This week I sit down with Hajar Hassnen Al-Amere, aptly known as the NASA girl because she is the first Bruneian who went to/interned at the world’s most iconic space agencies: NASA! 😱🚀🚀🚀 I heard about her stellariffic journey on University of Brunei Darussalam's instagram post a year ago and immediately knew I had to have her on the show to hear how she got there from the woman herself! At the time of recording this episode, she was still waiting for graduation — a Chemistry major at the UBD Faculty of Science! — which she has since and now just started her masters! Listening to her story, I felt pretty proud of her personal accomplishments and her as a Bruneian youth; from making a good impression on her mentor and peers (who are, according to her, bigshots!), meeting the Artemis II crew (science nerds wya), what her day-to-day at the Jet Propulsion Lab was like, and so much more!
