WPH #594: HUGE ERROR By Tom Dwan?????

Playing in a cash game on your own live stream might be something most people would avoid. But Ryan Feldman, CEO of Hustler Casino Live, is not like most as he loves to get in there and battle! In this high stakes poker cash game, he steps out from behind the cameras and into the spotlight, facing none other than poker sensation Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan. In this poker hand, Feldman bets the river with top pair and Dwan is on the verge of calling that he even shows his cards to the entire table! But will Feldman give something away that allows Dwan to make the correct fold or will this be a huge error by Tom Dwan? When you’re playing against weaker, less game theory optimal (GTO) studied opponents in small or mid stakes live cash games, you’ll often see betting lines that poker solvers simply do not recommend. A common example is when someone leads the flop or turn from out of position for an unusually small sizing. These tiny donk bets tend to come from a very polarized range, usually representing either a strong made hand or a weak, marginal holding that they’re unsure on how to play.Your goal is to figure out which end of their range this small bet falls into. If it’s weak, raising will win you the pot immediately. If it’s strong, you can play cautiously or value raise thinner, knowing they will not fold. Once you recognize these huge leaks in your opponents’ games, exploiting these non GTO tendencies becomes straightforward and extremely profitable. Tom Dwan also known as durrrr from his online days is a 39 year old American professional poker player. He is a favorite poker player for many around the world as they would watch him battle in the highest stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker before poker’s Black Friday hit. Dwan is known for his fearless style and crazy bluffs. He was a regular on Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Today, Durrrr is mostly known to play in high stakes private games in Asia. Durrrr is often seen on the Triton poker tour playing in the largest buy-in poker tournaments in the world. Dwan currently has over $6,900,000 in live poker tournament earnings which puts him in the top 300 on the all time money list. Since 2007, Tom has played over 217 live streamed poker cash games and has won more than $4,000,000. Ryan Feldman is an American amateur poker player with over $170,000 in live poker tournament earnings. He is the owner and producer of the Hustler Casino Live Stream. Before that, he worked as a producer for another poker live stream – Live At The Bike from 2016 to 2019. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state of the art live poker show. Some of the most notable poker players to have appeared on the show are Phil Ivey ‘The Tiger Woods of Poker’ ‘RaiseOnce’, Tom Dwan ’durrrr’, Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’, Chris Moneymaker, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider, Garrett Adelstein ‘Gman’, Tony Guoga ‘Tony G’ and many more. Preflop:From under the gun, Ryan Feldman raises to $1,200 with Q9 of hearts as Tom Dwan calls out of the cutoff holding pocket tens, and Peter calls on the button with 43 of clubs. Steve looks down at AK of hearts and chooses to 3-bet and squeezes to $6,400 from the big blind. Feldman calls, Dwan calls with his pocket pair, and Peter comes along with his low suited connector. Flop – Qc 8s 4s:Steve is first to act and elects not to continuation bet with his big slick, since the pot is multi-way and he only has two overcards and a backdoor straight draw. Feldman currently has the best hand, having flopped top pair with a backdoor straight draw of his own. Feldman checks before Dwan checks as well with his pair of tens, and Peter opts to check behind with bottom pair and a backdoor flush draw. Turn – Jd:Steve, Feldman, and Dwan pick up straight draws on the jack of diamonds turn. Steve bets the minimum of $400 with his gutshot to broadway and is immediately raised to $15,000 by Feldman with a pair of queens. Dwan cold calls the raise, which forces Peter and Steve to fold, leaving Feldman and Dwan to go heads-up to the river. River – 5h:With just one pair, Feldman bets $32,000 on the five of hearts river. Will Feldman be able to get Dwan to make the incorrect hero call with a pair of tens, or will Dwan correctly read the situation and toss his cards into the muck? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see what happens! WPH #593: Has Alan Keating LOST His MIND???

Alan Keating entertains poker fans across the globe on high stakes cash streams with his fearless, crazy, and loose style. Now, Keating is taking his shot at poker tournaments. In this poker hand from the $25,000 buy-in 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event, he tangles with poker professional Alex Kulev near the money bubble. Kulev leads out on the flop and turn with complete air before putting Keating to the test for the majority of his stack on the river. Has Alan Keating lost his mind, because with just ace-high, Keating has no real option but to fold, right? When playing in a poker tournament, and you have 50bb or less after defending out of the big blind, it is game theory optimal (GTO) to have a leading strategy on certain flops that are good for your range. For example, on a low, wet & connected flop, the big blind will often have a slight range advantage since a lot of the suited and offsuit holdings that connect well on these flops will be defended. Again, it is important to make sure you are balanced in these spots by leading not only with bluffs, but also with value hands so that your opponents cannot easily exploit you. Alan Keating is a well known high stakes cash game poker player often playing in the biggest live cash games and private poker games around the world. He has over $230,000 in live tournament poker earnings. Keating has become more of a regular on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He is extremely popular amongst poker fans partly due to the fact that he wins and loses millions of dollars whilst always carrying a smile on his face! Keating has been seen associating with poker celebrities such as Dan Bilzerian. Alex Kulev ‘FutureofMe’ is a professional poker player from Bulgaria. He has over $15,500,000 in live tournament poker earnings which puts him in the top 100 on the all time money list and 1st on Bulgaria’s all time money list. He has 1 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet which came from a $50,000 buy-in event at the 2023 WSOP. Kulev won $2,087,073 for his first place finish. The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise was a No-Limit Hold’em and Mixed Games festival held from December 3rd – 14th at the Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas. Featuring 15 bracelet events that culminated in the $25,000 Main Event. $25,000 – 2024 WSOP Paradise Main Event – Results 1st: Yinan Zhou – China – $6,000,0002nd: Marcelo Aziz Jr. – Brazil – $4,600,0003rd: Mustapha Kanit ‘lasagnaaammm’ – Italy – $3,600,0004th: Liv Boeree – England – $2,800,0005th: Christopher Nguyen – Germany – $2,100,0006th: Michael Addamo ‘imluckbox’ – Australia – $1,650,0007th: Justin Bonomo ‘ZeeJustin’ – U.S.A. – $1,300,0008th: Vadzim Lipauka – Belarus – $1,000,0009th: George Lehmann – Germany – $750,000 Preflop:Nearing the money bubble of the 2024 World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event, Alan Keating raises to 50,000 from the cutoff with AQ of diamonds and Alex Kulev defends with 83 of hearts in the big blind. Flop – 7s 6c 4c:The wet, low, connected flop is great for Kulev’s range and he knows this, as he decides to donk lead for 35,000 with a gutshot straight draw. Keating calls with just two broadway cards, no backdoor draws but is currently ahead with his ace-high. Turn – 9c:The front door flush comes in on the nine of clubs turn, causing Kulev to lead out again, this time for 155,000, having picked up an open ended straight draw. Keating calls one more time still holding the strongest hand out of the two. River – 9s:The board pairing river doesn’t deter Kulev as he leads out for the last time with a big bet size of 430,000 with just eight-high. Surely Keating can’t call with ace-high and risk bubbling the tournament? Stay tuned to this poker video to see what Keating decides to do. WPH #592: A Truly ROUGH Situation.

Under the lights at the Lodge Card Club in Texas with fans around the world watching the stream can be daunting for any poker player! However, Lodge regular & PokerCoaching coach JWin is no stranger to facing tough decisions live on stream! In this poker hand, JWin gets put in a truly rough situation for his entire stack, and he has to decide if Mr. Kipling is bluffing or value betting. Will he come to the right decision with his two pair? When you are preflop, it is important to think about your opponents’ position and the ranges they are likely to use from each seat. If a poker player raises from under the gun, their range should generally be stronger, tighter and built around premium broadway hands, suited aces, and high pocket pairs. Against this type of tight early position range you should proceed cautiously and 3-bet less often because they are far more likely to have the strongest part of their range. However, when a player in late position decides to raise, especially from the button, their range will become much wider. This allows you to 3-bet lighter and apply pressure with a wider range, since they will be entering the pot with many more marginal holdings. Jay Nguyen or JWin as he is more commonly known, is an American professional poker player. He regularly plays on The Lodge Poker live streams and he usually plays all the way up to $50 – $100 blinds. He also has a popular YouTube channel with over 11,000 subscribers where he produces poker vlogs. JWin is a brand ambassador and coach for PokerCoaching.com. Since 2020, JWin has played on more than 148 live streamed poker cash games and has won over $180,000. Little is known about Mr. Kipling apart from the fact that his nationality is British. Since 2020, Mr. Kipling has played on more than 9 live streamed cash games and has lost over $15,000. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. This exclusive poker club, accessible only to its poker members, boasts an impressive array of amenities, including over 80 poker tables of cash games and poker tournaments, operating around the clock. Additionally, The Lodge provides an inviting ambiance with 40 large screen TVs, allowing poker club members to enjoy sports entertainment whilst playing poker or while relaxing in the cozy waiting area. The live poker stream includes commentary from Skull Mike and Slick Rick, who have been long time regulars at The Lodge Poker Club. They provide viewers with poker strategy insights, complemented by a perfect blend of humor. Lodge Card Club has bought San Antonio’s largest poker room, Rounders Card Club, which opened in July 2024. The new Lodge Card Club San Antonio will relocate to a larger space to host bigger poker tournaments and events. Chaz Gill, known as Big Daddy Chaz, will join Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme, and Brad Owen as a partner to help meet the local poker community’s needs. Preflop:With the $100 triple straddle on, Mr. Kipling makes it $300 from the hijack with A5 of spades. JWin decides to 3-bet out of the big blind with AQo, and Mr. Kipling calls with his suited ace that is already 40% of a straight flush. Flop – Ad Ts 3c:Both players flop top pair, but JWin has the higher kicker. JWin chooses to continuation bet for $1,000 with his pair of aces and backdoor broadway draw. Mr. Kipling calls with his weak ace, although he does have backdoor straight and flush draws available. Turn – Qs:JWin improves to top two pair, aces and queens, and fires a second barrel, this time for $1,000. Mr. Kipling has picked up the backdoor nut flush draw, so he opts just to call, and the two poker players head to the river. River – Kc:The king of clubs on the river is one of the worst cards in the deck for JWin as now any jack makes a broadway straight. Still with two pair, JWin decides to check. Mr. Kipling realises his pair of aces probably isn’t going to be good at showdown, so he puts JWin all in for $8,685, which is just over the size of the pot. Will JWin be able to pick off this bluff, or will he make the incorrect fold and be shown the bad news? Stay tuned to this poker video to find out. WPH #591: Has Brad Owen LOST His MIND???

Poker vlogger Brad Owen has filmed his entire journey through high stakes poker tournaments and cash games. In this hand, Brad is playing a cash game at the Bellagio poker room in Las Vegas with his friend Ping. Both poker players end up with strong hands by the river, but has Brad Owen lost his mind and will he overvalue his trips after his friend puts out an overbet of two times the pot?! When your opponent makes a polarizing bet on the river, which means they bet the pot or even overbet, they are signaling that they either have a very strong hand like the nuts or they are bluffing. In these spots, even when you have a strong hand such as trips or a straight, you need to realize that when your hand is far from being the nuts it becomes a bluff catcher. If you raise here, you will only get called by better hands and lose, while forcing all of their bluffs to fold. Because of this, the best play against a polarizing river bet is usually to just call and avoid potentially value owning yourself. Brad Owen is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, he is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 765,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel has had over 175,000,000 views. Primarily a cash game poker player, Brad has started playing more live poker tournaments since the start of 2022. His lifetime total live poker tournament winnings are over $990,000. His biggest cash for $152,266 came in December 2023 when he finished 7th in the $50,000 WPT Alpha8, during the WPT World Championship at the Wynn, Las Vegas. The Bellagio poker room is a stylish 7,000 square feet space that houses 40 tables and two high-limit areas, the most prominent of which is the Legends Room, an exclusive two-table enclave named to honor poker’s greatest players. This room was previously known as Bobby’s room, named after the legendary poker player Bobby Baldwin. Preflop:Ping raises pocket sixes from the hijack to $150 with Brad Owen calling out of the cutoff holding AJ of hearts, and the big blind player calling with a mystery hand. Flop – Qh Ts 6s:After the big blind checks, Ping fires a continuation bet of $175 with his bottom set of sixes. Brad, with a gutshot straight draw to broadway and a backdoor flush draw, takes the most aggressive option by raising to $600. The big blind folds, but Ping opts to just call with his set and the two poker players head to the turn. Turn – Jd:The jack of diamonds on the turn completes a few straight draws and Ping checks the action over to Brad, who decides to check behind, having improved to second pair. River – Jc:A board pairing jack of clubs on the river is the worst card in the deck for Brad, as he now has trip jacks with the best kicker, while Ping has the best hand with a full house, sixes full of jacks. Ping chooses to fire a big overbet of $3,500, which is over twice the size of the pot. Will Brad be able to get away from three of a kind? Will he just call and see the bad news, or will he overvalue his hand and put in a raise? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see what happens! WPH #590: This TABLE TALK Makes Him LOSE His MIND!

