He encourages the Corinthian church to remember who they are in Christ and to beware of false teaching. Then he writes to Philemon encouraging him to receive his former slave as a brother in Christ since he has accepted the Gospel message. 

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul set sail for Rome to appeal to Caesar. A hurricane comes up and, after 2 weeks, the ship is torn apart. Everyone is able to get to a nearby island. Paul performs miracles, and they stay there for 3 months. Finally, he gets to Rome and is able to preach to many people as he waits to see Caesar.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul defending himself 3 times. The Jews are trying to kill him, and the Romans are finding no fault in him. (sound familiar?)

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul attacked by angry Jews, because Paul claims that God has sent him to the Gentiles. He is arrested, but the Roman commander can't get to the bottom of it. He sends Paul away for Governor Felix to handle the situation.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul setting out for Jerusalem knowing, through the Holy Spirit, that prison and hardships are facing him there. He also brings a young man back from the dead!

Send us Fan MailToday we finish Paul's letter to the Romans. He reminds them to live a holy life, love everyone, try to live at peace with everyone, submit to authority, help those who are weak in the faith, pray for him and stay away from false teachers who come in to deceive you. 

Send us Fan MailToday we continue with Paul's letter to the Roman church. He discusses the Jews vs. Gentiles in regard to salvation through works vs. faith. He emphasizes that God extends grace to ALL who believe in faith, and we have no right to question His plan.

Send us Fan MailToday Paul continues his letter to the Romans. He teaches about the law vs. grace, the beauty of being a slave to God, how to live by the Spirit and the powerful truth of God's unfailing love. 

Send us Fan MailToday we begin Paul's letter to the church in Rome. He warns them not to allow their thoughts to be drawn away from the truth. God will give those people over to their sinful desires. God will judge, but we cannot be judgmental, because we are guilty of the same things until we have a "circumcision of the heart". 

Send us Fan MailToday we finish Paul's second letter to the Corinthians. He reminds them of his authority through Christ and his deep desire for them to keep the true faith. He warns them not to listen to false apostles and to examine themselves to make sure their faith is real. 

Send us Fan MailToday we read the first part of Paul's second letter to the Corinthian church. He focuses on the wonderful new life we have in Christ ... becoming a new creation and living by faith. 

Send us Fan MailToday we finish Paul's first letter to the Corinthians. He speaks a lot about the resurrection of Jesus and the fact that we will also be resurrected when Jesus returns. 

Send us Fan MailToday we read more of Paul's letter to the Corinthians. He addresses Communion, spiritual gifts, the importance of love and the role of women in church. (I should have mentioned that one way to 'test' what a prophet says is to see if it aligns with Scripture. God will never contradict Himself. Also, if you don't understand what was said about women and head coverings, be sure to go back to episode 328.)

Send us Fan MailToday we continue with Paul's letter to the Corinthians. He addresses an issue of sexual immorality in the church and the issue of limiting our own freedoms for the sake of witnessing to others. 

Send us Fan MailToday we read part 1 of Paul's letter to the Corinthians. He addresses their arguments about who they should follow. Paul speaks quite a bit about the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul's second letter to the Thessalonians clarifying the matter of Jesus' return. Paul also goes on a third missionary journey and performs many extraordinary miracles. Others learn that you cannot take lightly the name of Jesus when casting out demons. 

Send us Fan MailToday we read Paul's first letter to the church in Thessalonica. They are doing well, and he is encouraging them to keep up the good work. He also addresses the return of Christ! (I noticed a word misspoken in the recording. When I talk about Jason giving Paul protection, I used the word 'sanctity'. I should have said 'sanctuary'.)

His message is accepted by many, but his is also met with hardship by jealous Jews who have him beaten and thrown into prison, but God is faithful to protect Paul and his companions. (In the recording I noticed when I was talking about circumcision, it sounded like I said, 'It was fake.' I actually said, "It was faith." Just wanted to clarify.)

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul writing to the Galatians reminding them to keep their faith in Jesus - not relying on the law to be good enough to earn salvation. Live by the fruit of the Spirit and beware of those who try to teach another 'gospel'.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Paul (Saul) and Barnabus on the first missionary journey. Many Jews and Gentiles believe, but some Jews are determined to stop them...even to the point of stoning Paul. Paul survives and continues preaching! 

Send us Fan MailToday we see Peter begin to understand that God is including Gentiles in His plan of salvation. The Church is growing, but it is also being persecuted. James, the brother of John, becomes the first martyr from the original 12 disciples. 

Send us Fan MailToday we see Philip miraculously transported after baptizing a new convert. We also see Saul have an encounter with Jesus and become a powerful influence for the Church.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Jesus crucified and buried.* As I was checking the recording, I noticed a mistake in saying that the Sabbath was usually on Thursday. I should have said the Jewish Sabbath was usually on Saturday. 

Send us Fan MailToday we see the final trial of Jesus before Pilate as the Jews are shouting for Jesus' crucifixion. Finally, Pilate washes his hands and hands Jesus over to be crucified.

Send us Fan MailToday we see Jesus praying in agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. We also see Judas' betrayal and the arrest of Jesus. 

Send us Fan MailToday we see Jesus speaking love and encouragement to His disciples before He is to be  crucified. He also prays for US!

Send us Fan MailToday we see the "Last Supper" with Jesus and His disciples. Jesus identifies Judas Iscariot as the betrayer and teaches about humility, His crucifixion and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
