When Desire Puts on a Witch Hat
Apparently, titties in the water are fine. Put a witch hat on them and suddenly somebody has to save my soul. This week, we’re talking about faith, desire, shame, projection, and what happens when personal conviction turns into public judgment. Why does the same woman become “dangerous” the moment her sexuality is paired with power, mystery, or symbolism somebody was taught to fear? This isn’t about mocking Christianity or telling anyone what to believe. I believe in God. I believe in Jesus. It’s about hypocrisy, personal responsibility, and the long tradition of blaming women for what other people feel when they look at us.Your convictions belong to you, babe. Your choices belong to you. And that is not her spell, it’s your browser history.Pour your Beverage, babes. Let’s go there.

Tell 'Em Something They Don't Know
Why do we work so damn hard to control how other people see us?Some of us polish the truth. Some of us create an entirely different version of it. And some of us drag every skeleton out of the closet, hand it a whiskey, and introduce it to the whole damn room before anybody else gets the chance.Turns out... those might not be as different as they seem. This week, the backroads took me into privacy versus lying, saving face, shame, status, the weird little stories we tell when nobody even fucking asked—and my realization that my own approach to reputation management is basically the ending of 8 Mile.Because maybe hiding everything and showing everything can come from the same very human place:We want some control over how we're seen. But here's the problem...We don't actually get to control that.So pour your whiskey, babes. We're talking skeletons, bullshit, radical honesty, and the imaginary audience we're all apparently performing for.Tell 'Em Something They Don't Know.Stay true to the wild that made you.

The Woman Underneath "Mom"
The Woman Underneath "Mom"Everybody prepares for the baby. The nursery. The car seat. The birth plan. The bottles. The diapers. The seventeen thousand things somebody on the internet swears you absolutely need. And then the baby arrives...and everybody follows the baby. But what happens to the woman who brought them here? This week, the backroads took me into postpartum depression, motherhood, identity, and the tiny ways women can disappear into raising the people they love. We're talking about traumatic births, the pressure to be the endlessly grateful “good mom,” losing yourself one Tuesday at a time, and the strange moment those little shits grow up and you're left wondering who the hell you are now.And yes, we're normalizing occasionally thinking, “Fuck these kids, bro.” 😂Because loving your children more than life itself and occasionally wanting everybody in your house to fuck directly off for twenty minutes can, in fact, coexist.Maybe we don't need to “find ourselves again.”Maybe we need to meet the women we've become.A quick note before listening: I am absolutely not a doctor or mental health professional, and this episode is personal reflection and conversation, not medical advice or a substitute for professional care. Postpartum depression and other mental health struggles are real and can be serious. If something you're experiencing feels bigger than ordinary overwhelm, or you feel like you need professional support, please reach out to a qualified healthcare or mental health professional. You deserve to ask for help.

The High Cost of Having Boobs
Puberty sold us a dream.Reality handed us underwire, boob sweat, sports bras designed by medieval torturers, and a hundred-dollar beige bra that's somehow only almost the right size. This week we're asking the important questions: Why are bras measured in bras that don't fit? Why does every company speak a different bra language? Why does sweat end up in places that make absolutely no sense? And who's brilliant idea was all of this anyway?Ladies, grab a drink. Gentlemen, take notes. This one's for the Big Titty Committee.Pour your whiskey. We're having words.

Well..... That won't matter.
Apparently one person controls gas prices.Apparently everybody's got the answer.Apparently explaining it won't matter anyway. This isn't a political episode. It's a conversation about why we hold onto the stories we already believe, even when life hands us something different.Fair warning: there's Mountain Dew, an imaginary phone call to OPEC, and one very unfortunate story involving a full tank of unleaded.