During a $10,000 buy-in PokerGO Cup tournament in Las Vegas, Ren Lin and Patrick Leonard clash in a massive pot close to the money bubble. Leonard rivers a full house while Lin has complete air, but this table talk makes him lose his mind! When you defend your big blind against a raise from early or late position and the flop contains broadway cards or an ace, you should generally start by checking your entire range. These boards favor your opponent’s range because they are more likely to have stronger hands, including the nuts. By deciding not to bet, you also protect your checking range, since it will now include strong hands as well as medium strength and weak hands, keeping your poker strategy balanced and difficult to exploit. Patrick Leonard ‘pads1161’, or Pads as he is also known, is a professional poker player from the United Kingdom. Leonard has won over $4,400,000 in live poker tournaments putting him in the top 1,000 on poker’s all time money list. He has 1 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, which came in the 2022 $1,000 Tag Team Event where he paired up with WSOP Main Event Champion Espen Jørstad. Ren Lin ‘Lady Gaga’, or Tony Lin as he is known in the poker world, is a professional poker player from China, who resides in New York, United States. Lin has won over $16,000,000 in live poker tournaments putting him in the top 100 on poker’s all time money list. Lin’s biggest cash of $1,045,781 came in 2023 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship, where he finished 3rd. The PokerGo Cup was a series of eight No-Limit Hold’em poker tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5,000 – $25,000 played from February 11 – 21, 2025 and held inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. $10,000 – 2025 PokerGO Cup Event #4 – Results 1st: Eric Blair – United States – $254,8002nd: Joey Weissman – United States – $161,7003rd: Justin Saliba ‘Jsaliba2’ – United States – $117,6004th: Darren Elias ‘arrakeen’ – United States – $88,2005th: Aram Zobian ‘araggr’ – United States – $68,6006th: Justin Sternberg – United States – $49,000 Preflop:Approaching the bubble in a $10,000 PokerGO tournament, Ren Lin raises from the cutoff with A3o to 30,000. After the button and small blind fold, Patrick Leonard defends his big blind holding K8o. Flop – Kd 9c 8s:Leonard flops best with top and bottom pair, which he decides to check. Lin, with just ace-high, chooses to carve out a continuation bet of 35,000. Leonard lays the trap by just smooth calling with his two pair and the two professional poker players head to the turn. Turn – Ks:The king of spades on the turn now improves Leonard to a full house, which is currently the second nuts as he only loses to king-nine for a higher boat. He checks again and Lin decides to represent trips as he fires a second barrel of 60,000. Leonard opts not to check raise with his boat and just calls to allow Lin the opportunity to bluff on the river. River – 2d:A blank deuce of diamonds on the river changes nothing, and Leonard leads out with his full house for an extremely small bet of 55,000. Will Lin just fold to the bet, or will Leonard be able to get him to do something crazy with some table talk? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #589: CRAZY Live Read DESTROYS Patrik Antonius [$5,000,000 For 1st!]

Being in the final four of a $200,000 buy-in Triton Poker tournament in Monte Carlo with over $5,000,000 for the winner is the kind of dream most poker players can only imagine. For Vladimir Korzinin and Patrik Antonius, that dream is real as the two face off in a fascinating poker hand. Antonius tries to bluff Korzinin off ace-high, but the decision does not come down to bet sizing or ICM pressure. Instead, it comes down to the month of Antonius’ birthday! The question is whether that month means Antonius is bluffing or value betting, and whether or not this crazy live read actually works! When you are in the big blind and have check called a bet on the flop, there are some instances where the turn card allows you to lead out. For example, after you have check called a bet on a low connected flop and the middle card pairs on the turn, this is a good spot to bet into the aggressor. As the big blind player, this pairing turn card is much better for your range which is why leading out makes sense as you are more likely to have trips than the aggressor. Patrik Antonius ‘The Finn’ or ‘FinddaGrind’ is from Finland and has over $29,600,000 in live tournament poker earnings putting him in the top 50 on the all time money list. Patrik is known for being stoic at the table and near impossible to get a live read from. He is the co-owner of First Land of Poker (FLOP), which is a company aimed at revolutionizing the world of poker through innovative digital solutions, enhancing the experience for poker players, and streamlining operations for poker room operators. At the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Patrik was inducted into the prestigious Poker Hall of Fame. Vladimir Korzinin ‘Gambledore” is a 69 year old amateur poker player from Estonia. He has over $7,800,000 in live tournament poker earnings, putting him 1st on Estonia’s all-time money list. Korzinin only has 4 recorded cashes, with his biggest cash of $4,350,000 coming from a victory in a $125,000 buy-in event at the Triton Poker Series Monte Carlo. This poker hand took place during the Triton Poker Series Monte Carlo at the Monte-Carlo Sporting / Salle Des Étoiles – Monaco; it had 16 poker tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $25,000 up to $200,000 in No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) and Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), and ran from November 1st – November 14th, 2024. $200,000 – 2024 Triton Poker Series Monte Carlo Event #8 – Results 1st: Patrik Antonius ‘TheFinn”, “FinddaGrind” – Finland – $5,130,0002nd: Vladimir Korzinin ‘Gambledore’ – Estonia – $3,470,0003rd: Espen Jørstad ‘Hymn2ninkasi’ – Norway – $2,255,0004th: Roman Hrabec ‘gogac_sniper’ – Czech Republic – $1,867,0005th: Mikalai Vaskaboinikau – Belarus – $1,506,0006th: Mikita Badziakouski ‘fish2013’ – Belarus – $1,188,0007th: Konstantin Maslak ‘krakukra’ – Russia – $908,0008th: Xuan Tan ‘tan4321’ – China – $684,0009th: Morten Klein – Norway – $510,000 Preflop:With four players remaining on the final table of a $200,000 buy in Triton Poker tournament, Vladimir Korzinin limps in from the cutoff with A6o. Once the button folds, World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Espen Jørstad completes out of the small blind with Q6o, and Patrik Antonius checks his option from the big blind holding Q8 of diamonds. Flop – 9s 7d 5h:Jørstad is first to act and starts with a check after flopping a gutshot straight draw. Antonius also checks with a gutshot straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. Korzinin bets 300,000 in position with his own straight draw, which only Antonius calls. Turn – TsPatrik Antonius picks up a double belly buster straight draw on the ten of spades turn and decides to check for a second time. Vladimir Korzinin chooses not to double barrel with his draw, as he checks behind and the two poker players head to the river. River – 3h:Antonius is left with just queen-high after bricking his straight draw and opts to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 300,000. Will Korzinin, who has the best hand with ace-high, be able to pick off Antonius’ bluff, or will Korzinin fold and allow Antonius to add to his chip lead? WPH #588: STOP Calling Me A NIT!!!

One thing that poker professionals possess that amateurs often lack is the ability to win pots that shouldn’t be theirs. PokerCoaching owner Jonathan Little finds himself in a multiway pot during the 2025 World Series of Poker Paradise Main Event. Little, Tsugunari Toma, and Derek Gibb all check to the river, seemingly giving up on the pot. However, Toma takes a stab at it with a bet. Will I let Toma win the pot so easily or will I finally prove the YouTube comment warriors wrong and they will finally stop calling me a nit? If you have studied 60 big blind preflop tournament poker using the PeakGTO poker solver, you’ll notice that many hands mix between raising first in or folding. When in middle position, this often includes low and middling suited connectors. The best poker strategy with these hands depends on how aggressive your table is. If there aren’t many 3-bets and players are mostly calling or folding, then adding these hands to your opening range is the right play. However, if you are constantly facing pre-flop aggression then folding these more marginal hands becomes a better option. Jonathan Little ‘FieryJustice’,’Jcardshark’, ‘JonLittle’ is in the top 200 on the all time money list with over $9,400,000 in total live poker earnings. He has 2 World Poker Tour (WPT) titles, both of which were for over $1,000,000. Little has won 1 World Series of Poker (WSOP), which came in the $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout online event, where he won $90,663. He also won the WPT Season VI (2007-2008) Player of the Year award. Jonathan is a 40 year old professional poker player from the U.S.A. He is also the founder of PokerCoaching. Tsugunari Toma is a professional poker player from Japan and has over $3,300,000 in live poker tournament earnings, putting him in the top 800 on poker’s all time money list. Toma’s largest cash of $581,943 came at the 2019 European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague, where he won a €10,300 High Roller event. He is also 2nd on Japan’s all time money list just behind famous Japanese poker player Masashi Oya. Derek Gibb is from Canada and has over $65,000 in live poker tournament earnings. Derek Gibb calls on the button with KQ of clubs, and Tsugunari Toma defends his big blind holding 65 of diamonds. Flop – Ah Kh 7h:Toma checks with his suited connector after entirely missing the monotone flop. Little decides not to continuation bet with his two suited cards, and Gibb checks behind, having flopped best with middle pair and a backdoor broadway straight draw. Turn – 3s:Toma picks up a gutshot straight draw on the turn, but he chooses to check again rather than try to bluff with some equity. Little now has a gutshot of his own but decides to check for a second time. Gibb’s pair of kings are still best, however, he checks behind and the three poker players head to the river. River – Th:A fourth heart in the form of the ten of hearts on the river means that a royal flush is possible. Toma missed his draw and now attempts to win the hand by making a near half pot sized bluff of 26,000. Will Little just toss junk into the muck, or will he try to steal the pot away with a raise! WPH #587: WPH Rampage Poker NEEDS To Get PAID!

Most of Rampage Poker’s vlogs follow him traveling around America, jumping into cash games and poker tournaments where he’s built a reputation for playing big pots and punting in wild spots a little too often! This time, Rampage Poker needs to get paid, so he decides to head across the pond to Europe and Casino Barcelona for some high stakes cash game poker. Rampage finds himself with quads and puts his opponent to the ultimate test for their whole stack. Will his reputation as a punter follow him to Spain and get him paid? Or will his opponent sniff out this value bet and find the discipline to fold? When thinking about your turn bet sizing, typically, you want to use a geometrical bet size. This means choosing a size on the turn that allows you to bet a similar amount on the river, with the end result being that all the chips end up into the middle. Geometrical sizing is often used when you are playing a polarized range, either very strong made hands or total bluffs. To do this effectively, you need to stay balanced, betting in this way with both value hands and bluffs at roughly the right frequency. This will stop your opponents from easily being able to exploit your poker strategy. Ethan Yau, a.k.a Rampage, is a popular YouTuber and poker player. He has over 347,000 subscribers on YouTube and has won over $3,000,000 in tournament earnings, including a $900,000 win in a 2022 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller at the Wynn. Since 2021, Rampage has played on over 93 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,000,000. The poker room at Casino Barcelona is one of Europe’s most popular destinations for live poker. It attracts poker players from around the world for cash games, daily poker tournaments, and major poker festivals. Located inside one of Spain’s top gaming venues, the poker room is home to the prestigious European Poker Tour (EPT Barcelona) and offers a wide range of stakes in No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE), Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), and mixed games. Preflop:Rampage raises to €500 from the cutoff with pocket threes before the villain on the button chooses to 3-bet to €1,700 with what is claimed to be pocket aces. The player in the small blind cold calls, and Rampage also calls with his small pocket pair. Flop – 9c 5c 3s:Rampage’s set mining works out perfectly as he manages to spike bottom set on the flop. The small blind and Rampage check, allowing the villain on the button to make a continuation bet of €2,500. The small blind player folds, but Rampage looks to build a pot with what is likely the best hand by check raising to €7,000. Rampage’s opponent calls and they head to the turn. Turn – Jh:No draws come in on the jack of hearts turn so Rampage continues to show aggression and bets out for €10,000. Rampage’s opponent calls again, and they head to the river. River – 3c:The river card is perfect for Rampage as he improves to the nuts with quad threes, plus the front door flush has come in! Rampage decides to put his opponent all in for €20,000. Will Rampage get paid in full with four of a kind, or will his opponent think that this can’t be a bluff and be able to lay down pocket rockets? WPH #586: Phil Hellmuth In A WORLD of PAIN!!!!!

Everybody loves to see a classic Phil Hellmuth blow up at the poker table. During PokerGO’s No Gamble, No Future, Alan Keating tries his best to wind up Hellmuth by showing him one of his cards on the river. Hellmuth has a set of kings on a very unfavorable runout and has to decide whether Keating’s other card is the nuts or nothing. Phil Hellmuth is in a world of pain, but will he come to the right decision or will we see another epic Hellmuth tirade? When deciding whether or not to bet your hand, it is important to consider the type of opponent you are up against. Against weak passive players, you can bet more often with marginal made hands, since you can comfortably fold when they show aggression. However, if you are facing a loose aggressive opponent who is likely to put you in difficult spots when you bet, it is often better to exercise pot control and check back instead. Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’ has won over $30,700,000 in live poker tournaments putting him in the top 100 on the all time money list. Hellmuth has 17 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets which is currently the most that any poker player has won! Hellmuth is very well known for his antics and outbursts at the poker table which is why he is known as ‘The Poker Brat’. Since 2006, Hellmuth has played on 195 live streamed cash games and has lost over $800,000. Alan Keating is a well known high stakes cash game poker player often playing in the biggest live cash games and private poker games around the world. Since 2019, Alan has played over 51 live streamed cash games and has won over $350,000. No Gamble, No Future is an American poker television program that airs on PokerGO, and premiered on August 1, 2022. The poker show provides cash game-focused entertainment with a variety of stakes and poker players. It has featured players such as Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’, Andrew Robl ‘good2cu’, Eric Persson, Patrick Antonius ‘The Finn’, Matt Berkey, Nik Airball, Rampage Poker, Wolfgang Poker, and Daniel Negreanu ‘DNegs’ ‘KidPoker’. Preflop:Ryan Feldman raises with 76 of spades under the gun to $2,000 with Phil Hellmuth opting to just flat call with pocket kings in the cutoff. Nik Airball calls from the button with 65o before Alan Keating calls out of the small blind holding A7o, with the very key ace of diamonds. Brett Hanks defends the big blind with K8o, and they head to the flop five ways. Flop – Js 8d 4d:Keating checks first with a backdoor flush draw and backdoor straight draw before Hanks fires out $6,000 with second pair. Feldman calls with a gutshot and a backdoor flush draw. Hellmuth calls with his cowboys, which are the second best overpair to the board. Airball folds his gutshot, but Keating calls with what is currently ace high. Turn – 3d:The three of diamonds on the turn brings in the flush. Keating, who holds the nut flush blocker checks, and Hanks chooses to check with his pair of eights. Feldman also checks before Hellmuth slides out a bet of $10,000 with his two kings. Keating calls with his draw to the nuts, but Hanks and Feldman fold. River – Kd:Heads up to the king of diamonds river, as Keating has now improved to the nut flush! Keating puts Hellmuth all in for $57,400, which is just over the size of the pot. While Hellmuth is tanking, Keating shows the seven of clubs. Will this play help Keating to get paid by The Poker Brat, or will the 17 time World Series of Bracelet (WSOP) winner be able to use his white magic and lay down top set? WPH #585: INSANE READ by Phil Hellmuth!!!!

