We are going through a time in our nation where there are people who are focusing so hard on troubles that are affecting our country, that these people are talking down anything beneficial that is coming to us.   What I mean is this - in my life here on earth, I have had difficulties and troubles, but I have learned from my own experience that if the Lord is leading me, sometimes, the harder things turn out to be a good result.   My talk today is one such story.

Question: Have you made yourself to believe that because you aren't some superstar at what you do that you don't have anything to offer in life to anyone?  The truth is this, we all have something to give and each of us is an important part of God's Plan for our country.  The story today is about doing. When I was a young boy up through High School, I liked to watch boxing - I even boxed  some myself.   But there was one crucial thought to keep close to myself - Be Prepared, and Don't Quit.   This story is about 1 American Cavalry that had one big problem - they had no horses to ride in their battle - they were horseless!   This story message?   When the fight is upon you, do not be just a watcher - Get in the Arena!

There is a lot of talk across our nation today about oil and all of the in and outs of the latest.   The story I am giving you today is a story you have never heard before and will teach us all about the real value of oil.

We have just finished an amazing celebration in America and it was so exciting to see people being great fans of America.  Now we are busy watching the news, and there are clearly many people in our country that are not in love with America as we wish.   But where does it start? It starts with us, in our own hearts. Take a listen to a number of these thoughts from our Founding Fathers that gave them the direction to keep striving to be a better example to others as how we should carry ourselves.   Don't stop praying, don't stop walking the right way.

As you know, we are growing very close to the 4th of July and it is going to be quite the celebration. I have decided that for my July 4th program, I will be doing, each weekend, prior to the 4th of July, stories that are all related in my opinion to be the best American birth stories that talk about our character and our determination to fight for our freedom.   This weekend's YAT is a story that happened on Dodger Field in the mid 70's - what exactly happened when two men rushed onto the field to burn an American Flag right there on the field and everyone was stunned.    It is a powerful note to everyone that we would be willing to take on the most dangerous things we could face and do it because we love our country.

This story is about one person who was in harm's way and could have run, but acted in a courageous way instead. We should all learn from this story that you can be someone's hero even if you aren't doing something courageous. What would you do?

As we look back in U.S. History, it is hard to believe that we didn't have the most powerful military in the world.   But, we had men who were willing to fight because they believed in our freedom and they loved our America.   Let us never forget that freedom is not free and a great price has been paid.   God bless you, Jerry Stewart

I have now spent over 25 years producing Radio Features for Radio Stations all across America. It has been my job to let all Americans today know the great price of Freedom paid by those who, with God's Help, gave us our Great America.   But the thing that always amazes me is that so many "heroes" in our Nation's history have never even been heard of - such is the story today of George Whitfield - one of the main reasons that we have America.   Pass this story along and tell everyone about Minister George Whitfield.    Jerry Stewart

Major League Baseball - Play Ball!   Playing Sports, watching Sports is a great thing for all of us to do in America. But did you know that in the beginning of Pro Baseball there were so many Americans who were left out as professional players because of their skin color.   It's hard to believe that American Negroes were not allowed to play Professional Baseball - so how did it come to be that all they were allowed to play - it's quite a story that needs to be told to those who have never heard it.   So let's go!!

We have a Celebration Day coming here in America next week that actually didn't start here in our Nation - It is "Saint Patrick's Day".   It is a true Story of a young man and God's work through him.   Most of us know St  Patrick's Day for its 4 Leaf Clovers, Beer Parties, and general Celebration.   But if you haven't heard the true story behind "Saint Patrick's Day" you must hear this True Story now. 

With today being President's Day, this is a good story related to one of our Presidents of the United States.  What did they build in his honor?   Enjoy!

This is the story of a young man named Roy Riegels who played in the Rose Bowl Game as the starting Center for the University of California in 1929.   He was truly one of the best Juniors on the team, but what happened to Roy at that game made it to be his worst game ever.    In fact, his action was so embarrassing, that he refused to go back out on the field for the second half of the game until his coach begged him to get back in the game because "the game was not over yet."   This is a great story that cannot be missed.

One of the biggest problems that we have in our nation and around the world is that no one wants to stand up and do the right thing. We all have a responsibility to carry our own weight and do what is needed. Wow, its already the year 2026 as we bring you your first YAT for this new year.   Let us start off this new year by looking at the various troubles and issues facing We The People  AND Let us Pray!   This is  a GOOD ONE - DON'T LET IT GET PAST YOU!