You Can Leave Without Leaving Yourself
Season 4 | Episode 6: You Can Leave Without Leaving YourselfSeason Finale | Hillbillies & Hood RatsSeason 4 comes to a close with the question that every episode has quietly been asking:Who are you when everything around you changes? This week we're talking about the identities we inherit, the ones we outgrow, and the courage it takes to leave a place, a relationship, or a version of yourself without losing the person you've always been underneath it all. From generational patterns to hometowns, careers, grief, growth, and the quiet work of deciding what you'll carry forward, this episode brings the entire season full circle.Because the goal was never to forget where you came from. The goal was to remember that where you came from doesn't get the final say in who you become. As always, this episode isn't about one person, one relationship, or one gender. It's a conversation about patterns, perspectives, and the complicated ways love, fear, identity, and growth intersect. Take what resonates, leave what doesn't, and remember, you know your story better than I ever could.Pour your whiskey, babes. One last ride down the back road.🎙️ Season 4 Finale

Growing Together or Getting Left Behind
Season 4 | Episode 5: Growing Together or Getting Left BehindThe Love That Wanted You SmallerWhat happens when one person starts becoming more... and the other one flinches? This week we're talking about the kind of insecurity that looks an awful lot like love. The kind that doesn't ask you to leave, it asks you to shrink. From the sandbox to adulthood, we're unpacking the difference between loving someone and wanting to possess them, why growth can feel threatening, and what happens when one person's fear quietly becomes another person's responsibility. This isn't about villains. It's about choices.Because the people who truly love you won't always understand your growth, but they'll decide whether they're willing to grow beside you.As always, this episode isn't about one person, one relationship, or one gender. It's a conversation about patterns, perspectives, and the complicated ways love, fear, and growth intersect. Take what resonates, leave what doesn't, and remember, you know your story better than I ever could.Pour your whiskey, babes. Let's have the conversation.🎙️ Hillbillies & Hood Rats | Season 4

Between the Whisper and the Truth
Everybody knows the saying, but how often do we stop to question what it truly means? In a world where gossip flows as freely as the whiskey in small-town bars, we often find ourselves trapped in a web of assumptions and judgments about others. In this blog post, we’ll explore the fascinating dynamics of small-town life, the complexity of human relationships, and how societal labels can distort our understanding of what’s happening behind closed doors.

The Beautiful Waste
Ever notice how the things that got certain women called trashy for decades are now a whole aesthetic moment? This episode we're talking about the vibe economy, what people are actually buying when they buy working class cool, and why Trailer Trash Tammy was never actually the joke. Nobody's the villain here. Everybody's just chasing the same thing through different doors. And sometimes — I cannot stress this enough — the same husband.

Trailer Court to Surplus
This week we're talking about the whiplash of crossing over. The WIC aisle and the hundred dollar bill for a gallon of milk. The hide-a-bed with three siblings and the queen sized waterbed. The fights in the front yard and the fights behind walls thick enough to absorb them. Same mess. Different address. Because here's what nobody tells you when the circumstances change — the dysfunction doesn't disappear when the house gets bigger. And the woman who's lived on both sides of that line sees things the people who only lived one side never will. This one's personal. And it's honest. Come take a ride.

Don't throw that away... Someone might need that
This season is called Hillbillies & Hood Rats and Episode 1 sets the whole thing up. We're talking about the word "trashy," who invented it, who it was designed for, and why the things society told certain women to be ashamed of were actually the most powerful things about them. This one isn't sad. It isn't a trauma dump. It's a reclamation. Grab your coffee, get in the truck, and let's go.

The Other Woman Didn’t Owe Me Shit
This season started with blame. Then we dug into betrayal, public humiliation, revenge, performative healing, self honesty, and the terrifying reality that sometimes the hardest person to tell the truth to is yourself. And somewhere along the road… I realized I wasn’t just talking about ideas.I was talking about my own life.In this Season 3 finale, I tell the full story , the broken marriage, the revenge affair, the chaos, the years spent carrying bitterness like it was part of my identity, and the quiet moment I realized:The other woman didn’t owe me shit.Neither did the past. This episode is about the weight we carry after heartbreak. The addiction to wildness. The fear of being alone. The exhausting habit of building identities around wounds. But more than anything? It’s about the terrifying work of figuring out who the fuck you actually are once you stop blaming everyone else for your pain.Raw. Honest. A little reckless.Very Wyoming backroad coded. And somewhere in all of it is the truth that finally set me free:You are not ruined. You are becoming. What’s meant to be will always find her way. 🖤🎙️ New episodes Sundays at 5 PM.Disclaimer: I’m not a therapist, psychologist, or life coach. I’m just a woman with a microphone telling the truth the best I know how. K.B. Boudoir & Backroads