pokerstrategy #pokergo #philhellmuth Every poker player has it on their bucket list to put a bad beat on Phil Hellmuth and send him into one of his famous tirades. However, it could be something as simple as a brutal poker cooler that causes Hellmuth to explode. During a live streamed cash game at the Champions Club in Texas, a dream river card gives Alex a straight flush while improving Hellmuth to an ace high flush. Will the 17 time World Series of Poker bracelet holder get stacked, or will this be an insane read by Phil Hellmuth and will he manage to muster up some white magic and make an epic fold? When you are in position and your opponent makes a large bet, such as a pot sized bet or an overbet, you should very rarely raise. If you are following a game theory optimal (GTO) strategy, the best play is usually to just call. A polarizing bet typically means your opponent has either a very strong hand, a high equity draw or a complete bluff. Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’ has won over $30,400,000 in live poker tournaments putting him in the top 100 on the all time money list. Hellmuth has 17 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets which is currently the most that any poker player has won! Hellmuth is very well known for his antics and outbursts at the poker table which is why he is known as ‘The Poker Brat’. Since 2006, Phil has played over 190 live streamed cash games and has lost over $780,000. Alex Jauregui, who is also known “Alp” is a high-stakes poker player and former poker dealer from America. He frequently participates in some of the highest stakes cash games throughout Texas. Alex has previously stated that he mainly plays Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) cash games, and primarily only plays No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) when he makes appearances on live streams. Alex has over $700,000 in live tournament earnings. His biggest cash of $172,000 came from a 3rd place finish at the 2023 World Poker Tour Lincoln Main Event. The Champions Club Texas High Stakes Cash Game took place on August 8th, 2024, at the Champions Club Texas, Houston, U.S.A. This high-stakes game featured a $5,000 minimum buy-in with $25/$50 blinds and was streamed live by PokerGO. The lineup included Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’, Jason White, Kasey Mills ‘PokerMommaa’, Alexander Wolfgang ‘Wolfgang Poker’, and Randy ‘3Coin’. Commentary was provided by Jeff Platt and Brent Hanks. Preflop:With the $100 straddle on, Phil Hellmuth raises the button to $300 holding AQo with the ace of diamonds. After the small blind & big blind fold, Alex defends his under the gun straddle with the computer hand, Q7o. The two poker players head to the flop Flop – Jd Td 2s:Alex is first to act from out of position and checks with just one overcard, a backdoor straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. Hellmuth chooses not to continuation bet with his gutshot straight draw to broadway, two overcards and a back door flush draw. Turn – 9d:The flush completing 9 of diamonds on the turn improves both players to backdoor draws. Alex leads out for $600 with an open ended straight draw and queen high flush draw. Hellmuth calls with his own open ended straight draw and ace high flush draw. River – Kd:Both players improve on the K of diamonds river, but Alex has the nuts with an unbeatable king high straight flush, the second best hand in poker only just behind a royal flush. He fires out a small bet of $300. Hellmuth may think this card is great for him, but it’s actually the worst card in the deck, as he holds the ace high flush, only losing to straight flushes. Looking for value, he raises to $900 with his flush. Alex then puts in a rare river 3-bet to $5,000 with the nuts, and the action is back on Hellmuth. Will The Poker Brat pay off Alex’s value bet and explode into a tirade, or will he show some of his famous white magic by folding such a strong hand? WPH #584: Can Brad Owen CRACK Pocket Aces?!

#highstakespoker #pokertips #pokervloggerBlind vs blind battles are often the most interesting spots in poker cash games as nobody ever wants to give up on the pot! Can Brad Owen crack pocket aces? Well in this hand he does as the popular poker vlogger manages to spike his combo draw on the river against an opponent in the small blind, who happens to hold pocket aces. Brad fires out an overbet, but will this bet prove to be too greedy, or will his opponent be unable to fold the best starting hand in poker? On low connected flops that favor your range more than your opponents, it’s often a good situation to start betting with your lower flush and straight draws. By doing so, you can fold out many hands that are currently ahead of you. A draw that includes ace high is usually better to check behind since you already have some showdown value. However, with hands like eight-high, nine-high, or ten-high draws, you’re unlikely to be ahead, so betting allows you to apply pressure and potentially get opponents to fold their unpaired overcards. When choosing your bet sizing, it’s generally best to lean toward a larger bet, closer to pot size. This polarized sizing represents either very strong made hands, such as straights and sets, or high equity draws. Using this strategy makes your betting range tougher to play against and maximizes fold equity while still building the pot when you hit your draws. Preflop:From the small blind, the villain raises pocket aces to $200, and only Brad Owen calls out of the big blind with the 95 of spades, also known as the Dolly Parton. Flop – 6s 3s 2d:On the low connected flop, the villain decides not to continuation bet as he checks with the nut overpair to the board. Owen checks behind, having flopped a combo draw, and the two poker players head to a turn. Turn – 3h:A board pairing three of hearts turn sees the villain check again with his pocket rockets, causing Owen to take over the betting lead by firing out a bet of $175 with his straight and flush draws. The villain calls with two aces, and they head to the river. River – 4d:The four of diamonds on the river leaves a possible one liner to a straight. The villain checks again with pocket aces, and Owen, who has improved to a six high straight, fires an overbet of $1,000. Will this polarizing bet prove to be too greedy for Owen, or will his opponent think Owen has a busted flush draw and pay him off? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out what happens! WPH #583: Does Tom Dwan Still Have IT?!

#highstakespoker #pokerstrategy #hustlercasinolive Tom Dwan became a legend during his online poker days on Full Tilt Poker, his fearless and aggressive style was on full display against the best in the world at the highest stakes. Now, he finds himself on the receiving end of some river aggression from businessman Steve Swedlow. Both players have boats, but Swedlow’s is bigger! The question is does Tom Dwan still have it to be able to find the incredible laydown or if this hand will simply go down as one of poker’s classic coolers. When playing poker, whether in cash games or tournaments, it is crucial to be constantly aware of your table image. If you have shown down several bluffs or revealed speculative holdings during the current session or in previous ones, some opponents will take note. You should then look to use that perception to your advantage. If you have demonstrated a tendency to 3-bet bluff on the turn or river, your tablemates may be less inclined to believe you the next time you apply pressure, so next time make sure you do it with value! On the other hand, if your big river bets have consistently been backed by strong hands like the nuts, observant players may start overfolding when you fire large on the river in the future. Against these types of poker players you can use that large sizing with bluffs on the river as they are now folding too much. The key is to stay balanced so you cannot be easily exploited, regardless of how others perceive your play. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state of the art live poker show. Hustler Casino Live looks more like the coverage from a TV broadcast sporting event and appeals to those beyond the poker community. Unscripted and unedited, they host regular poker streams such as ‘Max Pain Monday’ and ‘Thirsty Thursday’. Preflop:Britney limps under the gun with Q8 of diamonds, which causes Tom Dwan to limp behind holding pocket sixes from the hijack. Steve Swedlow completes out of the small blind with T9 of diamonds and Ryan Feldman checks his option holding A7o from the big blind. Flop – Tc 9s 6s:On the wet connected flop, Steve flops top two pair with his suited connector and decides to lead out for $800. Feldman folds his gutshot straight draw before Britney calls with her straight draw and overcard. Dwan raises his bottom set to $3,700, which both Steve and Britney call. Turn – Th:A board pairing ten of hearts on the turn gives Steve the nuts with a boat, tens full of nines. He opts to lead out for a tiny bet of $700 that Britney calls. Dwan, who also improves to an inferior full house, raises to $7,600. Steve chooses to trap with the nuts as he just calls, as Britney wisely folds. River – 7c:Still with the nut full house, Steve fires a min bet of $400 on the 7 of clubs river. Dwan, with sixes full of tens, raises to $14,000 before Steve puts in a rare river 3-bet to $60,400, causing Dwan to go into the tank. Dwan is known for making some of the sickest bluffs during his poker career, but can he also make an amazing hero fold with a boat? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see if he calls or folds! WPH #582: INSANE PLAY By Doug Polk!!!!!!!

highstakespoker #pokerstrategy #thelodge Playing against Doug Polk, one of the best heads-up players in poker history, on his home turf at the Lodge Card Club will always be a daunting task. Alex Spencer stepped up to the challenge but found himself in a brutal river spot holding a set. Polk used the nut flush blocker to put the British Bulldog to the ultimate test for his entire stack. Will Spencer find the hero call, or will he fold and be shown the bluff after an insane play by Doug Polk? On the river, if you have some showdown value, such as second or third pair, usually you should avoid turning your hand into a bluff. However, if checking down means your opponent’s range will often beat you, it can make sense to bluff. Hands that contain the nut flush blocker are good candidates in these spots, as they remove many of the strongest hands from your opponent’s range that would call. Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’ is the owner of The Lodge Card Room along with Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme. Doug has won over $9,500,000 in live poker tournaments and 3 World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, including a win in the 2017 $100k Super High Roller for $1,600,000. Since 2014, he has played over 129 times on live streamed poker cash games and has won over $150,000. Alex Spencer ‘British Bulldog’ is a British professional poker player from Doncaster, England, UK. Spencer is a regular on The Lodge livestream and has over $350,000 in live tournament earnings. Since 2023, he has played over 53 times on live streamed poker cash games and has won over $650,000. Preflop:Josh raises to $250 under the gun with AJo with Doug Polk calling on the button holding A9o, and Alex calling out of the small blind holding pocket fives. Flop – Js 9h 5s:Alex flops best with bottom set and checks first from out of position. Josh fires a continuation bet of $300, having hit top pair top kicker. Doug calls with second pair and a backdoor flush draw before Alex raises his set of fives to $2,000. Josh calls with his pair of jacks, and Doug calls with his pair of nines. Turn – Qs:The Q of spades brings in the front door flush and completes some possible straights. Because of this, Alex decides to check his three fives, and Josh follows suit with a check, as his top pair has now been reduced to second pair. Doug, with the nut flush blocker, now takes the betting lead in the hand and fires out $4,400. Alex calls, but Josh realizes he is probably behind and correctly finds the fold. River – 4d:An innocuous 4 of diamonds on the river doesn’t change anything, and Alex checks. Doug, with third pair, using his ace of spades as a blocker to the nuts, overbets to put Alex all in for his stack of $25,525. Will Doug get this audacious bluff through, or will Alex pick it off and double up? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #581: Has Tony G LOST His MIND??? [$2,000,000 POT!]

tritonpoker #highstakespoker #pokerstrategy While playing on the high stakes Triton Poker invitational cash game, Tony G and Tan Xuan get involved in a monster pot during a straddled hand. This is a pot that could reach over $3,000,000, but the players have absolutely nothing! Ultimately, it will come down to which poker player has the biggest heart. Tony G has often said he has heart at the poker table, but will he prove that in this high stakes poker hand, or has Tony G lost his mind? When deciding whether to bet with a flush draw or straight draw, it is important to consider the showdown value of your actual hand. Betting with a ten-high flush draw is a good poker strategy since it is very unlikely to win at showdown, whereas checking back with an ace-high flush draw can be a stronger play because the ace already provides good showdown value as a high card & beats all of your opponent’s non-paired hands. Antanas Guoga or, more commonly known as Tony G is a Lithuanian-Australian businessman and also a part-time professional poker player. Tony G has played on many live poker streams throughout the years such as: Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker, The Big Game, and many more. He is known for his theatrics at the poker table and over the top celebrations. Tony G Big Mouth Celebrations. His most famous quote is “On Your Bike” when he stacks an opponent. Since 2006, Tony G has played on over 47 live streamed poker cash games and has won over $1,500,000. Tan Xuan is a Chinese businessman from Wuhan. WPH #580: When Will Rampage Poker STOP???

#pokerstrategy #pokervlogger #rampagepokerIt has become a common occurrence to see Rampage Poker, the world famous poker vlogger, punt off his stack in both tournaments and cash games over the past few years. In this hand, during a cash game session at Resorts World Las Vegas, he finds himself playing the board by the river against one of his vlog viewers, who goes by the name Chris. Will Rampage check and accept that the money he already put in the pot is gone, or will he attempt to bluff Chris off his overpair? When your opponent double barrels on a turn card that is better for their range than it is for yours, it is often the moment in the poker hand when you must fold your marginal holdings. This is also true because even if you improve on the river with two pair or trips, you may have already been far behind on the turn and are now forced to call a river bet. That is why it is crucial to recognize which turn cards favor your opponent’s range more than yours, and adjust your poker strategy accordingly when they continue betting on those cards. Ethan Yau, a.k.a Rampage, is a popular YouTuber and poker player. He has over 340,000 subscribers on YouTube and has won over $3,000,000 in tournament earnings, including a $900,000 win in a 2022 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller at the Wynn. Since 2021, Rampage has played on over 84 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,000,000. The Resorts World Las Vegas poker room features 30 poker tables offering a variety of No-Limit Texas Hold’em (NLHE) or Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) cash games and daily poker tournaments. With modern amenities like automatic shufflers, chip runners, USB charging ports, and luxurious seating, this poker room caters to all poker players. Preflop:Chris raises from the hijack to $75 with pocket kings. After the button folds, Rampage calls out of the small blind holding pocket fives. Flop – 9d 6h 6s:Both players improve to two pair on the flop, but Chris’ kings and sixes are ahead of Rampage’s sixes and fives. Rampage checks and Chris decides to make a continuation bet of $100. Rampage calls with his nickels and backdoor straight draw. Turn – Qd:The Q of diamonds turn introduces a backdoor flush draw. Rampage checks for a second time and Chris double barrels for $250 with his overpair to the board. Rampage calls again, perhaps thinking Chris is running a bluff. River – 9c:The double board pairing river leaves Rampage playing the board as his two pair has been counterfeited. So, Rampage tries to represent a full house by leading out for a near pot sized bet of $800. Will Rampage be able to get Chris to fold his cowboys, or will this be another hand to add to the poker vlogger’s list of punts? WPH #578: Was THIS Too MUCH???

