-
Constant (late night wip)
A work in progress. Just fooling around with some beats and sound design. Nothing fancy yet and feedback is welcome...
-
Close And Closing (wip inst edit)
An instrumental(ish) version of an old track that I need to redo the vocals on. Updates to come.
-
Chain Letter (Alt Mix)
From a small collection of alternate mixes of tracks from my 2014 album "A Product Of My Environment". The rights to this album return to me this week, so I thought I would upload a few of these previously unreleased versions. Original album also available at www.jazzyspoon.bandcamp.com Features...
-
The Other Places We Go
A ambient IDM meets Bristol bounce triphop instrumental. I have no idea what to do with this track, as it fits absolutely nowhere in my catalog (imo)
-
Timing Is Everything Else
An old rock track I made with my friends Theron Thompson (lead guitar)and Jordan Ashcraft (Bass). I would more likely put this under my "From Noise To Water" moniker than Jazzyspoon if I ever get around to actually releasing it.
-
Central Nervous System - Jazzyspoon
Old school Detroit techno hop with UK vinyl flavorings. ThrowBack Thursday continues with this track from 2006.
-
Three Kings of Ella (Xmashup)
We need some holiday spirit flowing right now. This is a old mashup/remix of a Christmas album by Ella Fitzgerald available as a bonus track on my upcoming remix compilation. If you want a copy of this version now, just ask, don't rip it. I'll give you a hi res version. Happy Holidays!
-
Beauty Fades Eventually
An old fav of my wife's. Nothing too fancy, just experimenting with a Lynch-esque downtempo hybrid.
-
The Life Of A Second
From my latest release "The Lull Between The Lullabies". https://jazzyspoon.bandcamp.com/album/the-lull-between-the-lullabies Who will you be? Who will you share your life with? What will matter to you? A work in progress that has enough momentum to share. For a yet to be born son. He's due in…

773-16 (wip mix) - Jazzyspoon
This track is mostly nonsense, but I'll keep working on it til it's finished. Was at a nice place to share it for mix feedback. Vocal clips randomly captured from my friend, Jaeser, long ago. the mix feels mid heavy at this point, but I'll be able to carve that down on the next session with it.
-
Supernova Lifestyle (16 mix)
Revisited a popular track of mine (for fun) from my 2010 release "Circle When Finished". Nothing new added to it, just an updated cleaner mix. I will release this as a free download in the next week or so as soon as I feel done with it. Additional guitar by Jon Marion and vocal clips by Lisa Taylor.
-
Detroition
My weird ode to the hometown of my youth. Stay strong, Detroit. Still a work in progress, but I'm happy enough with where this one is sitting.
-
In Human Terms
Another 'very electronic' work in progress.
-
A Snowy Christmas Eve
A very ambient, soundtrack Christmas-themed track for 2015. A twist on a classic with some singing in the background by my niece, Elena. I will set this as a free download on Christmas eve. Til then, seems like a good time as any to upload this. Enjoy and Happy Holidays.
-
Perfect 2020
Downtempo trip hop meets industrial rock with a dusting of MPC. Updated mix for this release.
-
The Shallow End
I will let this odd track speak for itself. Available as part of my 2015 album "You've Heard It All Before" available on bandcamp and everywhere else. https://jazzyspoon.bandcamp.com/album/youve-heard-it-all-before

First
Ambient Lullaby for my son. I originally made this for him before he was born and it turned out to be one of my most popular ambient tracks. Added to my album "You've Heard It All Before". https://jazzyspoon.bandcamp.com/album/youve-heard-it-all-before
-
A Charmed Life
Downtempo IDM with an ambient touch. A very old track (one of my oldest under the moniker of Jazzyspoon) finally getting a proper release. Added to my album "You've Heard It All Before" available here: https://jazzyspoon.bandcamp.com/album/youve-heard-it-all-before
-
She Collects Dead Things
From my album "Noise and Noir".
-
Nothing To Write Home About
From 2003. A simple, downtempo trip rock track. Dedicated to my longtime friend and musical cohort, Lisa Taylor, who also supplied the vocals. Added to my album.
-
Swunken Dragger
An old, chill track given new breath and put on the album. Vocal clips by Jaeser (aka Josh Felix).
-
Summerthyme
Trip Hop with a grip of IDM/experimental jazz. This is a collab with some super talented artists from NZ. Huge thanks to Amy McBride https://soundcloud.com/amycin for sharing her amazing group of musician friends with me. Credits: Elyssa Vulpes - vocals (http://elyssavulpes.com) Jason Just…