You Know....... But Do You Though?
You know that thing where you already know — but you don't quite let yourself know know?Yeah. That's this episode. We're talking about why we stay too long, love the idea of someone instead of the reality, and call it loyalty when it's actually just fear wearing a really convincing costume. No villains. No victims. Just the uncomfortable truth most of us have been sitting with a lot longer than we'd like to admit.20 minutes. Grab a drink. You know. But do you though? 🖤

Making Them Famous: The Facebook Meltdown- A Case Study
Someone laid all of their shit bare on Facebook. 107 comments. A homewrecker callout. And one woman who responded with more grace than any of us would have. This week we're dissecting the public meltdown — who it serves, who it hurts, and whether making them famous actually does anything at all. Protect your peace. Tell the truth. Saddle up buttercup.

The Other Woman Didn't Owe You Shit
Cheating, betrayal, emotional neglect, desire, projection, shame, relationship dynamics, and why women always seem to carry the moral weight of situations they didn’t build alone.Episode 5 dives into infidelity, hidden relationship dynamics, emotional loneliness, open relationships, desire, shame, and the uncomfortable truth that most people have absolutely no idea what happens behind closed doors.Because relationships are rarely as simple as people want them to be.And over here?We don’t do cardboard villains and paper thin victims. We do honesty.

“Are You Okay?” (And Other Ways to Disarm People)
Not everyone comes at you politely. Some people are passive aggressive. Some people are just straight up mean. And most of the time? They’re expecting a reaction. In Episode 4, we’re talking about how to handle people without matching their energy because sometimes the strongest move isn’t louder…From “Are you okay?” to “What do you mean by that?” This one is short, direct, and actually usable in real life.Because you don’t have to match energy…it’s sharper, you can shift it.Disclaimer: I’m not a therapist, not a behavioral specialist, not licensed in any of that… though I did used to do hair 😏 , this is based on personal experience, perspective, and observation, not clinical advice.

Bless Your Heart ! But Make It Honest
Passive aggression gets a bad reputation, but let’s be honest… there’s an art to it.The “I love that for you.”The “you’re so confident.”The perfectly timed, sugar-sweet comment that doesn’t quite land the way it sounds. In Episode 3 of Season 3, we’re talking passive aggression, subtle shade, fake nice, and the difference between being kind… and being honest.Because not everything said sweetly is kind and not everything direct is cruel. This one dives into communication, social dynamics, and why I’d rather just say the damn thing out loud than sit there decoding what someone meant. If it’s shade… at least make it goodDisclaimer: This podcast is based on personal experience, perspective, observation, and opinion. I’m not a therapist, not a psychologist, and not here to diagnose anybody this is conversation, not clinical advice.

You Think You’re Better Than Us
“You think you’re better than us” gets thrown around like an insult, but most of the time, it’s not about arrogance.Episode 2 dives into misalignment, growth, projection, and what happens when you stop shrinking to fit spaces you’ve outgrown.Because sometimes it’s not about being better…you just don’t line up anymore.Disclaimer: This podcast is based on personal experience, perspective, observation, and opinion. I’m not a therapist, not a psychologist, and not here to diagnose anybody — this is conversation, not clinical advice.

Projection Is a Hell of a Drug
Sometimes what people say about you has very little to do with you, and everything to do with what they can’t face in themselves. In the first episode of Season 3, we’re diving into projection, emotional chaos, victimhood, compassion, healing, and the hard truth that not everyone wants peace. Some people want attention. Some people want sympathy. And some people? They just want company in their misery. This episode is a real conversation about what happens when pain goes unchecked, when patterns become personality, and when other people’s unresolved shit lands in your lap. We’re talking compassion without coddling, empathy without self-abandonment, and the kind of peace that comes from realizing not everything thrown at you actually belongs to you.Because sometimes the healthiest thing you can do…is let people sit with their own reflection.Just a quick reminder: I’m not a therapist, psychologist, or licensed mental health professional. This podcast is based on personal experience, perspective, observation, and opinion not professional mental health advice. If you need support, please seek a qualified professional.

Triggered, Tangled & Telling the Truth Anyway
This episode… went a little off the rails. What started as a conversation about podcasting and self-discovery quickly turned into something way more wild; body image, insecurities, high school experiences, bullying, opinions we probably weren’t supposed to say out loud, and the kind of honesty that doesn’t come with a filter.Stephanie definitely went rogue…but somewhere in the middle of the chaos, we found something real. This episode is messy, unfiltered, a little controversial, and unexpectedly honest.Because sometimes growth doesn’t look polished.Sometimes it looks like saying the things you weren’t supposed to… and figuring yourself out anyway.

