RECAP: Season One
Seasons come and Seasons go, but Season One of Jumpingn2life found its way into a Podcast Recap Episode. I have put together some of my favorite clips from each episode in this Recap of Season and hope that you enjoy them. Please look out for a Recap Episode of Season Two and new recorded episodes, which will kick off Season Three. If you are new to Jumpingn2life Podcast, I encourage you to listen to the full length episodes of each Season. And go to Jumpingn2life to support the podcast by purchasing books and show merchandise. There, you will also find a link to begin the search for mental health resources. And don't forget to subscribe to this channel so that you don't miss new episodes when they are posted. Because it takes courage and a willingness to share personal trials and tribulation, literally to the world, it is challenging to book guests who are that comfortable doing so. Thus, episodes are not posted as frequently as you or I would like. But please note, when an episode is posted it's because of those who chose to share their stories with you. So, please applaud those who had agreed to come on Jumpingn2life and support their endeavors. Please review each episode's description for more information on how to support those guests' projects. WARNING: There is commentary regarding suicide in this episode.

Trailer S2E5 The Price Of Forgiveness
Often times the price of forgiveness comes with a heavy emotional cost, but that cost is a price that you don't have to bare alone. Why, because forgivng the wrongdoer doesn't benefit that individual. Forgiveness is a part of the healing process and the first step towards showing God that you too are worthy of His grace and mercy. When we forgive those who are undeserving of our forgiveness we are saying to them, although you physically hurt me or spoke words of despair to me, I know that God will remove me from my current circumstance because I know that He is a just God and that He is with me. Forgiving is not for anyone else’s benefit, but yours. Just as we ask God for His grace and mercy when we do things that are displeasing in His eyes, we must also be willing to give grace and mercy to those whose actions are displeasing to our own eyes. Pastor Freeman speaks truth regarding the difficulty of forgiving, but most importantly he also offers guidance on how to do so in such a way that's palatable; my word not his, lol.

Trailer: S1E6 Defining Masculinity In The 21st Century
What does love have to do with how men view women in the 21st century? Well, it seems to depend on how men and women define masculinity. This episode explores roles that are or were traditionally held by men and whehter they should be occupied by women, even if women are qualified to hold them. There is a great deal of discussions about the term Toxic Masculinity and whether, as the guest in this episode believes is a term that was made up by women to push back against men who have a traditional view of a woman’s place in relationships.

Trailer: S1E3 18 And Clueless
Remember way back then, when you were 18 and thought that you knew how to navigate the world with your new found freedom. Gone were the words I can't wait until I'm grown or 18. But then, reality came creeping onto your island of freedom like a hurricane that's eager to ruin the first taste of freedom that you waited so long to obtain. Reality to you may have been called rent, utilities, FICA, insurance, student loans or tax returns and it may have never looked as uglier as the look on your face when reality reared itself to you. Think about the first time, as an adult that you were faced with a major life decision, which for the first time in your life you had to make on your own. Image all of the thoughts that were going through your mind and the anxiety that those thoughts were causing you at 18. Because that was the time that you realized you were clueless on what to do! This episode chronicles the young life of such an individual. Hear him talk about his first taste of liberation and what caused him to realize too much freedom may not be a good thing, and most importantly what put him back on track to succeed in life. They say age is only a number, but fail to add that experience is what brings wisdom to those who think that they know it all. I’m just saying and so did the young man featured in this episode did too.If you want to support the young man feature in this episode you can do so by going to his website, which is https://kingdomcomegrooming.com. S2E2 Hey - Boundaries Please
Boundaries are good things, right! So why don't people respect them. Is it because we have done a poor job in communicating our boundaries to them or have failed to set the right boundaries, which not only protects us but also those who we interact with. This episode defines and explores the various types of boundaries and most importantly goes indepth into the 10 laws of boundaries. Yes, there are laws or parameters to setting boundaries and understanding them. Living a healthy and peaceful life begins with understanding what you want from it and by communicating to others what makes you feel comfortable and safe in it. So yes, boundaries are a good thing if properly communicated and reinforced in ways that my guest recommends.

Trailer 2nd: 30 vs 60 Life In Parts
Socrates is attributed with writing “the unexamined life is not worth living.” What that means to me is a life not challenged by adversity is a life suffering from malnutrition of the soul. Physical and emotional nourishment comes from growth, which happens in stages. Thus, us living our lives in parts. Understanding that helps us to see beyond the fog of life and into the center of our being where clarity lives. Otherwise, we are doomed to live life in fractured pieces.

S2E1 - 30 vs 60 Life In Parts
Life is NOT like a box of chocolates because chocolates doesn’t get any sweeter with age, as life is supposed to. Fate and experience are often determinative factors to living a sweet life, but both requires the recipient of a sweet life to be a learned individual and not necessarily from books. Socrates is attributed with writing “the unexamined life is not worth living.” What that means to me is a life not challenged by adversity is a life suffering from malnutrition of the soul. Physical and emotional nourishment comes from growth, which happens in stages. Thus, us living our lives in parts.Understanding that helps us to see beyond the fog of life and into the center of our being where clarity lives. Otherwise, we are doomed to live life in fractured pieces. Life is truly a stage, but how we live it depends on fate or experience and only those things can help us make better decisions that will hopefully lead us to our destiny as ordered by our maker. Life at 30 is supposed to be clearer at 60, but sometimes clarity is loss by prioritizing the wrong things, which may lead us to places we rather not go.It takes great courage to share your trials and tribulations to the world, but it also takes a small amount of empathy to want to help others avoid the pitfalls that led to them. Many thanks to my guest on this episode and to the others who had previously appeared and shared their personal stories or opinions about life.Clarification: The reference to 26 subscribers was to my YouTube Channel.
