Despite President Trump's assurance that the US has the Strait of Hormuz "under control," Iran continues to negotiate trade route control with Oman, NOT the US. Trump has made specific threats against Oman if they "interfere" with US/Iran negotiations. In other international news, Trump allegedly ordered a reduction of training activity cooperation between US and ally South Korea military forces, while he lauded North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un.