Spicy, Seen & Slightly Triggered
What starts as “just posting spicy content” turns into something way deeper. In this episode, we talk about what it really feels like to put yourself out there, to be seen, judged, desired, misunderstood, and still keep showing up anyway. We get into the confidence highs, the insecurity spirals, relationship dynamics, social media pressure, and how photography, ambassadorship, and community can become part of your healing and self-discovery.It’s about confidence, insecurity, visibility, growth… and learning how to hold your power while you figure yourself out in real time.Because sometimes being “that girl” online still comes with a few internal plot twists.

Confidence & Cracks in the Armor
In this episode of Backroads, Bare Naked & Becoming, Jenna and I step into a conversation that goes far deeper than photography. We talk about confidence the kind people see on the outside and the insecurities that can quietly live underneath it. Jenna opens up about how her strong personality can sometimes be read as aggressive, and what it’s like navigating the balance between owning who you are and understanding how the world perceives you. What starts as a conversation about presence, professionalism, and sexuality quickly becomes something more vulnerable. As the walls come down, we explore the emotional side of confidence the moments when the armor cracks and the real, human pieces show through.Because confidence isn’t the absence of insecurity.Sometimes it’s the courage to let people see the cracks too.

Boundaries & Rope: Stepping Into Our First Shibari Shoot
In this episode of Backroads, Bare Naked & Becoming, we step into a conversation about Shibari — the Japanese art of rope bondage — and the deeper layers most people never see. Before the rope ever touches skin, there are conversations about trust, safety, communication, and boundaries. What does it actually take to prepare for a Shibari shoot? What fears come up? What does surrender really mean when it’s chosen, intentional, and rooted in respect? This episode pulls back the curtain on the planning, emotions, and trust required before stepping into something so vulnerable and powerful.Because Shibari isn’t just about rope. It’s about connection, control, release, and the courage to be seen.Join us as we talk openly about stepping into our first Shibari shoot, navigating boundaries, and the transformation that can happen when art, trust, and vulnerability intersect.

The Journey Back To Yourself
In this conversation, Jackie shares what it really looks like to rediscover yourself while navigating the expectations of professionalism, identity, and self-expression.From questioning what we’re “supposed” to be to learning how to show up authentically, this episode explores the quiet but powerful journey of becoming comfortable in your own skin. It’s about growth, courage, and the freedom that comes when you stop shrinking yourself to fit someone else’s version of success.

The Woman Beneath “Just Mom”
Motherhood is beautiful. And exhausting. And identity-shifting in ways no one prepares you for.In this episode, we talk about the messy middle — mental health, caregiver burnout, rediscovering self-care, and the quiet question so many women carry:Who am I now?Because becoming a mother shouldn’t mean disappearing.

Lace, Confidence & Social Media: A Woman Learning Herself
In this episode, the Goddess of Becoming shares what it felt like to step in front of the camera for the first time learning what flatters her body, discovering she loves lace, and navigating what it means to show up online in a small town. Confidence doesn’t happen overnight. Sometimes it starts with curiosity… and a little lace.

Intelligence, Sexuality, and the Cost of Making Others Comfortable
Why are we still expected to choose?Between being intelligent or embodied.Professional or sensual.Respected or visible. This episode examines the cultural discomfort that arises when intelligence and sexuality coexist — and why women are so often asked to separate parts of themselves in order to be taken seriously. From old Hollywood punchlines to 90s rom-com “makeovers,” we unpack how respectability became tied to self-containment, why “selling intelligence” is considered acceptable while embodiment is not, and what it costs women to keep others comfortable. This isn’t about provocation. It’s about integration. You don’t owe anyone comfort at the expense of your wholeness. This episode explores cultural narratives around gender, professionalism, and embodiment. It is an examination of systems and social expectations, not commentary on individual behavior.