highstakespoker #pokerstrategy #thelodge When playing in a high stakes poker cash game for thousands of dollars, people would expect the atmosphere at the poker table to be very serious. But, at the Lodge Card Club in Texas, was this too much as Llama decides to put on the ultimate ‘poker face’ when he flops trips against Trey’s pocket aces. Will Trey be able to make a remarkable fold, or will Llama crack the bullets and be out of line in his celebrations? Preflop, when there’s a 3-bet followed by a cold 4-bet, the 4-bettor typically will have a very strong range. If you believe that they will only 4-bet with premium poker hands, then 5-betting with pocket aces is a great way to make sure all of the money goes in. On the other hand, if you think they might include some bluffs in their cold 4-bet range, then flatting with aces is a strong alternative option. It keeps the stack to pot ratio (SPR) low while also giving them a chance to continue bluffing postflop. Jake Abdalla, better known as “Llama,” is a professional poker player from the United States. Abdalla began his career playing low-stakes heads-up No-Limit Hold’em (HUNL) before transitioning into mixed games, specializing in Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO). Primarily focused on cash games, he has over $490,000 in live poker tournament earnings, with his largest cash of $90,344 coming from a 72nd-place finish in the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Abdalla is now a regular on The Lodge Poker Live stream. Since 2022, Abdalla has played on over 41 live streamed cash games and has lost over $1,000. Trey Brabham is a real estate agent and amateur poker player from the United States. He has over $550,000 in live poker tournament earnings, with his largest cash of $103,212 coming from a 4th-place finish in a $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE) event at the 2018 WSOP. Since 2021, Trey has played over 56 live-streamed cash games and has won over $200,000. Preflop:Trey raises to $100 from the lojack with pocket aces before Florida Bill decides to 3-bet to $250 from the cutoff with pocket tens. After the button and small blind fold, Llama decides to cold 4-bet to $1,605 with Q5 of hearts. Trey slowplays the American Airlines as he just smooth calls. Billy chooses to fold his medium pocket pair and the two poker players head to the flop. Flop – 5d 5s 3s:Llama’s trash poker hand flops best on the low paired board as he improves to trips. He makes a continuation bet of $1,100, which Trey just calls, holding the best overpair, with a backdoor straight draw to the wheel and a backdoor flush draw. Turn – 2d:A few straights come in on the turn, but this doesn’t slow down Llama from being aggressive. He fires a second barrel of $1,800 with three of a kind and the action is on Trey with his two bullets. Will Trey commit all of this stack with aces and shove all in or will he think Llama made a move with a game theory optimal (GTO) hand like ace-five suited? Stay tuned to the end of this crazy poker hand to find out what happens. WPH #577: He TOLD Him His HAND!!! [CRAZY Ending]

highstakespoker #pokerstrategy #hustlercasinolive During a huge straddle on the Hustler Casino Live, Ryan Feldman and Peter get into a huge pot where both players have boats by the river! However, Peter’s boat is bigger! The problem is, he told him his hand, so will Peter’s crazy speech play be enough to get Feldman to call with a worse full house, or will his talking cost him winning a pot of over $100,000? When you’re out of position facing a bet, good bluffing candidates for a check raise include hands like bottom pair with a backdoor flush or straight draw. These poker hands often aren’t strong enough to check call, but check raising gives you a chance to win the pot right away. And if called, you can keep barreling on the turn when you improve to a disguised two pair or trips, or pick up additional equity with your backdoor draw. Ryan Feldman is an American amateur poker player with over $170,000 in live poker tournament earnings. He is the owner and producer of the Hustler Casino Live Stream. Before that, he worked as a producer for another poker live stream – Live At The Bike from 2016 to 2019. Since 2021, Ryan has played over 53 live streamed cash games and has lost over $1,500,000. Peter is a Chinese high stakes poker player and an avid pumpkin eater according to the commentators. He has made multiple appearances on televised cash game shows such as Hustler Casino Live and Bally Poker Live and he is known to want to play any stakes that are on offer. Since 2022, Peter has played on more than 60 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,100,000. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state of the art live poker show. Hustler Casino Live looks more like coverage of a TV broadcast sporting event and appeals to those beyond the poker community. Unscripted and unedited, they host regular poker streams such as ‘Max Pain Monday’ and ‘Thirsty Thursday’. Preflop:With the $800 straddle on, Ryan Feldman calls from the small blind with 92 of diamonds and Peter just completes from the big blind with T4 of hearts. Tom Dwan checks with 64 from the under the gun straddle and the three poker players head to the flop. Flop – Ad Tc 2h:Feldman is first to act from out of position, having flopped bottom pair and a backdoor flush draw. Feldman checks, and Peter bets $2,000 with second pair, a backdoor flush draw and a backdoor straight draw to the wheel. Dwan folds his air before Feldman check raises to $7,000 with his small pair of deuces. Peter calls and they head to the turn. Turn – Ts:The board pairing T of spades on the turn doesn’t improve Feldman to any of his backdoor draws, so he opts to slow down and check. Peter has turned the dream card as he improves to trips. However, he checks behind to try and trap Feldman and they both head to the river. River – 2c:The river gives Feldman a full house, deuces full of tens, but he is crushed by Peter’s better boat with tens full of deuces. Feldman perhaps thinks Peter has an ace as he puts out an overbet of $19,000. Peter raises to $59,000 and Feldman is put in the blender on whether to call or fold. Will Feldman pay to see Peter’s boat? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see what happens. WPH #576: Why Brad Owen Keeps CRUSHING Poker Players!

Every poker player will have a different opinion on what they believe to be the best feeling at the poker table. Some say it’s winning a poker tournament, while others claim it’s successfully executing a huge bluff on the river. However, most players relish in picking off a massive bluff with an insane hero call. During a high stakes cash game at the famous Bobby’s Room in the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, poker vlogger Brad Owen finds himself in a difficult situation. His opponent puts him to the ultimate test on the river with a 3x pot bet! Will this be the time that Brad shows the world why he keeps crushing poker players by picking off the bluff, or will he fold the winning hand and miss his chance? When playing against opponents you perceive as professional, world class poker players, you must assume they have extensively studied game theory optimal (GTO) strategies using poker solvers such as PeakGTO. Expect them to turn hands such as pairs with blockers into bluffs with big, polarizing bets, situations rarely seen in the lower stakes. This is because better poker players understand that overbets force their opponents into tougher decisions by offering worse odds to call with medium strength hands. In these scenarios, you need to be willing to make slightly lighter calls and accept that sometimes you will run into the nuts! Brad Owen is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, he is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 765,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel has had over 175,000,000 views. Primarily a cash game poker player Brad has started playing more live poker tournaments since the start of 2022. His lifetime total live poker tournament winnings are over $990,000. His biggest cash for $152,266 came in December 2023 where he finished 7th in the $50,000 WPT Alpha8, during the WPT World Championship at the Wynn, Las Vegas. Since 2022, Brad has played on over 29 live streamed cash games and has lost over $180,000. The Bellagio poker room is a stylish 7,000 square feet space that houses 40 tables and two high limit areas, the most prominent of which is the Legends Room – an exclusive two-table enclave named to honor poker’s greatest players. This room was previously known as Bobby’s room, named after the legendary poker player Bobby Baldwin. Preflop:In a bomb pot, six players at the poker table put $200 each into the middle and head to the flop with completely random hands. Flop – Jd Th 2d:Brad Owen, seated in the small blind, is first to act with JTo holding a flopped top two pair. He checks, and the action folds around to the villain in the hijack, who decides to bet $300 with a mystery hand. The cutoff calls while the button folds. Brad then opts for a check raise to $2,000 with his two pair. The big blind folds, but the under the gun player cold calls with pocket queens for an overpair and a backdoor straight draw. The initial bettor in the hijack and the cutoff fold, leaving only two players that head to the turn. Turn – 8s:The turn brings in two possible straights, which causes Brad to slow down and check with his jacks and tens for two pair. Brad’s opponent leans on the side of caution and checks behind with his two ladies that have now picked up a backdoor gutshot straight draw. River – Ac:The A of clubs on the river brings in the broadway straight, but it means that the front door flush draw has bricked out. Brad knows his two pair may no longer be the best hand, so he checks for the last time. The under the gun player realizes that his two queens are unlikely to be good after the action on the flop. He decides to turn his hand into a bluff since he blocks both straights by holding two of the queens from the deck. He applies maximum pressure on Brad by putting him all in for $15,325, a bet that is almost three times the size of the pot! Will the OG poker vlogger be able to decipher this huge bluff and make a fantastic hero call, or will Brad lay down the winning hand and forfeit the pot to his opponent? WPH #574: Mariano Poker Gets OWNED!!!He Could Get FIRED For THIS!!!

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #pokergo Jonathan Little and Brock Wilson may both be top poker coaches for PokerCoaching.com and great friends, but at the poker table, that’s just business! During a high-stakes poker tournament at the 2024 PokerGO Tour U.S. Poker Open, Wilson decides to float Little’s flop bet with evil intentions. Those plans come to fruition on the turn when he raises Little’s double barrel with pure air. He could get fired for this! When you’re out of position and bet the flop with a strong, mostly polarized range like top pairs, overpairs and strong draws and your opponent just calls, a blank turn is usually a good situation to continue betting. A medium sized bet of around half pot works well here. The goal is to apply pressure to your opponent’s marginal poker hands, like small or medium pocket pairs and overcards. After the small blind and big blind fold, the two professional poker players head to the flop. Flop – 7c 5d 2c:Little flops best with his suited connector as he hits top pair with a backdoor straight draw and backdoor flush draw. He makes a continuation bet of 60,000 from out of position and Wilson calls with no pair, and just two broadway overcards with a backdoor flush draw. Turn – 2h:A board pairing 2 of hearts on the turn improves Little to two pair, sevens and deuces. He fires a second barrel of 90,000 and is met by a raise to 225,000 from Wilson, who has no pair or draw. Will Little fold against Wilson’s pressure? WPH #573: Mariano Poker Gets OWNED!!!

Even for professional poker players, knowing the best way to extract maximum value from an opponent after flopping the nuts can be difficult. Popular poker vlogger Mariano Poker flops top set during a high stakes cash game at the Lodge Card Club and tries his best to entice JWIN Poker into taking a stab at the pot. However, JWIN does not take the bait and ends up hitting a miracle river. Will Mariano be able to get away from his disguised set, or will he regret slow playing such a monster? On the turn, when you are in position and the stack to pot ratio is small, you need to decide which hands to bluff with and which hands to check. Generally, you should choose hands with lower equity heading to the river, such as gutshot straight draws rather than hands like flush draws. When you face a check shove with hands that have fewer outs to improve, you can fold more comfortably compared to hands that have a strong chance of winning on many river cards. Mariano Grandoli also known as Mariano is an American professional poker player born in Argentina. He regularly features on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He also has a popular poker YouTube channel with over 170,000 subscribers. Since 2021 he has played over 188 live streamed cash games and has won over $2,000,000. Preflop:With an $800 triple straddle on, JWIN raises to $1,800 from the button with T9 of spades. After the small blind folds, Mariano Poker 3-bets to $8,500 with pocket kings from the big blind. Both straddles fold and JWIN calls with his pretty suited connector. Flop – Kc Jh 2h:Mariano flops the nuts with top set and decides to make a small bet of $5,400. JWIN has a gutshot straight draw to the dummy end of the straight so he chooses to call. Turn – 4c:The 4 of clubs on the turn is a complete brick, although it does introduce a second flush draw. Mariano decides to slow down with his set of kings as he checks. JWIN is happy to check behind with his straight draw to realize his equity and they head to the river. River – Qs:The river is disastrous for Mariano as he now has the third nuts, losing to two possible straights. However, he realizes he should be extracting some more value from his three kings, so he fires out a small bet of $3,800. JWIN has hit his miracle on the river, after thinking for a few moments, he decides to shove all in for $22,900 with the second nuts. Will Mariano be able to get away from his flopped monster, or will he end up doubling JWIN up? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to see what the poker vlogger does. WPH #572: Rampage Poker Is CLUELESS!!!

Popular poker vlogger Rampage Poker often finds himself in dicey situations during his cash game sessions, and this high stakes poker hand at the King’s Lounge during the World Series of Poker is no exception. Rampage is involved in a huge pot from out of position with one of the toughest hands in poker to play, pocket jacks! Facing a lot of aggression from his opponent, Rampage Poker is clueless as to what to do next. Will he punt it off with his pair, or will he show the poker world the correct way to play them? When your range is supposed to be stronger than your opponent’s and you face a raise after a continuation bet in a 3-bet pot, you must determine what type of hands your opponent is likely raising with. Are they holding super strong hands like sets and high equity draws or trashy hands such as gutshot straight draws? Some opponents may even have medium strength hands like top pairs. If you believe your opponent’s range consists primarily of strong or trashy hands, then just calling with hands like overpairs is generally the best way to proceed. This way, you are either way ahead and want them to continue bluffing, or you are way behind and can reevaluate on later streets. Ethan Yau, a.k.a Rampage, is a popular YouTuber and poker player. He has over 310,000 subscribers on YouTube and has won over $2,700,000 in live poker tournaments, including a $900,000 win in a 2022 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller at the Wynn. Since 2021, Rampage has played on over 58 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,100,000. The King’s Lounge at Bally’s (now Horseshoe Las Vegas) is an exclusive area for high stakes poker players and VIP guests during the World Series of Poker (WSOP). The villain makes a very small raise to $1,000 and Rampage just calls with his overpair. Turn – 9s:The board pairing 9 of spades on the turn means Rampage is now behind any top pair that took this particular line on the flop. He checks, and the villain continues with their aggression by firing out a bet of $1,500. Will the popular poker vlogger fold, or will he put his foot down and check raise all in for $6,000? WPH #570: Is This The END For Mariano Poker???

