JT breaks down interesting high school soccer matches for the week in Southwest Ohio and talks about FC Cincy's 6-0 win over San Jose and the playoff picture for the Eastern Conference. 

JT looks at the results from last week and how they have created some very interesting standings. The GMC girl's table has six squads with the ability to take first place heading into this week, while the ECC girl's now sees Milford in control of their own destiny after Loveland and Anderson drew over the weekend. Boy's action sees both Mason and Anderson with somewhat comfortable leads in their respective conferences.

JT discusses his Match of the Week and Report Game results, as well as other matches from around the area. He then gets a look at the table and the big matches that are upcoming this week. He also reveals his Match of the Week for this week!

I'm back! I'm returning to the airwaves for the Winged Lions podcast to discuss everything FC Cincinnati! I've moved away from my podcast/blog site of Ohio Sports Gazette because I'm now a part of Chatterbox Sports, which covers high school, collegiate, and professional sports in the greater Cincinnati area. For information on Chatterbox and some of my contributions (both written and broadcast) visit www.chatterboxsports.com.  Alright, I'm discussing some of the moves and news from FC Cincinnati here in December. I will be trying to make a podcast every other Thursday throughout the off season and then probably get more involved with weekly podcasts coming your way during the season. 

MIN 7-1 CIN. A rough outing for FC Cincinnati who gave up seven goals to the Loons of Minnesota United FC. Only consolation is that Emmanuel Ledesma scored and some key pieces will be returning for FCC.

CIN 0-2 LA. The Los Angeles Galaxy found two goals in the first fifteen minutes of the match, but then FC Cincinnati settled in and played very well despite the loss. 

FC Cincinnati host Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the Los Angeles Galaxy, while Columbus Crew SC host struggling Sporting Kansas City. Plus the United States are in action tonight in Cleveland. Lots of soccer action happening across the state of Ohio this weekend!

Lamar Hunt US Open Cup - CIN 2-1 LOU, AET. FC Cincinnati found the opener from Fanendo Adi and the winner in extra time from Kekuta Manneh as they ousted their original USL Championship rival Louisville City FC. I take look at this match and dissect how the final sixteen of the US Open Cup has shaped out. 

NYC 5-2 CIN. FC Cincinnati were rocked on the road against New York City FC. The home side scored five goals and then added two own goals to give the Orange & Blue some sort of consolation. Overall word for this match for FCC fans... oof.

COL 3-1 CIN. FC Cincinnati was delayed in their flight to the Rockies and it got worse from there, as the Colorado Rapids dumped the Orange & Blue to the basement of the MLS.

Columbus Crew SC say farewell to Zack Steffen, Federico Higauin with a home contest. FC Cincinnati travels west to the Rockies with a new General Manager. Plus Scarf Selections for all MLS matches.

CIN 0-2 RBNY. FC Cincinnati were unable to find a goal in a home loss to the New York Red Bulls. Here are my thoughts on the match.

FC Cincinnati hosts New York Red Bulls tonight at Nippert Stadium, while Columbus Crew SC travels west to take on the Colorado Rapids. Both clubs are in big need of all three points! Plus, Scarf Selections for this weekend!

ORL 5-1 CIN. Not a great result for FC Cincinnati, as they lose on the road 5-1 to Orlando City SC.

Reports are coming out that FC Cincinnati President and General Manager Jeff Berding may step aside from the GM role, allowing the club to high a more soccer specific mind to take over in that role and then search for a new head coach. Here are my thoughts on the matter...

CIN 2-1 MTL. FC Cincinnati entered the Yoann Damet era with a bang - scoring two goals and collecting all three points. Here are my thoughts on the match and personnel choices for the Orange & Blue.

FC Cincinnati start the Yoann Damet interim era at home against Montreal Impact at 1pm, while Columbus Crew SC look to build momentum hosting Supporters Shield leaders LAFC tonight at 7:30pm.

Alan Koch out as head coach for FC Cincinnati. Assistant Yoann Damet will take over as interim head coach while the club searches worldwide for the third head coach in four seasons.

SJ 1-0 CIN. FC Cincinnati failed to score a goal in yet another consecutive match, losing to the San Jose Earthquakes.

Both Ohio clubs in action this weekend! Both are on the road. Columbus Crew SC will travel to the nation's capital to take on DC United, while FC Cincinnati will be on the west coast to take on the San Jose Earthquakes. Here is a brief discussion on both teams, as well as our Scarf Selections!

PHI 2-0 CIN. FC Cincinnati lost on the road to Philadelphia Union. My thoughts on the match.

RBNY 1-0 CIN. FC Cincinnati hit the woodwork three times in their one goal defeat at New York Red Bulls. Listen in to my thoughts on the personnel choices by head coach Alan Koch and other post match thoughts.

FC Cincinnati travels to New York Red Bulls, while Columbus Crew SC head to Texas to take on the Houston Dynamo.

CIN 0-3 RSL. Recapping last Friday's match for FC Cincinnati as they fell to visiting Real Salt Lake.

Another weekend of soccer and both Ohio clubs are in action! Check out FC Cincinnati Friday night as they host Real Salt Lake at 7:30 pm, and then tune in for Columbus Crew SC as they host Portland Timbers Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