Professional Does Not Mean Pure
What does it actually mean to be professional?Somewhere along the way, professionalism got confused with purity—as if credibility requires being contained, neutral, or disconnected from being human. In this episode, we talk about the difference between behavior and existence, why “appropriate” has been weaponized to police bodies instead of protect boundaries, and how secrecy not desire creates most public scandals. From real estate, appearance policing, to power dynamics, this conversation invites a more honest, adult understanding of professionalism one rooted in consent, context, ethics, and clarity instead of shame.Professional does not mean pure.It means responsible, aware, and human.Just a quick note, any public figures mentioned are referenced only as cultural context. This conversation isn’t about gossip or accusations it’s about systems, standards, and how we define professionalism.

This was never just about photography
This episode came from a moment of clarity.A recent experience in the Wyoming desert confirmed something I’ve felt for a long time:my work was never meant to fit neatly inside the label of “just boudoir.”Four women familiar with each other, but not fully connected stepped into an environment with no comfort, no performance, and nowhere to hide. What emerged wasn’t a photoshoot, but an experience rooted in presence, embodiment, and quiet power. This episode isn’t about images. It’s about what happens when performance falls away. When women stop posing and start inhabiting their bodies. When connection continues even after the container dissolves. If you’ve been feeling drawn toward something deeper, less polished, and more honest this is for you.Trust the backroads, babe. They usually know where they’re taking you.

Slut Shaming & the Fear of a Woman Awake in Her Body
Disclaimer: This episode discusses sexuality, autonomy, and social double standards and does not promote infidelity, dishonesty, or harm.Slut shaming has never been about sex. It’s about fear , fear of autonomy, fear of honesty, fear of women who are fully present in their bodies and unapologetic about it.In this episode, we unpack why female desire still makes people uncomfortable in 2026, how shame is used as a tool of control, and why women who refuse to shrink are so often punished for their truth. This is a conversation about sexuality, integrity, double standards, and the quiet power of a woman who knows herself not to provoke, but to name what’s been avoided for far too long.If this episode unsettles you, challenges you, or lingers longer than expected, that may be the point.

Between Wanting and Becoming
This year didn’t arrive quietly. It cracked things open.In this bridge episode, we sit in the space between who you were and who you’re becoming where desire sharpens, old narratives fall apart, and clarity hasn’t arrived yet… but truth has. This isn’t about permission. It’s not about performance. And it’s not about being chosen. It’s about listening to the parts of you that won’t stay quiet anymore. As the podcast begins its shift into weekly episodes, this conversation sets the tone: deeper, darker, more honest — and far less polished. If this year has already felt wild, unsettling, or strangely awakening…This podcast reflects personal experiences, perspectives, and observations. It is intended for reflection and conversation and is not medical, legal, or therapeutic advice.Take what resonates, leave what doesn’t, and always take care of you Babe. You might just be in the in-between.

Where do we go from here?
Five episodes in, it felt right to pause not to stop, but to ground. In this episode, I reflect on what we’ve uncovered so far: the nerves, the transformation, desire without apology, and the quiet moments that matter just as much as the loud ones. This is a conversation about intention why this space exists, who it’s for, and where we’re headed next.As this podcast shifts into a weekly rhythm, this episode isn’t a cliffhanger it’s an invitation. A reminder that growth doesn’t come from constant intensity, but from showing up consistently, honestly, and without pretending to have it all figured out.If you’ve been listening from the beginning, this one ties it together. If you’re new, this is a good place to land.New episodes drop weekly.

Desire without apology
Desire is often treated like something dangerous something to hide, suppress, or judge. Especially when it comes to sexuality, curiosity, and personal interests, societal norms tend to push everything to extremes, leaving little room to simply be.In this episode of KB Boudoir & Backroads, we explore how fear and judgment both external and internal shape the way we view ourselves. When desire is silenced or shamed, communication breaks down and drama fills the gaps. But when we stay honest with ourselves and practice open, respectful communication with others, everything tends to soften.

The self love reveal
The reveal is where everything shifts. In this episode, we talk about the moment clients see their boudoir photos for the first time the disbelief, the emotion, the “I can’t believe that’s me” reaction.Yes, partners may love the photos.Yes, attention can feel powerful and if that lights you up, embrace it.But boudoir isn’t for anyone else. It’s about whether you love them. It’s about seeing yourself clearly, reclaiming your body, and owning your power without apology.Because once you see you….You never unsee you!