Short handed cash games are always destined to produce some insane action. Well, if you add an aggressive poker vlogger like Mariano Poker into the mix, then the chance of something crazy happening seems inevitable. Mariano finds himself with just a gutshot straight draw on the flop, facing a check raise from Charles Yu. Will Mariano be able to lay down seven high, or is this the end for Mariano Poker? Is he about to take a page out of his buddy Rampage Poker’s playbook and punt off almost $100,000? When playing very deep stacked poker and considering a 4-bet preflop, it is advisable to use a suited ace or king. With these cards you will block some of the strongest parts of your opponent’s range, such as pocket aces, pocket kings and ace king. Additionally, when called, these hands often flop top pairs or very strong flush draws, making them easier to navigate postflop. Mariano Grandoli also known as Mariano is an American professional poker player born in Argentina. He regularly features on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He also has a popular poker YouTube channel with over 170,000 subscribers. Since 2021 he has played over 185 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,800,000. Charles Yu is a Chinese poker player and investor who regularly plays on the Hustler Casino Live stream at the highest stakes. Charles has also made appearances on other cash games, such as on High Stakes Poker, Bally Live and World Poker Tour. Since 2021, Charles has played on over 97 live streamed cash games and has won over $750,000. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high-value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state-of-the-art live poker show. Hustler Casino Live looks more like coverage of a TV broadcast sporting event and appeals to those beyond the poker community. Unscripted and unedited, they host regular poker streams such as ‘Max Pain Monday’ and ‘Thirsty Thursday’. Preflop:Playing short handed with just three players at the poker table, Mariano raises from the button with 76 of clubs to $500. After the small blind folds, Charles 3-bets to $2,000 from the big blind with AK of hearts. Mariano 4-bets his suited connector to $5,500, and Charles opts to just call with his premium starting hand, which is already 40% of a royal flush. Flop – 8h 4h 3d:Charles checks after flopping the nut flush draw and two overcards with big slick. Mariano fires a continuation bet of $8,000 with just a gutshot straight draw. Charles takes the most aggressive route with his draw, check raising to $25,000. Will Mariano let go of his weak draw, or will he try to represent a big pocket pair or a draw himself by shoving for Charles’ remaining $64,400? WPH #569: Does Brad Owen HATE Money???

One of the world’s most popular poker vloggers, Brad Owen decided to take a shot at a massive high-stakes cash game in the famous Bobby’s Poker Room inside Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel & Casino. Does Brad Owen hate money though because in this hand, Brad decides to triple barrel bluff against a somewhat loose and splashy opponent. Will Brad get the bluff through or will his opponent catch him with his hand in the cookie jar and leave Brad tilted and stuck for thousands of dollars? When playing very deep stacked poker in cash games or tournaments, you should make your preflop 3-bets and squeezes larger. This forces your opponents into difficult spots preflop and prevents them from getting the right implied pot odds to call. The same applies when you will be playing a poker hand out of position either on the flop, turn, and river. Preflop:Villain 1 raises from under the gun to $200 with K9 of spades and Villain 2 calls from the hijack with a mystery hand. Brad decides to squeeze & 3-bets to $1,400 from the small blind with AQ offsuit. Villain 1 likes his suited king and calls, while Villain 2 folds and they head to the flop. Flop – 8c 5h 3cBrad completely misses the flop and is left with just two overcards and a backdoor straight draw to the wheel. However, he continues his preflop aggression by firing a continuation bet of $1,400. The villain decides to float the flop out of position with his own two overcards and a backdoor straight draw. Turn – Kh:Despite the king of hearts on the turn not improving Brad and leaving him with just one overcard, it is a good card for his overall range. He fires a second barrel of $3,500. The villain has turned the best card in the deck, as he has now made top pair. He calls Brad’s bet, and they head to the river. River – 4c:A few straights come in on the 4 of diamonds river and Brad must decide whether to give up on his bluff or not. He can either check or put his opponent to the ultimate test by shoving all in for their remaining $8,250. What will the OG poker vlogger do? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #568: NO WAY Did Andy Stacks Just Do THIS?!?

Heads up poker is seen by many as the purest form of poker, just two poker players battling it out where there can be only one winner and one loser. During the heads up part of GGPoker’s Game of Gold, Andy Stacks and Josh Arieh battled it out, each vying to crush the other. No way did Andy Stacks just do this after he finds himself with top pair on the river facing a bet from Arieh! Will Tsai make the correct call or do something that shocks his teammates railing backstage? When you are considering betting with a poker hand like middle pair on the flop, it is generally better to bet when your hand is vulnerable to being outdrawn. If you flop a pair of eights on an ace high flop, many overcards on the turn could improve your opponent’s hand. However, the higher your second pair, the less inclined you should be to bet for protection, as fewer turn cards are likely to improve your opponent. Andy Tsai or “Andy Stacks” as he is more commonly known in the poker world is a popular professional poker player originally from Taiwan who currently resides in Los Angeles, United States. Over the last decade, Andy Stacks has established himself as one of the most recognizable poker faces on live poker streams playing regularly on ‘Hustler Casino Live’ and ‘Live At The Bike’. Andy is known for being an ambassador for GGPoker. He has a very calm and quiet demeanor at the poker table and was given his nickname “Andy Stacks” as he always has huge stacks of chips when playing in live cash games. Josh Arieh is a professional poker player from America. He has won over $12,500,000 in live poker tournaments, putting him in the top 150 on the all-time money list. He has 6 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and finished 3rd in the 2004 WSOP Main Event, the year that Greg Raymer ‘Fossilman’ won. Filmed in Seoul, South Korea and hosted by experienced poker broadcaster Ali Nejad, Game of Gold combines high stakes poker with survival reality TV. Over the course of the 12 episodes, the sixteen participants competed across various poker formats, including Sit & Go’s, Heads-Up games, Indian Poker and a standard tournament poker game. The poker players on the show included Daniel Negreanu “KidPoker”, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz “CrownUpGuy”, Kevin Martin, Kyna England, Josh Arieh, Daniel Cates “Jungleman”, Lukas Robinson “RobinPoker”, Nikita Luther, Charlie Carrel “Epiphany77”, Johan Guilbert “YoH ViraL”, Olga Iermolcheva, David Williams, Andy Tsai “Andy Stacks”, Michael Soyza, and Maria Ho. Round 2 was the heads-up team battle part of the show – there were 4 teams with three players on each team. After one match, the losing team would put up their next poker player. After one team had lost 3 matches, they would be eliminated to the losers bracket with the winning team advancing to the winners bracket. The 3 players on the losing team from the losers bracket would be eliminated from the show. The final six players competed in a winner-take-all format Sit & Go (SNG). This was unique as it meant there was no Independent Chip Model (ICM) pressure on any of the poker players. Game of Gold Results1st: Maria Ho – U.S.A – $456,0002nd: Daniel Cates ‘Jungleman’ – U.S.A – $03rd: Johan Guilbert ‘Yoh Viral’ – France – $04th: Fedor Holz ‘CrownUpGuy’ – Germany – $05th: Kyna England – U.S.A – $06th. Josh Arieh – U.S.A – $0 Preflop:Josh Arieh raises to 160,000 with Q8o from the button, which is also the small blind during heads up poker. Andy Stacks calls with A3 of clubs as they head to the flop. Flop – Ad 8d 4d:An ace high monotone hits and Stacks flops best with his suited wheel ace, making top pair with a backdoor straight draw. He checks, and Arieh checks back, opting not to continuation bet with his pair of eights which is currently middle pair. Turn – 2c:Stacks picks up a wheel draw on the 2 of clubs turn. He checks with his pair of aces again and Arieh fires out a delayed continuation bet of 120,000 with his second pair. River – 6s:The 6 of spades changes nothing for either player, and Stacks checks for the last time with top pair and a weak kicker. Arieh bets 300,000, possibly looking to extract some value with second pair, but he doesn’t realize he’s value owning himself. Surely, Stacks will just flick in the call and take down the pot – or will he? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out what Andy Stacks does! WPH #567: A PUNTING Masterclass by Rampage Poker!

The poker stand up game has caused many people to lose thousands of dollars just trying to avoid paying the loser’s tax. Well, this poker hand during a cash game at Resorts World Las Vegas is no different. Rampage Poker and his opponent are the last two players in the game yet to win a hand, all is on the line to not be the ‘loser’! This seems like the perfect opportunity for a punting masterclass by Rampage Poker. However, will Rampage be able to get his opponent to fold fourth pair, or will Rampage’s bluff get picked off? When thinking about bluffing, it is important to incorporate bluffs into all of your lines postflop. Even lines that scream value, such as bet check bet, it is crucial to have both bluffs and value bets in this line so that your range remains balanced. This will stop your opponents from exploiting you by overfolding when you take this line of bet check bet, if you only ever do it with value, since they will know you never bluff in this way. Ethan Yau, a.k.a Rampage, is a popular YouTuber and poker player. He has over 320,000 subscribers on YouTube and has won over $2,800,000 in live poker tournaments, including a $900,000 win in a 2022 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller at the Wynn. With modern amenities like automatic shufflers, chip runners, USB charging ports, and luxurious seating, this poker room caters to all players. The dedicated high stakes poker section offers an exclusive experience, while food delivery and premium cocktail service add to the luxury. Preflop:During the stand up game with Rampage and his opponent being the last players remaining, Rampage decides to raise from the button to $100 with a speculative 74o. The villain in the small blind calls with 87 of hearts and they both head to the flop. Flop – Ks 8d 5s:The villain checks after flopping middle pair with a backdoor straight draw. Rampage decides to put out a continuation bet of $200 with just a gutshot straight draw. The villain calls and they head to the turn. Turn – 9s:The 9 of spades on the turn completes straights and flushes. The villain checks again, having been downgraded to third pair, but now has picked up his own gutshot straight draw. Rampage chooses to fire a second barrel of $450 with his own draw. The villain still doesn’t believe the story Rampage is telling, so he calls and they head to the river. River – Td:The river is the ten of diamonds and the villain checks again with what is now fourth pair. Rampage realizes he has to bluff to avoid losing the stand up game, so he unloads the clip, firing a third and final barrel of $1,200. Will Rampage’s audacious triple barrel bluff get through, or will Rampage’s opponent make the hero call and give Rampage another punt that he can add to his collection? WPH #564: This Is SO AWKWARD!!!!

Some people will never hit a royal flush or even a straight flush throughout their entire career. However, Slick Ric doesn’t need to worry about that as during a cash game on Hustler Casino Live, he manages to river a straight flush against Big John and Dylan. Unfortunately for Big John, he has the ace-high flush and looks destined to get stacked. But will John even realize his hand can be beaten on the river. This is so awkward for him! When playing in multiway pots, it is generally advised to use small bet sizes. No player will often have the full nut or range advantage, so smaller bet sizes allow you to bet with a slightly wider range of poker hands and more frequently. However, in live poker, it can be profitable to deviate from game theory optimal (GTO) poker strategy since you want to build the pot and poker players tend to call more often than they would online. Eric Chang ‘Slick Ric’ is a professional poker player from Texas, USA. He has a successful Instagram page reporting on his poker journey which currently has over 270,000 followers. Chang has over $190,000 in live tournament earnings, with his largest cash of $52,880 coming from a sixth place finish in a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event at the PokerAtlas Tour in Dallas. Chang has been coached by PokerCoaching founder Jonathan Little and the series is available right now to all PokerCoaching.com’s Premium members! All players post a $25 ante in this game, but the player on the button posts $50. Action starts to the left of the button (small blind), and players need to cover the $50 ante to enter the pot. Preflop:While playing the ante game, Dylan calls from the small blind with A9o before Big John raises to $300 out of the big blind holding AKo. Linglin calls from under the gun with KJ of spades as does Slick Ric from under the gun+1 with 76 of hearts. Fadi calls from the button holding JTo, which prompts Dylan to come along, and they head to the flop five ways. Flop – 9h 8h 3h:The monotone flop sees Dylan check first after flopping top pair. Big John decides not to continuation bet with his two overcards and the nut flush draw. Linglin checks with just a backdoor straight draw before Slick Ric puts out a bet of $800, having flopped a flush and an open ended straight flush draw with his suited connector. Fadi folds his open ended straight draw and jack high flush draw, but Dylan calls with just a pair of nines. Big John comes along with the ace high flush draw and Linglin folds. Turn – 5s:The three players see a 5 of spades fall on the turn. Dylan and John check, having not improved as Slick Ric fires out another bet, this time for $2,500 with his flush. Dylan doesn’t believe the story Slick Ric is telling and calls with just one pair. Big John calls with his overcards and heart draw. River – Th:The ten of hearts on the river is disastrous for Big John as he improves to the ace-high flush while Slick Ric hits a ten high straight flush! Dylan checks as his pair of nines is now beaten by a lot of poker hands. Big John checks as well, perhaps wary of monsters under the bed and a possible straight flush. Slick Ric fires out a near pot-sized bet of $11,000 with the second nuts. Dylan quickly folds, and the action is on Big John with just $4,375 remaining in his stack. Will Big John be able to get away from the ace high flush or will he pay to see that he is on the wrong end of a brutal cooler? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #563: Doug Polk Bets $130,000 & He’s SHOCKED!