Artiban the 4th Wiseman is a story of a 4th Wiseman who searched for Jesus and found him finally as He hung from the Cross.

The Principles of Our Founding Fathers are the conversations that came about between the Founding Fathers, and how they worked out a plan for our Government to follow to see us how to act as a Nation. It's really a good story.

This is an amazing story that happened in WWI.  Be sure to share this with others.

It is hard to believe that this story for this week is in our true American history books - but it is!

In my stories, I tell a lot about people who are determined not to just try, but to never give up in their "Doing".   Being an AmeriCAN, 'not an Americant' is quite impressive and we must all be AmeriCANs if our nation is to survive.   But this particular story tells us about a man, Charles Lindberg, who was not just striving to just do something that no other had ever done, but those before who had failed and died trying.    So, let us see what AmeriCAN Charles Lindberg did.    Jerry Stewart

  It's another warm one in Texas - hope your own local weather is doing well for you.   Our Story this week is not necessarily one that you haven't heard before, but the details of just what happened there are not always so clear.   It's the story of what I call "The Most Famous Tea Party in Our History". We have all come to know it as "The Boston Tea Party".   As you listen to this "Party Story" you will see just how close this event was to the passing date of our Declaration of Independence, and that one of our "Sayings" today, "No taxation without Representation", began in this event.   Please make sure that your listeners don't miss this story which was a great part in getting us on our way to our "Freedom Declaration"

What many people don't know is that Abraham Lincoln was not the first attempted Presidential assassination.  Of course, we all know that he did not survive the shooting, but there was another attempt on a president's life and his name was Andrew Jackson.  This story has two very odd parts - 1) The assination was attempted, but he was not shot and 2) The court's decision from this clear murderest attempt was not what anyone thought the decision would be.    Listen to this story and learn what is still being used today.  

This "You Are There" is about remembering and honoring our veterans who fought to keep us free and safe.   We need to remember why we have a Memorial Day and not treat it as a day to shop for great deals, but to talk to families that lost that loved one fighting for our country.    

To be a hero you don't necessarily have to save someone from a burning building, or jump into freezing water to save someone from drowning - we are told in Webster's Dictionary what the true hero can be.   Listen and remember and honor those who have given their last full measure of devotion in war for our America. 

Did you know that Jesus came to earth to do something that he did not want to do?  

This is the true story of one of the most dramatic efforts to burn our U.S. Flag in front of 10's of thousands of people and on television.    Some believe that our flag is just a piece of cloth.  But just like our Bible, it's just not paper writings, it is a powerful picture of what we must know about our country and our American Flag, the red for sacrifice, the white for seeking purity as a nation and a people, and blue to remind us that our powerful help comes from Almighty God.   This is a great story, and make sure to listen to the end to see what the crowd did after the flag was saved.  

Today, all around the world people believe that one of the largest ship wrecks ever was the Titanic.  But did you know that in April of 1865, there was a shipwreck that killed more people than the Titanic and it happened on the Mississippi River in the U.S.    And, there were more passengers killed than the Titanic.     Listen, learn, enjoy!   Jerry Stewart

It is hard to believe that there was ever a time in our America when citizens would be disallowed from participating in anything that our nation has to offer.   But there was a time that Negros could not play in Major Leagure Baseball - this story today is about one Major League Team owner who decided to be the first to bring in a Negro on his team.    This is an amazing story of courage and determination that cannot be ignored. 

With St Patrick's Day behind us, there are many who do not know the story behind why we have this holiday.  Some think it is for the Green Beer and the Irish Stew, but there is a great story of how St. Patrick's Day began.    You will be enlightened if you haven't heard this true story before.

With all of the strange stories I tell about our U.S History, you may think that you have heard them all.   But the story that I am about to tell you today may be the "strangest strange story" you have ever heard.   Be prepared!

It's been a long time since I learned the Pledge of Allegiance, as those in our third grade class recited it to our teacher and finished with a perfect presentation.  Our teacher said she noticed that we all knew the words perfectly, but it just seemed like it was memorized with no heart behind the words.   Then she began quoting the pledge back to us with the heart of the document included.   Since that day, I have never forgotten what the Pledge of Allegiance is all about.   Enjoy,

Love is a wonderful and beautiful thing, it can bring joy to your life, more joy than just about anything else.  But what happens when the love is sadly lost?     Here is such a story.

This is a good true story about character and how you handle yourself.  We all need to remember that how we react is a good teaching moment for those watching you.   We can all learn from this story.
