Isis GrahamNotoriously resilient and endlessly innovative, Esette (aka Isis Graham) has carved out a lasting legacy in Western Canada’s electronic music scene. With over two decades of experience, her unrelenting work ethic has made her a leading figure both behind the decks and behind the scenes, shaping cultural staples like The Alberta Electronic Music Conference, Girls on Decks, Substation Recordings, and Versions Patio Parties.Graham’s roots in Calgary’s underground rave scene date back to 1998, where she witnessed the peak of renegade parties. By 1999, she transitioned into DJing, and after local bylaws led to the end of raves, she adapted by bringing her sound to some of Western Canada’s most iconic venues over the past 20 years. Her sets have graced stages at renowned clubs like the Embassy, Cherry Lounge, HIFI Club, Habitat Living Sound, and Open Studios as well as celebrated festivals like Bass Coast, WMC, Decibel, Think!