Facing an overbet when you don’t have the nuts is never a fun situation. Now imagine that overbet is for $130,000! Businessman Bill Perkins had trip aces against Doug Polk on The Lodge Live Stream in a huge pot where the poker pro put Bill in the blender with a gigantic river bet for over 3 times the size of the pot. Will the wealthiest man at the table be able to make the right decision? If you’re going to opt for an overbet on the turn, it’s usually best when the turn card brings in the potential for a lot of draws, like a backdoor flush draw or a backdoor straight draw. You should apply a lot of pressure to your opponents’ holdings and force them to make a mistake if they call as they will be getting the incorrect odds to hit their draw. Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’ is the owner of The Lodge Card Room along with Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme. Doug has over $9,500,000 in live tournament earnings and 3 World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, including a win in the 2017 $100k Super High Roller for $1,600,000. Since 2014 Doug has played on over 100 live streamed cash games and is up over $300,000. Bill Perkins is a hedge fund manager, film producer, and amateur poker player. He plays in some of the highest stakes cash games and tournaments around the world. He has over $5,400,000 in live tournament earnings. Since 2010 Bill has played in over 20 live streamed cash games and is down over $2,000,000. He is in the top ten for biggest losers on live streamed cash games. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen, and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. This exclusive poker club, accessible only to its members, boasts an impressive array of amenities, including over 80 poker tables of cash games and tournaments, operating around-the-clock. Additionally, The Lodge provides an inviting ambiance with 40 large-screen TVs, allowing poker club members to enjoy sports entertainment while playing poker or while relaxing in the cozy waiting area. The live poker stream includes commentary from Skull Mike and Slick Rick, who have been long-time regulars at The Lodge. They provide viewers with strategic insights, complemented by a perfect blend of humor. The Lodge Live Stream has had a variety of different poker players coming to play on stream, these include; Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’, Alex Foxen, Dan Cates ‘Jungleman’, Ben Lamb, Bill Perkins, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Nik Airball. Preflop:With an $800 straddle on, Doug Polk raises to $2,000 from the hijack with A6 of spades. Bulldog calls with KJo from the small blind. Bill Perkins defends from the under-the-gun straddle with A8o, and they head to the flop three-way. Flop – Ad Qs 6c:Bulldog checks first after flopping a gutshot straight draw to broadway. Perkins also checks with his top pair. Polk manages to flop best with top and bottom pair. He fires out a continuation bet of $3,400, and both Bulldog and Bill make the call to see the turn. Turn – 5h:The 5 of hearts on the turn doesn’t change anything in the hand. Bulldog checks with his gutshot straight draw to the nuts. Perkins checks with his pair of aces. Doug continues to fire ou but this time with a huge overbet to the tune of $20,500 with his two pair. Bulldog correctly throws his cards into the muck, but Perkins calls once more and they head to the river. River – Ah:The board-pairing A of hearts on the river is disastrous for Perkins. He improves to trip aces but is behind to the full house of Polk. After Perkins checks Doug decides to bet $132,200 putting Perkins all-in, an overbet of more than two-times the size of the pot. Perkins shows the ace of clubs, but will he end up folding to Doug’s greedy bet, or will he think it is a bluff and pay him off? Stay to the end of this poker video to find out. WPH #562: Phil Hellmuth Is SO LUCKY!!!!!

#pokerstrategy #philhellmuth #pokergoEveryone secretly wants to find a way to stack Phil Hellmuth and send him into massive tilt mode whether it’s with a bad beat or a cooler. Jeff Gross may think he has a chance to stack Hellmuth after picking up pocket kings during Nutcase Ninja’s cash game and facing a 5-bet from The Poker Brat. But after Hellmuth unloads the clip over three streets, will Gross still believe his cowboys are the best hand, or will he believe that Hellmuth is so lucky and had him beat all the way? If you think your opponent’s range is very polarized, meaning they have either a very strong hand or complete air, then you shouldn’t always shove all-in with your stronger hands. You should look to keep the bluffing part of their range in the hand and allow them to punt off as many chips as possible to you! Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’ has over $30,400,000 in live tournament earnings putting him in the top 100 on the all time money list and has 17 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets which is currently the most that any poker player has won! Hellmuth is very well known for his antics and outbursts at the poker table which is why he is known as ‘The Poker Brat’. Since 2006 and from over 191 sessions, Hellmuth has lost over $700,000 on live streamed cash games. Jeff Gross is an American professional poker player with over $3,700,000 in live tournament earnings. His biggest live cash, $414,770, came during the Seminole Hard Rock 2013 Poker Open, in the WPT Alpha8 – $100,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament. Jeff also hosts the Flow Show, a popular podcast on YouTube with over 122,000 subscribers. Since 2015 and from over 4 sessions, Gross has won over $800 on live streamed cash games. This was a special cash game to celebrate the launch of a drink called Nutcase Milk. This is based on the old classic Nesquik Milk which is very popular around the world. The main difference is that Nutcase Milk is a healthier chocolate milk. They claim that it is not only better tasting, it’s better for you. Made with cashews and naturally sweetened with dates and agave. It is gluten-free and dairy-free. The cash game featured Ninja, Phil Hellmuth, Steve Aoki, Nate Hill, Jeff Gross, Joelle Weinand and co-found of Shopify, Daniel Weinand. Preflop:Daniel Weinand raises to $225 from the hijack with 87o and Jeff Gross 3-bets to $700 out of the cutoff holding pocket kings. Phil Hellmuth cold 4-bets from the button with the best starting hand in poker, pocket aces. After the blinds fold, Weinand folds his trash but Gross chooses not to 5-bet his cowboys as he just calls and they head to the flop. Flop – Td Tc 8s:Gross checks his overpair on the flop and Hellmuth puts out a continuation bet of $1,000 with his pocket rockets. Gross just calls with only two outs left in the deck to win this poker hand. Turn – Ts:The ten of spades on the turn improves both players to a full house but it is Hellmuth’s tens full of aces that is currently the best hand. Gross checks again and Hellmuth fires a second barrel, this time for $1,800. Gross calls with his inferior full house as they both head to the river. River – 8h:The 8 of hearts completes all the community cards and leaves a full house on board. Gross checks for the last time with tens full of kings and Hellmuth slides out a bet of $3,000 for less than half the size of the pot. Will Gross be able to produce his own white magic and make an impressive fold, or will he pay off The Poker Brat’s value bet? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see what happens! WPH #561: He SHOCKS Everyone!!!!!!!

#gameofgold #pokerstrategy #ggpokerPlaying poker on a TV table under bright lights with your cards revealed is a daunting challenge for any poker player. Adding a seasoned poker professional like Maria Ho as your opponent makes the situation even more nerve-racking! Lukas Robinson found himself in exactly that spot during GGPoker’s Game of Gold, facing a stare-down from Ho after firing a big river bet with just six high! Will he shock everyone with this audacious bluff, or will Ho sniff it out and pick him off? When you’re on the fence about whether to call or fold with a hand, it’s important to consider the suits of the cards in your hand and how they may block or unblock your opponent’s bluffs. If there’s a flush on the board and you have a weak top pair, holding a card that matches the suit of the potential flush makes calling more profitable if you are following a game theory optimal (GTO) poker strategy, as it reduces the number of flushes your opponent could have. Maria Ho is a professional poker player from America. She has over $5,400,000 in live tournament earnings, putting her in the top 350 on the all-time money list. She is well known for commentating on a wide variety of poker shows including the US Poker Open, Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Masters and the World Series of Poker. Lukas Robinson “RobinPoker” is a professional poker player from England. He has over $50,000 in live tournament earnings. He is known for being the first PokerNews ambassador, a role that sees him streaming online poker on Twitch. He made a name for himself in 2021 when he became the first poker player to stream his poker sessions for over 1,000 hours across 100 consecutive days. The poker players on the show included Daniel Negreanu “KidPoker”, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz “CrownUpGuy”, Kevin Martin, Kyna England, Josh Arieh, Daniel Cates “Jungleman”, Lukas Robinson “RobinPoker”, Nikita Luther ‘HiiiBarbie’, Charlie Carrel “Epiphany77”, Johan Guilbert “YoH ViraL”, Olga Iermolcheva, David Williams, Andy Tsai “Andy Stacks”, Michael Soyza and Maria Ho. In Round 1, a four-tier Sit & Go poker format, each team (spades, diamonds, hearts, and clubs) put a poker player into a separate round of four-handed poker action, with Game of Gold coins on offer for finishing first, second, third, or fourth. The rounds increased in the amount of coins that were offered, until the fourth ‘mystery’ round, where no one knew how many coins were on offer. The team with the least Game of Gold coins at the end of all four Sit & Go’s would be eliminated. The final six players competed in a winner-take-all format Sit & Go (SNG). This was unique as it meant there was no Independent Chip Model (ICM) pressure on any of the poker players. Game of Gold Results1st: Maria Ho – U.S.A – $456,0002nd: Daniel Cates ‘Jungleman’ – U.S.A – $03rd: Johan Guilbert ‘Yoh Viral’ – France – $04th: Fedor Holz ‘CrownUpGuy’ – Germany – $05th: Kyna England – U.S.A – $0 Preflop:After the cutoff and button fold, Maria Ho calls the extra 20,000 from the small blind holding J6o. Lukas Robinson decides to check his option out of the big blind with 65o and they head to the flop. Flop – Jd 7d 2s:Ho flops top pair with a backdoor flush draw and leads out for a minimum bet of 40,000. Robinson floats the flop with just six high, a backdoor straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. Turn – 8d:The flush completes on the 8 of diamonds turn. Ho checks her pair of jacks with a flush draw and Robinson tries to take down the pot with a bet of 80,000 after picking up an open-ended straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. Ho calls as they both make it to the river. River – 7c:A board pairing 7 of clubs falls on the river, keeping Ho ahead with her flopped top pair. She checks, and Robinson, left with a busted straight draw, decides to bluff with a near pot sized bet of 300,000. Will Ho sniff out the bluff and make the correct hero call, or will Robinson’s bet force a fold from the poker legend? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #560: How DIRTY Is THIS??????

pokerstrategy #tritonpoker #highstakespoker During a $125,000 buy-in high stakes poker tournament at the 2024 Triton Poker Series Montenegro. Alex Kulev’s dreams come true when he gets dealt pocket aces on his first hand at the table and PokerCoaching.com coach Chris Brewer decides to 4-bet him. But by the river, Kulev’s pocket rockets are no longer the best hand. How dirty is this? Will the online poker wizard be able to fold the best starting hand in poker? When playing a game theory optimal (GTO) strategy with a very deep stack in tournament poker, pocket aces should rarely be part of your 5-betting range preflop. Aces play better as a trap preflop, therefore you should include them into your 4-bet calling range instead. A hand like pocket kings should fall into your 5-bet for value range, while ace-five suited is typically used as a 5-bet bluff. Chris Brewer is an American professional poker player. He has over $25,100,000 in live tournament earnings putting him in the top 40 on the all-time money list. He has 2 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, one of which came from the 2023 $250,000 buy-in event for $5,293,556. WPH #559: Brad Owen Is In SHOCK!!!!!!!!!

pokerstrategy #pokervlog #bradowen Whether they won or lost, every poker player will remember the biggest pot of their life! When poker vlogger Brad Owen sat down at a high stakes cash game in the Bellagio poker room, he knew he might encounter the largest pot of his poker career – though he probably didn’t expect it to be with queen-six of spades! In this poker hand, on the river, Brad holds the third nuts and faces a pot-sized bet from his opponent. Will he win or lose this unforgettable poker hand? Whatever happens it is certain that Brad Owen is in shock at the outcome of this hand! When playing deep stacked poker, you should generally continuation bet less often from out of position as being in position provides a huge advantage. However, in live poker, where flop raises are less frequent and ranges tend to be wider, continuation betting from out of position often becomes a more viable poker strategy. Brad Owen is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, he is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 758,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel has had over 175,000,000 views. Primarily a cash game poker player Brad has started playing more live poker tournaments since the start of 2022. His lifetime total live poker tournament winnings are over $900,000. His biggest cash for $152,266 came in December 2023 when he finished 7th in the $50,000 WPT Alpha8, during the WPT World Championship at the Wynn, Las Vegas. The Bellagio poker room is a stylish 7,000 square feet space that houses 40 tables and two high-limit areas, the most prominent of which is the Legends Room – an exclusive two-table enclave named to honor poker’s greatest players. This room was previously known as Bobby’s room, named after the legendary poker player Bobby Baldwin. Preflop:Brad Owen raises to $120 from the hijack with Q6 of spades and the villain on the button calls with J2 of spades. After both blinds fold, they both head to the flop. Flop – Ts 4s 2c:Brad flops a flush draw, a backdoor straight draw, and an overcard, so he decides to fire a continuation bet of $200. The button player holds bottom pair with an inferior flush draw and opts to raise to $600. Brad calls and they head to the turn. Turn – 8s:The flush completing 8 of spades on the turn is perfect for Brad, as both players improve to a flush. Brad’s queen-high flush leaves his opponent drawing dead. Brad checks and his opponent fires another bet, this time for $1,300. Brad chooses to slow-play and just calls. River – 5d:The river doesn’t change anything and Brad still has the best hand with the third nuts. He checks again and his opponent goes for value by betting close to a pot-sized bet of $4,000. Will Brad fear a higher flush and just call, or will he raise to extract maximum value from his opponent’s lower flushes or other strong hands? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out what the poker vlogger does! WPH #558: Is This The END For Mariano???

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #pokergo The Lodge Live stream always delivers to its audience a tonne of crazy high stakes poker action. That was no different in this poker hand as popular poker vlogger Mariano and crazy businessman Taras face off against each other. It seems like a relatively innocuous hand until Mariano check-raises the river with top-top. Most players would just fold, but Taras is not like most other poker players! When bluffing, making a small flop bet in relation to the size of the pot encourages your opponent to stick around with poker hands like overcards, gutshots, and backdoor draws. As a result, double barreling becomes a much more lucrative play. On relatively blank turns, you can force your opponent to fold hands that currently beat yours, and it also makes your overcard outs much cleaner when you hit them on the river. Mariano Grandoli also known as Mariano is an American professional poker player born in Argentina. He regularly features on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He also has a popular poker YouTube channel with over 167,000 subscribers. Since 2021, Mariano has played over 178 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,600,000. Taras Bobrovytsky is an amateur poker player living in Texas. He has been a regular at The Lodge for a long time and will play stakes from $5/$10 all the way up to $400/$800. He is known to be very talkative at the table. Since 2022, Taras has played over 24 live streamed cash games and has won over $600,000. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. This exclusive poker club, accessible only to its poker members, boasts an impressive array of amenities, including over 80 poker tables of cash games and tournaments, operating around-the-clock. Preflop:With the $200 straddle on, Mariano raises to $500 from under-the-gun+1 with big slick. Taras 3-bets to $1,500 from the cutoff with QJ of diamonds, and Mariano just calls with ace-king instead of opting for a 4-bet. Flop – 8h 7h 5s:Both players completely miss the low, wet, and connected flop. Only Mariano has a backdoor flush draw. Mariano checks, and Taras makes a continuation bet for $1,000 with just two overs and a backdoor straight draw. Mariano calls with his overcards and backdoor draws, and they both proceed to the turn. Turn – 7s:The board pairing 7 of spades on the turn is intimidating for both players. Mariano checks again, and Taras checks behind. River – Kd:Mariano improves to top pair, a pair of kings, on the river and checks for the last time. Taras, holding only queen high, attempts to represent the king by firing a bet of $2,400. Mariano, however, decides to go for more value as he decides to check-raise to $14,400 with his top pair, top kicker. Now Taras faces a tough decision. Will he fold his suited broadway cards against Mariano’s aggressive line, or will he make a surprising move? Stay tuned to see what happens next! WPH #557: Jungleman On MEGA TILT [Tony G Is RUTHLESS!]

