Inside the Pallet House

It is an old two man weave, and a reminder that we have still got it.  3rd mics seem to be a nice to have, not a need to have.  Like a polo player on your shirt.  It is better to have one, but adding extras doesn't necessarily make it better.  

We have learned some truly shocking news this week.  It turns out that Taco Bell can cause diarrhea.  If that wasn't enough we are told that rabbies is something you should avoid.  To top it off Avacado tastes like something that we were not expecting, and it isn't chicken.

It's a worldly episode this week.  We take a look at the biggest beer drinking states in the USA, and we get some updates on what is happening in the EU this week.  Through it all we are reminded of how guitly you can feel even when you are doing nothing wrong.

World Cup fever is in the air, and even if we don't understand all of the rules we are in.  At least it makes more sense than eBasketball.  That is something we can all agree on; not like if peeing in the pool is cool.  

There is a lot happening in this world right now so we decided to rapid fire some topics.  Turns out mating for life might just be your downfall, but living on a floating pile of garbage might just be your future.  

We are joined by the OG third mic, and we break a few laws in the process.  There is something to be said for getting one over on the man, and in turn getting one over on the thief as well.  Yeah we are right back into our old form this week. 

Good news everybody, gambling no longer has consequences.  It sure won't get you kicked out of college.  It begs to question if going to college these days is even worth it though so not sure getting kicked out is the worst thing.  

Get your Colonoscopys people.  Not only is a great way to cut weight for the Summer; it just may let you see another Summer.  

We have some first times this week.  First time prentending we belong at the new club.  First time being on the other end of a pizza delivery.  First time learning about a new use for a mustache.  And a first time celebrating something one of us has been doing for 20 years. 

So many things are misunderstood between seemingly normal creatures.  Beauty and the Beast is a pretty good example of things just not making sense.  For the record Gaston is a hero.  Other relationship don't make sense for very different reason.  At least we undestand the relationship yard creatures have with the others. 

Some of us had a lot of fun this week, but others were not as ammused.  We shall see how it goes over with the listeners.  We also unpack some new shirt trends that are sure to dissapoint some people as well.  Happy Mother's Day ya'll.  

An East Coast road trip staple has had an unfortunate bit of luck, but we have hope that this is the rebirth of South of the Border.  We have seen old classics revived many time in the past.  Our Light Beer Challenge is a perfect example thanks to Food & Wine.  

People love to give you the option of what order to get good news and bad news.  Life often just hands you them in whatever order it wants to though.  Let's just hope we all have more god news than bad coming our way.

We are in beach mode this week.  We get to hear a first hand review of a Beach Boy(s) concert from Key West.  While this isn't a standard family beach activity, we do get to do a deep dive on the ones that are available at just about every other beach town.  Know what else is isn't as readily available as it should be, Sonic Ice.  Yeah we called it Sonic Ice because we know better than to call it Chik Fil A ice.

Masters weekend is here, and we all now have an excuse to sit on our butts and do sports.  Speaking of butts, the Ace Ventura rhino has found its forever home, and now we all get a chance to live out our dreams.   Gonna make for some great vacation photos.  

This week we are gearing up for Spring Break, and we debate the merits of when a band stops being the original band.  We are also introduced to another world class athlete.  This one continues to surprise us as he continues to beat all the odds.  We shall see if he beats his court case. 

We are always inching closer to our mortality, and there are steady reminders.  What we do with them is up to us.  Other times we inch closer to our wildest dreams.  Sometimes realizing them can also bring us closer to our mortality.

Dave has a court case he can get excited about that he has nothing to do with.  In the end he is right though; this is an interesting case.  At least this is based on facts; unlike another comment that found legs of its own.

What you say in front of your kids can impact them for the rest of their lives.  What you don't say could have quite the impact as well.  It is tough to know how much to really say.  Then there are the people who are able to stay silent no matter who is trying to get them to talk.  

The Painter joins us for a crappy pun run, and we take a deep dive on some of our favorite urban legends.   One of our namesakes is making a run at controlling all of the ways to party in the future.

Sometimes you are gifted a golden opportunity, and then you just don't act on it.  It's not like everyday you get to go to Sizzler.  We try and help a listener not squander his chance to do something good with a rare chance.

The Olympics have come and gone, and we are reminded that there are games that can bring us all together (or not)  On the other side of that coin is how people eat their pizza crust, and it turns out that can be very divisive. 

We had a busy week.  Most of us won a lot of bets, and it turns out we can bet on just about anything if we get the right app.  Having the right tool opens up a lot of doors.  Like a shoe that can turn a coach potato into a marathon runner, or a hat that catches the monkey poop fro getting in your eyes.   

The SuperBowl is here, and our picks are in. The devil is always in the numbers when it comes to gambling. Speaking of, we have a number that we should all be striving to reach, and it is going to take a joint effort to make it work.

We are still digging out from the ice.  We all had good ideas about how to prep, and some went better than others.  At least we aren't so undercooked that the little people started to do their thing.

