Welcome to J&J Sports Episode 29, featuring Pranav Elumalai, a guest who we've had on in the past. This is the final episode of the 2025-2026 school year and potentially ever(????). To kick off the episode, we went over the Mariners and recapped recent MLB events. We then shifted over to an NBA finals recap and talked about key things that have happened and potentially will happen. We then moved over to a final segment where we talked about the 2026 FIFA world cup and how some of the games will happen in the US, including Seattle. We then had an emotional sign-off for the end of the year. It's been an emotional year for all of us, filled with highs and lows. But around here, we look at what a great year its been for the podcast and reminisce on the great times we've had on the show. Jay and Jackson also might not be in the same radio class come next school year either, so this could be wraps for J&J Sports. Welcome to Episode 18 of J&J Sports. We had a pretty packed episode today and kicked off with an NFL free agency recap after the first day of the legal tampering period. We know a ton of stuff happened afterwards and there was a ton of stuff we couldn't get to, but we tried to make our best effort to get to the key signings. We then shifted gears a little bit and talked about March Madness being on the horizon and the conference tournaments for the power conferences starting up. We are LIVE on KMIH 88.9 The Bridge for the first time. The pacing might be a bit different for us, but it was a blast and the start of something very new for us. We also brought on a very special guest, Pablo Fernandez, to give us some of his takes on our topics. Speaking of which, we first recapped the amazing NFL Wild Card playoff weekend and all of the crazy things that happened. We are back for 2026! We missed out on a lot of sports while we were on break so we have PACKED episode for you guys. We start off with a NFL weeks 16-18 recap with many takes. We went into a Seahawks recap and then a segment on our playoff predictions. We then ended with a segment on the college football playoffs and the state of college football at the moment. Jackson wasn't here with us on the episode today. Amelia Sung stepped in to replace him. We talked about the NBA season up to this point and the NBA Cup finals prediction. We talked about the week 15 in the NFL and the impact of injuries. We also recapped the Seahawks game. It was a bit of a different episode than we normally have. Hopefully you guys enjoy!

We talked the MLB offseason up to this point once again and the resigning of certain players. We recapped weeks 12-14 since we missed a few weeks and looked ahead to week 15. We then talked about how strange certain Seahawks games have been played.

We started off the episode with a quick Seattle sports recap. Right after, we dived into a quick MLB free agency overview and some takes on the Mariners resigning Josh Naylor. We then talked about the strangeness of the games in Week 11. We wrapped up the episode with a Seahawks recap on the wild Rams game.

We kicked off episode 7 with a NFL week 10 recap and about the insane comebacks during the week. We went into a Seahawks recap right after and finished off the episode with some hot takes on the potential NFL playoff landscape.

We kicked the episode off with a recap on the insane World Series finish and talked about the significance of it. We then moved over to a Week 9 NFL recap and a special NFL trade deadline recap. We then finished it out with a Seahawks recap and a rest of season outlook as we have hit the midway point of the season.

We had a short Seattle Sports recap on the good start to the season for the Kraken and Seahawks and the sad, but overall successful finish for the Mariners. We then had a few final thoughts on the Mariners season and expanded into a MLB World Series outlook. We then jumped into a week 8 recap of the NFL and how boring many of the games were this week. We had a larger Seahawks recap because of the missed week. We then closed things out with a take on the start of the NBA season.

We talked about week 5 of the 2025 NFL season and all of the strangeness that occurred. We also expanded into the Seahawks game itself and how it was a tough loss but showed the capabilities of this team even with depleted depth. We wrapped up the episode with a MLB playoffs and Mariners playoffs recap up to this point.

Today, we talk about the week 5 of the 2025 NFL recap and get into the craziness of the week from a fantasy perspective and a game perspective. We expand on that recap with a debrief of the week for the seahawks. We end the episode with a mariners and MLB playoff recap up to October 7th of the 2025 MLB season.