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #pokergo Tony G is a master at getting under his opponents’ skin and sending them on mega tilt. During a huge high-stakes cash game at the Triton Poker Montenegro Series, Tony G flops trips against Dan Cates’ pocket aces. However, can Tony G talk his way to stack the professional poker player and send him on his bike? When you have an overpair to the board on the flop, your decision to play it aggressively or passively should depend on how high your overpair is. Generally, the lower your overpair is, the more inclined you should be to play aggressively, as it is less likely to remain an overpair by the river and requires more protection. Antanas Guoga or, more commonly known as Tony G is a Lithuanian-Australian businessman and also a part-time professional poker player. Tony G has played on many live poker streams throughout the years such as: Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker, The Big Game, and many more. He is known for his theatrics at the table and over the top celebrations. His most famous quote is “On Your Bike” when he stacks an opponent. Dan Cates also known as Jungleman and w00ki3z is a 34 year old from the USA and is regarded by many as one of the best poker players in the world both online and live. He has played in all the high stakes poker cash games around the world for many years. He has over $14,400,000 in live tournament earnings, putting him in the top 100 on the all time money list. He famously won the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) $50,000 Players Championships (regarded as one of the hardest poker tournaments to win) in 2021 and again in 2022. Since 2012, Cates has played in over 68 live cash game streams and is down over $1,450,000. Triton Poker was founded in 2015 by Paul Phua and Richard Yong; their aim was to attract a healthy mixture of recreational poker players and seasoned poker professionals. Part of what makes the Triton Series so special is that it’s open to a wide range of poker players – not just a select few. They envisioned Triton as a series of poker events providing excellent entertainment value for audiences passionate about poker. Some of the most famous poker players to have appeared at Triton events have been Phil Ivey ‘RaiseOnce’, Tom Dwan ‘Durrr’, Patrick Antonius ‘The Finn’, Michael Addamo ‘imluckbox’, Chris Brewer, Jason Koon ‘JAKoon1985’, Tony G, Dan Cates ‘Jungleman’, Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’, Stephen Chidwick ‘stevie444’, Linus Loeliger ‘LLinusLLove’, Isaac Haxton ‘philivey2694’, Mikita Badziakouski ‘fish2013’, Timofey Kuznetsov ‘Trueteller’ and many more. The 2019 Triton Montenegro Series was held at the Maestral Resort and Casino, Montenegro from May 5 – 17 in 2019. It had 10 different poker tournaments with buy-ins from €11,000 up to €110,000 in No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Short-Deck. Preflop:With the €8,000 straddle on, Dan Cates raises to €20,000 from the hijack with pocket aces. The cutoff, button and small blind fold but Tony G calls from the big blind with 54 of clubs as the two of them head to the flop. Flop – 8h 4h 4d:Tony G flops trips and a backdoor straight draw with his suited connector. He decides to donk lead out for €30,000 which Cates calls holding an overpair to the board with his pocket rockets. Turn – Js:The J of spades on the turn doesn’t change anything and Tony G leads out again with three fours this time for €70,000. Cates calls with his American Airlines as they head to the river. River – 3d:The front door flush draw misses on the 3 of diamonds river and Tony G still holds the best hand with three-of-a-kind. He shoves for a pot-sized bet of €251,000. Will Jungleman be sent on his bike and pay off Tony G or will he manage to get away from the best starting hand in poker? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out. WPH #556: The NEW Pocket ACES for Brad Owen!

pokerstrategy #pokervlog #bradowen While playing a cash game at the Lodge Card Club in Texas, Brad Owen found himself up against co-owner Doug Polk and other Lodge Poker regulars. In this particular poker hand, Brad reaches the river with just ace-high in a 3-bet pot and decides to fire a huge bet as a bluff. Will his opponent, Patches, make the hero call, or will Brad successfully pull off another big bluff for his poker vlog? If you are the preflop 3-bettor and the flop is uncoordinated – such as a high card with two low cards – it’s generally a good strategy to continuation bet at a high frequency using a small bet size. In these situations, your opponent will often miss the flop, and a small bet can achieve the same result in generating folds as a larger bet would. Brad Owen is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, he is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 760,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel has had over 175,000,000 views. Primarily a cash game player, Brad has started playing more poker tournaments since the start of 2022. His lifetime total live tournament winnings are over $900,000. His biggest cash for $152,266 came in December 2023 when he came 7th in the $50,000 WPT Alpha8, during the WPT World Championship at the Wynn, Las Vegas. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. Preflop:With the $20 straddle on, a player in the hijack calls before Doug Polk limps in from the cutoff. Patches raises to $100 from the button with an unknown poker hand and Brad Owen decides to 3-bet from the small blind to $425 with the solver approved poker hand, A5 of clubs. The initial limper and Polk fold, but Patches calls in position to see the flop. Flop – Ks 6d 2h:Brad misses the flop completely, holding only an overcard and a backdoor straight draw. Nonetheless, he continues his preflop aggression with a $250 continuation bet. Patches calls and they head to the turn. Turn – Js:The jack of spades on the turn brings a backdoor flush draw. Brad doesn’t improve and decides to slow down by checking. Patches checks back and they head to the river. River – Qh:A broadway card lands on the river, and this time Brad fires a big bet of $1,100 with just ace-high. Will his audacious bluff get through, or will Patches sniff it out and scoop some Bradley dollars? Wilson’s pocket kings turn into a king-high flush, and he faces a value bet from Coleman with the ace-high flush. Will Wilson be able to use his years of poker experience to make the correct laydown? WPH #554: He STUNS Everyone!!!!!!

Being seated at the same poker table with legends such as Daniel Negreanu and Maria Ho would make anyone a little nervous. Now, imagine this happening on Game of Gold, a reality poker TV show, hosted by GGPoker and broadcast to millions all around the world. During this hand on the show, online poker streamer Lucas Robinson finds himself in front of all the cameras, facing a river bet from Maria Ho. Robinson has top pair facing a bet from Ho. He has what feels like a relatively easy call, but will the nerves get to him? When you have a weak top pair and you are out of position, it’s generally not advised to start check-raising and putting a lot of money in the pot. TMost of the time, you are either way ahead and you do not need to worry about being outdrawn, or you’re way behind and have very few outs to make the winning hand. He has over $58,000 in live tournament earnings. He is known for being the first PokerNews ambassador, a role that sees him streaming online poker on Twitch. He rose to fame in 2021 when he became the first poker player to stream his poker sessions for over 1,000 hours across 100 consecutive days. The poker players on the show included Daniel Negreanu “KidPoker”, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz “CrownUpGuy”, Kevin Martin, Kyna England, Josh Arieh, Daniel Cates “Jungleman”, Lukas Robinson “RobinPoker”, Nikita Luther ‘HiiiBarbie’, Charlie Carrel “Epiphany77”, Johan Guilbert “YoH ViraL”, Olga Iermolcheva, David Williams, Andy Tsai “Andy Stacks”, Michael Soyza and Maria Ho. In Round 1, a four-tier Sit & Go poker format, each team (spades, diamonds, hearts, and clubs) put a poker player into a separate round of four-handed poker action, with Game of Gold coins on offer for finishing first, second, third, or fourth. The rounds increased in the amount of coins that were offered, until the fourth ‘mystery’ round, where no-one knew how many coins were on offer. The team with the least Game of Gold coins at the end of all four Sit & Go’s would be eliminated. The final six players competed in a winner-take-all format Sit & Go (SNG). This was unique as it meant there was no Independent Chip Model (ICM) pressure on any of the poker players. Game of Gold Results1st: Maria Ho – U.S.A – $456,0002nd: Daniel Cates ‘Jungleman’ – U.S.A – $03rd: Johan Guilbert ‘Yoh Viral’ – France – $04th: Fedor Holz ‘CrownUpGuy’ – Germany – $05th: Kyna England – U.S.A – $0 Preflop:Lukas Robinson raises from the cutoff to 50,000 with A5o. After the button and small blind fold, Maria Ho defends her big blind with A4 of hearts and the two professional poker players head to the flop. Flop – Ac Ts 6d:With her suited wheel-ace, Ho flops top pair with no backdoor draws. She checks, to which Robinson fires a continuation bet of 40,000 with the same top pair. Ho decides not to raise and just calls as they head to the turn. Turn – Tc:Ho checks again when the board-pairing ten of clubs arrives on the turn. Robinson correctly realizes this card is better for Ho’s range than his, so he chooses to do some pot control and checks behind. River – KhA broadway gutshot straight draw comes in on the K of hearts river. As of now, both players have the same hand with two pair, aces and tens, with a king-kicker. Ho now bets 80,000 and the action is on Robinson. How will the poker streamer react; folding seems out of the option so will he play it safe and just call or do something crazy like raise? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see what he does. WPH #553: Rampage Poker Is So LUCKY!!!!!!

Rampage Poker’s vlogging career has featured everything poker has to offer: bluffs, hero calls, hero folds, punts & more recently losing over a million dollars! This time, while playing at the Lodge Card Club during one of his vlogging sessions, Rampage records himself picking up quads in a huge three-way pot against Bart Hanson and Bones. Can Rampage find a way to extract maximum value with the nuts? Poker players that will often cold call 3-bets will generally have a strong but non nutted range. This includes medium to high pocket pairs, suited broadways and sometimes even ace-king. Against this type of range you should proceed cautiously on a wide variety of flops but also be aware of players that will play very passively postflop. These type of opponents will often fold at a high frequency if they do not drastically improve. Ethan Yau, a.k.a Rampage, is a popular YouTuber and poker player. He has over 310,000 subscribers on YouTube and has won over $2,700,000 in tournament earnings, including a $900,000 win in a 2022 World Poker Tour (WPT) High Roller at the Wynn. Since 2021, Rampage has played on over 57 live streamed cash games and has won over $1,100,000. Bart Hanson is an American professional poker player with over $1,000,000 in live tournament earnings. He primarily specializes in cash games and is the founder of Crush Live Poker, a popular training site that offers valuable content for players looking to improve their live poker game. Casey, a.k.a Bones, is a professional poker player from America, who currently resides in Austin, Texas. Little is known about him apart from that he predominantly plays cash games. Since 2021, Bones has played over 30 live streamed cash games and is currently up over $25,000. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. There is also a Lodge Live Stream that has had a variety of different poker players coming to play on stream, these include; Doug Polk ‘WCGRider’, Alex Foxen, Dan Cates ‘Jungleman’, Ben Lamb, Bill Perkins, Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme and Nik Airball. Preflop:With the $100 straddle on, Bart Hanson raises to $300 from under-the-gun+1. Rampage Poker 3-bets to $1,100 from UTG+2 with pocket queens and Bones cold-calls on the button with pocket jacks. Hanson also decides to call and they head to the flop three-way. Flop – Qd Js 3h:Hanson is first to act and checks to Rampage, who has flopped the current nuts with top set. Rampage puts out a continuation bet of $1,100, and Bones just calls, holding a disastrous middle set with only one out in the deck to make the best hand. Hanson calls as well and they head to the turn. Turn – Qc:The board-pairing queen on the turn improves Rampage to quad queens, while Bones improves to a full house. Hanson checks and Rampage checks, likely hoping his opponents will catch up on the river. Bones, looking for some value with his boat, bets $3,000. Hanson folds and Rampage just calls with his quad queens. River – 5c:The front door straight and flush draws miss with the 5 of clubs on the river. Will Rampage manage to stack Bones with quads over a full house, or will Bones find a way to save some chips? Stay tuned until the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #552: Did Andrew Neeme Just Get OWNED????

#pokerstrategy #thelodgecardclub #pokervloggerAndrew Neeme is the OG when it comes to poker vlogging and his poker strategy is documented in detail throughout his popular YouTube channel. However, those poker vlogs could hurt his win rate during the Lodge Card Club live stream after he flops a boat against T1000, who may have studied Neeme’s game and knows that he tends not to be a punter. So, will the poker vlogger be able to extract the maximum with the virtual nuts? When you are out of position and have a very strong hand, such as top set or a full house on a wet board, this is often a good time to put in a 3-bet on the flop. When playing deep stacked poker from out of position, it is often harder to get all of the money into the middle by the river since the turn will often check through. Andrew Neeme is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas. He is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 195,000 subscribers. Neeme’s YouTube channel has had over 48,000,000 views. Since 2021, Neeme has played on over 28 live streamed cash games and has won over $200,000. T1000 whose real name is John-Christian Templeton is an American poker player who currently resides in Austin, Texas, USA. He’s a regular on The Lodge live stream primarily playing mid-stakes poker and has over $350,000 in live tournament earnings Since 2022, T1000 has played on over 72 live streamed cash games and has lost over $95,000. In early 2022, poker professionals Doug Polk, Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme joined forces to acquire a controlling stake in The Lodge Poker Club & Card Room, which happens to be the largest poker establishment in Austin, Texas. This exclusive poker club, accessible only to its members, boasts an impressive array of amenities, including over 80 poker tables of cash games and tournaments, operating around-the-clock. The live poker stream includes commentary from Skull Mike and Slick Rick, who have been long-time regulars at The Lodge. They provide viewers with strategic insights, complemented by a perfect blend of humor. Preflop:With the $20 straddle on, Kiero limps from under-the-gun+2 with pocket threes and Goob calls from the cutoff holding A8o. T1000 follows with a limp from the button, holding T7 of clubs. Andrew Neeme however, punishes the limpers by raising to $175 with his pocket queens. The small blind and big blind fold, but Shai calls from the under-the-gun straddle with pocket fours. Kiero folds his crabs, and Goob folds the “”dead man’s hand,”” but T1000 calls in position with his suited two-gapper and they head to the flop three-way. Flop – Qh Th Td:Neeme’s pocket queens turn into a full house on the flop, which sees him put out a continuation bet of $150. Shai calls with his underpair, which is virtually drawing dead and can only win by hitting runner-runner quads. Meanwhile, T1000 has flopped trips with just one out in the deck to take the lead. Worried about the flush and straight draws on the board, he raises to $450 to protect his three tens. Neeme, likely licking his chops with the action in front of him, decides to set the trap by smooth-calling. Shai realizes his pocket fours are almost definitely behind and folds, leaving Neeme and T1000 to arrive at the turn heads-up. Turn – 8d:The 8 of diamonds on the turn brings in jack-nine for a possible straight and introduces a second flush draw to the board. Neeme checks and T1000 continues with a bet of $700. Still setting the trap with the virtual nuts, Neeme opts to smooth-call and see a river. River – 5h:The 5 of hearts on the river completes the front-door flush. Neeme, holding a full house, is first to act. Will he check, hoping T1000 will either continue the betting for him or will he lead out himself, aiming to get paid? WPH #551: She’s The NEW QUEEN of Poker!!