There is a massive storm coming so we went snowboarding last week.  Timing isn't our thing.  As you prepare for the storm you can go to Lowes or Home Depot, but which one depends on what you need.  If you need something to cure your Vertigo then both are actually bad options.  If only there was a professional that could help for such a thing. 

Dave is on fire right now, and he pulls a win out for Brendan.  Some of his tactics were a bit questionable though.  Putting a vending machine outside of a dessert shop is not; that's just science.  We also get a follow up on a recommendation that may have been questionable.

Turns out there are tricks you can use to win in conversations, and others you can use to win in games.  We take a stab at helping you learn these tricks.  You know, real First World Problems being solved over here.  

We may have stumbled on a new first world problem, and hopefully learning about it keeps you from falling victim to it.  We also heard a story about a kid stumbling upon a new word, and then sticking the landing while using it.  Dave found a word that when uttered to a family member offended them so much that they gave him a car. 

We are back for another Holiday Drink Challenge.  It has been a year so a few strong drinks would really hit the spot, but which one hits it the best is TBD.  Game On. 

Guys we have a term you need to learn:  Ethically Sourced.  It is a bit of a cheat code when trying to brighten Christmas. Some of us could use the help because their Christmas lights are leaving a bit of brightness to be desired. We could blame it on the power, but I think we know better.

So much was missed this week, and so much was made.  On any given day one of the guys was winning, and another was losing, but in the end it made for some good stories.  One of us may have even finished the show in the positive. 

  Virginia has a new star that everybody is talking about.  The unfortunate news for us is it is a drunk raccoon.  It certainly is not the new dill piackle flavored cider that we released into the wild, and I doubt anyone is talking about the sad man with the cut face and dull saw in his hand.

We have winners this week.  Frying Ryan is worth more then any of us thought. Dave fakes it until he makes it in a shooting contest.  The Kids won when we all bet on various outcomes.  Adam gets his first W?

This podcast was recorded at the end of a long day, and for some of us it shows. Like a mismatched tracksuit it has some issues.  Like a pill that makes your farts smell good it is fighting an uphill battle.  Like a room full of 2 week mustaches there are winners and losers.  At least we have some sick beer taps to bid on.

Some episodes just take a direction of their own.  Without the help of AI we managed to find our own unique path.  This is the beauty of the human mind.

When you have bad luck the universe will make it clear, and it is best to recognize what it is trying to tell you.  In our case we simply doubled down.  Drive to a strip mall casino, tell half the band to stay home, and throw money at the problem.  That should do it. 

Guys don't often talk about the serious stuff, and that is by design.  Like buying a house near water, this system has it charms, but also its dangers.

This week we pit Old Stu against New Stu in a winner take all grudge match to king the top Stu.  The winner will have to face off with a new kind of AI.  To be fair we all are going to have to contend with this newest form of AI in one way or another. 

No matter where you are you will find yourself under one of 7 skies, and this week we find ourselves with the founders of Seven Skies canned premium cocktails.  Will and Ryan take us behind the scenes to learn about the genesis and the future of Seven Skies. From where we are sitting the future looks bright.

Like all fine art Taylor Swift's new album is taking some time to grow on people.   Some fine art keeps taking hits years later.  Everything cannot be an immediate smash like Gummie Grillz.

This week the guys find themselves diving into some truly questionable product design, starting with nipple-friendly roach clips (yes, apparently that's a thing). From there, they clean things up with a story of a wedding that went off without a hitch — a rare success in the unpredictable world of open bars and dance floors. Just when you think things are safe, the conversation circles back around to the unsettling rise of adult pacifiers.

Acronyms are used far too often these days. Sometime they can mean different things. This week we explore Bourbon and Beyond AKA BAB, and Build a Bear AKA BAB. It's confusing.

We take a look back at an episode from 2021.  Negotiating a good deal can be harder than it looks.  A good deal can be found at Fresh to Frozen, but no negotiating is needed there. When buying things on Craigslist it is important to not show too much of your knowledge because it can be used against you. It is also difficult to get a price down if you have traveled across multiple states to view something.  They know they have got you. Negotiations hinge on a lot of factors, but it always pays to take your shot, at least when it comes to Miley Cyrus. 

We revisit a work trip that went as expected, but with a few twists.  We also manage to do nothing, and now find a back will no longer let us twist.  The good news is we can always ship in some comfort food using GoldBelly.  

It is the busiest fantasy football weekend of the year.  Enjoy it, and then please keep the results to yourself.  We do our best to do exactly that, in fact we don't even make an effort during the draft, we let AI take the wheel.  We also let some third mics take the wheel from Troy. 

The boys had a huge task in front of them, but despite their age, they rose to the occasion.  I cannot say there were not missteps in the process, but we can't be expected to get everything right.  

Swinging can be a dangerous group sport, and we are reminded of how badly you can get burned.  You may be better off trying to find an alternative way to get your fix.  It worked for the latest ice cream flavor to hit the streets.

Dave is back, and he isn't hearing this BS. Like an in depth search of his RV before a music festival; he isn't taking it laying down.
