Google gave us a lot of goodies, but none so impressive as the length of the keynote.  They moved faster than anyone else we have ever seen.

We talk about what Apple announced today.  Is Apple Pencil a joke, do we like Eddie Cue’s matching Product RED watch, and do we play games on our streaming set top boxes?

What is Alphabet?  We don’t know, but that won’t stop us from discussing it.

We did a second show last week, on how data caps affect our download habits.

Apple just introduced their streaming music offering, and since Paul is the only one that can judge, we listen to him. We talk about how each one of us listens to music, and is this a viable option.

We talk to Rusty, the guy behind Pocketcasts, about his experience with visiting both I/O and WWDC. Seriously, download PocketCasts. Pay them money, for an excellent product

So Google I/O was upon us. Chaim wished he was able to go, but once again, he didn’t win the lottery. He had to armchair quarterback it. Anyway, we talk.

What does Verizon want from AOL? We spend too much time hypothesizing, and less time explaining what it actually means.

It has been only a few days, and the three of us (who don’t own an Apple Watch) feel the need to comment on it.  What are our initial thoughts?

Paul can’t join us because he just got back from London, but we discuss how “Google-fied” our lives are, and is it really a monopoly.

Since there was nothing in the news for the past few weeks we felt the need to talk about F8, the Facebook conference. We finish up by talking about why #Meerkat and #Periscope are things.

Not much here other than the Apple Watch.  We talk about how the keynote went, and weather any of us will buy one? Spoiler: Chaim won’t.

On this episode we were going to talk about net neutrality, but we decided to talk about Amazon’s echo.

With all the little stories going on, we decided to go through them quickly.  Naturally analysis was also quick.  We talk about Fitbit and Google Fit, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and CurrentC.  We finish off with the Amazon fire stick

We were told to not talk about it, so naturally we did. We tried our best to find both sides, but we couldn’t. We did everything wrong.

All three of us watched the snoozefest so you wouldn’t have to.  You are probably still sleeping from it.  The big question is does Chaim by a 5k iMac?

Next week we will be treated to another Apple announcement. We assume it is new iPads. Chaim thought we will spend the show discussing the minutia details of the ipad, but it turned into Chaim being told that nobody cares.

We have three hot topic items for you this week. First off we talk about Ello for longer than anyone thought. Who knew this social network will still get publicity for a week after launch. We move on to #bendgate where we agree it is overblown. We finish up with Windows 10

Amazon last week put out a whole slew of new kindles. Are they worth it? We discuss the need for so many different variations, as well as the need of a $200 eink version. Editor’s note: We apologize for this episode. Everything bad that could go wrong, went wrong.

We are recording the day iOS 8 came out. Since Paul and Justin downloaded the Gold Master, Chaim was stuck waiting for the download to happen. We discuss the major changes that will be useful.

We talk to Tim Hwang of the DERP institute to find out if they are for real or are they a joke.  Turns out they are for real, and they want to help gather data across the biggest community generated news sites around.

Google just decided to remove the authored links and photos next to search results. That is the extend of my understanding. What I do know is that we have our resident SEO expert, Paul, and he is going to explain to us some of the dark magic of SEO.

With it being a slow few weeks, our only hope was to gather random little news stories, throw them at the wall and see what sticks… That is all.

While this topic has been covered, we have not covered it yet. We take our thirty minutes this week to talk about the EU law requiring search engines to remove search results in the “Right to Be Forgotten.”