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #hustlercasinolive pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #hustlercasinolive Being a world-famous actor like Arden Cho will surely help her maintain the perfect poker face. She needed all her acting skills in this hand as she finds herself heads-up against the 17-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, Phil Hellmuth. Cho gets all her money in with Hellmuth drawing dead on Hustler Casino Live. A classic Hellmuth blowup is surely on the cards next, right? When you decide to 3-bet from out of position, like the small blind versus a button open raise, you generally want to make your re-raise larger because you will be playing the rest of the hand from ‘out of position’ which is the worst position in poker. Being able to act last gives you much more information for you to make your decision. Raising larger also reduces the stack-to-pot ratio which then helps reduce the edge that the in position player will have as the effective stack is now shorter. Phil Hellmuth ‘The Poker Brat’ has over $30,000,000 in live tournament earnings putting him in the top 25 on the all time money list and has 17 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets which is currently the most that any poker player has won! Hellmuth is also well known for his antics and outbursts at the poker table. Since 2006, Phil Hellmuth has played on over 165 live streamed cash games and is down over $570,000. Arden Lim Cho is a 38 year old American actress, singer, and model known for portraying Kira Yukimura in the 2011 MTV television series Teen Wolf and Ingrid Yun in the 2022 Netflix television series Partner Track. She has over $370,000 in live tournament earnings. Arden Cho has played on over 20 live streamed cash games and is down over $22,000. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high-value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high-limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state-of-the-art live poker show. Hustler Casino Live looks more like coverage of a TV broadcast sporting event and appeals to those beyond the poker community. Unscripted and unedited, they host regular poker streams such as ‘Max Pain Monday’ and ‘Thirsty Thursday’. Preflop:Arden Cho raises from the cutoff with pocket fours and Stanley calls with J4 of clubs from the small blind. Phil Hellmuth decides to 3-bet to $1,000 with KQo from the big blind. Cho calls with her sailboats as Stanley decides to fold. They go to the flop heads-up. Flop – Jh 6c 4h:Hellmuth misses the flop and is left with just two overcards and a backdoor straight draw. He continues to be the aggressor in the hand and fires a continuation bet of $1,100. It is a dream flop for Cho as she has flopped bottom set with her low pocket pair. She sets the trap and decides to just call to keep all of Hellmuth’s bluffs in. Turn – Qs:Hellmuth turns top pair with the second-best kicker on the queen of spades turn. He fires a second barrel of $3,000. Cho doesn’t know it, but she has The Poker Brat drawing dead. Will she raise all-in for her remaining $6,900 or just smooth call to let Hellmuth unload the clip on the river? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to find out! WPH #550: The Most INSANE READ Ever????

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #hustlercasinolive Every poker player will have an unforgettable moment when they have made a huge fold at the poker table. However, making huge laydowns because you are afraid of your opponent always having a better hand is not advised! In this poker hand L finds himself with a full house on the river, but unbeknownst to him, he’s way behind Dylan’s higher flopped boat. Will L find himself making the fold of a lifetime or will this poker hand simply go down as another classic cooler? When playing in a deep stacked poker game you should make sure that you try to build a pot with your extremely strong hands. There is no merit in trying to slowplay as it will be difficult to get all of the money in by the river. Look to use big bet sizes or even big raises so that when you get to the river the stack-to-pot ratio is small enough that it makes sense to jam when you have the effective nuts! L is introduced as being a sushi chef who plays regularly on the Hustler Casino Live stream. He has played over 65 live streamed cash games and won over $230,000. Dylan Flashner is an American actor and musician from Los Angeles. Originally from Boston, Dylan pursued his education at Chapman University, where he competed as a collegiate athlete. Since graduating, he has actively engaged in diverse artistic endeavors and has dedicated the past four years to his career as a recording artist. He is regular on the Hustler Casino Live stream having played more than 35 times and has lost over $150,000. Preflop:L raises to $200 from the hijack with QTo. After the cutoff, button and small blind fold, Dylan defends from the big blind with his dominated Q9o. Flop – Qd Qh 9s:Dylan flops a full house, queens full of nines and currently has the nuts. After he checks, L puts out a continuation bet of $200, having flopped trip queens with a ten kicker. Dylan chooses to slow play as he decides to just call as they head to the turn. Turn – 3d:Dylan checks when the 3 of diamonds comes on the turn and surprisingly, L doesn’t fire a second barrel with his three queens, opting to check back. River – 3c:The second board-pairing 3 of clubs on the river is a disaster for L, as he improves to a boat, queens full of threes, but he is still second best to Dylan’s better full house. Dylan decides to try and extract some value, overbetting $1,000. Unsurprisingly, L raises to $5,000, only for Dylan to shove for L’s remaining $7,800. It seems inevitable that L will call and get stacked in this cooler, right? Stay to the end of this poker video to watch how this massive poker cooler plays out!Jonathan Little analyzes live poker hands from TV poker shows such as Poker After Dark, Hustler Casino Live, The Lodge Poker Club & PokerGO. WPH #549: INSANE READ By Mariano!!!!!!!!

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #hustlercasinolive Vlogger-on-vlogger action took place on the Hustler Casino Live stream as Mariano faced off against China’s Eric Poker. Mariano was left with just bottom pair on the river and faced a huge pot-sized bet from Eric. Could Mariano decipher this creative bluff, or would Eric maneuver his way to victory in front of thousands of his and Mariano’s fans watching at home? When an opponent overbets on the turn, they will usually be highly polarized, either holding a very strong made hand, a strong combo draw, or complete air. Raising these bets out of position is not often a good idea. A raise will typically only succeed in folding out the bluffs in their range. These are the types of hands that you want to keep betting when you have value. It will also keep in the strongest parts of their range which may already have you crushed or a lot of outs to improve by the river. Mariano Grandoli, or Mariano as he is more commonly known as is an American professional poker player born in Argentina. He regularly features on the Hustler Casino Live stream but has started to make more of an appearance on The Lodge Card Club stream. He also has a popular poker YouTube channel with over 157,000 subscribers. Since 2021 he has won over $900,000 from live streamed cash games, he is yet to make a name for himself on the poker tournament circuit as he primarily focuses on cash games. Eric is a professional poker player from China, he has a poker YouTube channel with over 40,000 subscribers. The commentator mentions at the start of the stream that the chat has mainly tuned in to see Eric play. This was his first time playing on a tracked live streamed cash game. Hustler Casino Live is a full-scale, high-value poker production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high-limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state-of-the-art live poker show. Preflop:Eric Poker limps in from under-the-gun+1 with T7o. Mariano Poker raises to $400 with Q6 of spades from the hijack. After the cutoff, button, and blinds fold, Eric makes the call, and they head to the flop. Flop – Jd 9s 6h:Eric checks after flopping a gutshot straight draw on the jack-high rainbow board. Mariano flops bottom pair, a backdoor flush draw, a backdoor straight draw, and also has an overcard. He fires out a continuation bet of $300 and Eric calls. Turn – Kd:The K of diamonds on the turn introduces a backdoor flush draw and brings in a possible straight. Eric has now improved to a double-gutter. He checks and Mariano fires an overbet of $2,400 with bottom pair and his own gutshot straight draw. Eric check-raises to $6,500 with his draw and ten-blocker to the nuts. Mariano calls and they head to the river. River – 3d:The backdoor flush draw arrives on the 3 of diamonds river. Eric misses his draw but does have a flush blocker and straight blocker. He fires a bet of $15,000 for just over pot. Mariano only has bottom pair and a straight blocker himself. Can the popular poker vlogger figure this bluff out? WPH #548: MASSIVE MISTAKE Cost Him $500,000!!!!

pokerstrategy #highstakespoker #hustlercasinolive Mistakes at the poker table are bound to happen to both professionals and amateurs alike. However, we all know that some mistakes can be more costly than others, especially if you’re playing in Hustler Casino Live’s 2024 Million Dollar Cash Game! In this poker hand, Thomas spikes a straight on the river and makes the perfect value bet against Steve’s overpair but what you are about to witness next will truly shock you! When you are the preflop raiser and the flop is ten-high and connected, you should recognize that this flop is much better for your opponent’s calling range. A large portion of your opponent’s calling range will consist of hands that connect well with these types of flops. Your response should be to check at a higher frequency on these types of flops both in and out of position. Michael Moncek or “”Texas Mike”” is from Chicago, Illinois, USA. Preflop:Texas Mike raises to $4,000 with Q9 of hearts in the hijack. Tom Dwan calls with pocket fives on the button and Thomas follows suit by calling on the button with 87 offsuit. Steve squeezes with a 3-bet to $22,000 from the small blind holding pocket kings. Alan Keating cold-calls from the big blind with A3 of hearts before Dwan and Thomas also make the call. Flop – Th 9c 4c:Steve chooses not to continuation bet with his overpair, backdoor straight draw and backdoor flush draw. Keating checks as well, holding an overcard, a backdoor flush draw and a backdoor wheel draw. Mike fires out a bet of $56,000 with middle pair, a backdoor straight draw and a backdoor flush draw. Dwan misses his set and decides to fold his low pocket pair, while Thomas calls with his open-ended straight draw and backdoor flush draw. Steve calls with his cowboys as Keating decides to fold and they head to the turn three-way. Turn – 2s:Steve bets $1,000 which is the minimum upon seeing the 2 of spades come on the turn. Mike calls with his second pair and Thomas calls with his open-ender. River – Jh:The jack of hearts on the river propels Thomas into the lead with a jack-high straight. Steve realizes this card favors his opponent’s range more than his, so he opts to check. Mike checks as well, hoping to get to showdown cheaply with his pair of nines. Thomas now looks to extract value from his opponents by firing a half-pot bet of $130,000. Will Steve be able to lay down the cowboys? pokerstrategy #pokervlog #bradowen Brad Owen will play almost any stakes anywhere around the globe and always has his trusty camera with him to vlog the action for his poker fans. In this hand he found himself on the river with quads in a four-way pot at the bestbet Jacksonville poker room. Brad was shocked at the end when one of his opponents had something to give him which wasn’t just his poker chips! When deciding whether to defend the big blind with low-suited connectors, you should fold more often when the raise size is larger than usual and also if the pot is going to be more multi-way postflop. When you make a flush or the bottom end of a straight, you will often run into stronger hands, so do be careful! Brad Owen is a WPT ambassador and co-owner of The Lodge Card Club in Texas, he is a very successful YouTube poker vlogger with over 715,000 subscribers. His YouTube channel has had over 172,000,000 views. Primarily a cash game player Brad has started playing more poker tournaments since the start of 2022. Bestbet Jacksonville is Florida’s largest poker room. It has 70 poker tables and spreads all poker games at all limits. In addition, it offers a beautiful High Limit Poker Room. They have award winning poker dealers and floor staff that will ensure all poker players have a great poker experience. Preflop:Villain 1 limps in for $5 from middle position. Villain 2 then raises to $25 from the cutoff. Villain 3 calls from the button before Brad Owen calls from the big blind with 54 of spades. The original limper from middle position calls, and they head to the flop four-way. Flop – 4h 4c 2dThe low-paired board is perfect for Brad as he flops trips with his suited connector. He checks and sees checks from all three opponents as all four of them head to the turn. Turn – 3dThe 3 of diamonds introduces a backdoor flush draw and gives the poker vlogger an open-ended straight draw to accompany his trip fours. He now leads out for $75 into his three opponents to try and extract some value from potential draws. Surprisingly, he finds calls from all three villains as they head to the river. River – 4dBrad can hardly contain his excitement upon drilling quads on the 4 of diamonds river. Not only does it improve Brad’s hand, but it also brings in the backdoor flush. Brad could still lose to a possible straight flush and potentially claim the bad beat jackpot at the Bestbet Jacksonville poker room. But he can’t be scared of monsters under the bed as he fires out a pot-sized bet of $400. Will Brad’s greedy bet get called by any of his opponents? Watch this entire poker video to find out! WPH #546: Rampage Poker Is A BEAST!!!!!

pokerstrategy #pokervlog #rampagepoker Rampage Poker is best known for his cash game ventures, from micro-stakes to the nosebleeds. But here, he dived into the tournament streets against some of the best poker minds in the world. Left with just ace-high on the river in a huge pot, he had to decide whether to fire a third and final bullet or give up on this huge bluff. What will he do? When 3-betting preflop from out of position, you should make your 3-bet at least four times the initial opener’s raise size. If you make the raise too small, your opponent can always call, getting great odds, and you will end up playing a huge pot out of position against a wider range.
