Hour 2:  Kap & J. Hood discussed QB Brendan Sorsby will leave Texas Tech and enter the NFL supplementary draft after the Big 12 filed legal action against the school. Would you draft him on your team? The Chicago Bulls hire Tiago Splitter as their next head coach. Splitter, formerly the interim head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, is taking over to lead a new era for the franchise following the departure of Billy Donovan.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs salvaged a win in walk-off fashion, again, and PCA hit for the cycle. Is there any doubt remaining that he is the best player in Chicago? He’s been incredible for 2 months.  So why isn’t he getting any All-Star votes? He checked in 14th of all outfielders in the National League in voting… Is this a sign of how furious Cubs fan is with the team?

Hour 2:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs won a series finally in San Francisco, but they have a lot of work to do to prove they belong among the best in baseball. What will it take for you to believe this team can win a World Series, or are you resigned to believing they can't? Knicks fans burned the city down after the Knick won the NBA Finals. 

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox will not stop winning, and they have more than survived this gauntlet; they've mostly dominated the two best teams in the sport.  How far are you willing to go with this team? The White Sox will: Make the Playoffs, Win the Division, Win the AL Pennant, Win the World Series. Those are your options.

Hood discussed the Cubs salvaged the series and avoided the sweep in Colorado, and now travel to San Francisco, but with the Dodgers in town and the Sox staying the best story in the sport, does anyone care? Are Cubs fans more into the Sox/Dodgers series (all 3 games north of 36,000 tickets sold!) than Cubs/Giants?

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears offseason.  Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox are now in 1st place in the AL Central beating the Braves again 2-1, the Cubs are so broken and may not be fixable!  Losing again to the Rockies. 

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox who beat the Braves AGAIN 2-1 and now are in 1st place in the AL Central. They are all alone at the top, after yet another gutty win, and they took the series from the Braves... When will you start to believe they are really going to do this and hang a division banner? The Cubs Ace Shota Imanaga shoved at Coors Field, as we all expected. Yet, the Cubs have only mustered 1 run and even a win wouldn't be all that inspiring with how this offense continues to scuffle along..

Hood discussed should the Cubs be seriously considering moving on from Craig Counsell?  How much faith do you really have that they are going to snap out of this and save the season? Everything is slipping away, but what if they just aren't very good? If they do lose tonight, they'll be 14-23 outside of the 3 10-game streaks.

Hood discussed Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is currently allowed to play after a Texas district judge granted him a temporary injunction against the NCAA, which had initially ruled him permanently ineligible for gambling. Sorsby admitted to placing thousands of wagers totaling at least $90,000, including bets on his own team.  

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox and Cubs.  Both teams had the day off, and a look at the metrics shows the Cubs and Sox are virtually identical over the full season in offensive production, tying for 6th in the league by WRC+... Which lineup would you rather have?  Is the Cubs series in Colorado a must win, or is it still too early to say that?

Hour 2:  MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.    Kap & J. Hood remembers Chicago Bulls broadcaster Stacey King, who died Sunday at the age of 59. The Cubs season is absolutely insane; the story of the game came in the 2nd inning. The bad news is another SP is gone down; the good news is Cubs fans didn't have to watch Jameson Taillon pitch.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood remembers Chicago Bulls broadcaster Stacey King, who died Sunday at the age of 59, the team announced in a statement. A three-time NBA champion during the first half of the 1990s Bulls dynasty, King was a beloved member of the Bulls organization who provided color commentary for the team’s local broadcast affiliate moving from CSN Chicago to NBC Sports Chicago and finally CHSN for the last two decades.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs finally get a win!   PCA just standing there after the ball got over his head? That seemed to have pissed a lot of people off. That's baseball.  But... He's the hero! That 9th inning should be a wakeup call to show just how great that offense can be! Dansby gets right, and PCA comes through. The Cubs and the Sox are both about to embark on a completely different month of June..

How hot will Jed Hoyer's seat be if the Cubs fail to make the playoffs? There is a lot of sunk money on this roster... If I told you one team in town will make their LCS, would you be more confident that it is the Cubs or the White Sox?

Hood discussed the Chicago Cubs lose again 2-1 to the A's.  Is the losing because of a catastrophic collapse in both pitching and hitting?  The losing has dragged the team into a multi-game losing streak. This drastic slump is historically frustrating, marking a severe turnaround after the team had previously built a massive early-season lead in the NL Central.

Hour 2:  Kap & Tyler discussed that Kap hasn't ever cut grass, used a Weed Wacker or do anything manly. Shea wants to revoke his "Man Card" and gives him a test. Tyler was in for J. Hood.

Should the Bears be one of the teams acting like this aggressive? It's good enough for everyone else, why are the Bears above it? Or: are you happy to trust the process at Halas and be more patient? The Bears are 3rd in divisional odds, and were ranked as the 4th most likely division winner to not repeat... Do you believe this team can win the division without making any meaningful addition to the pass rush? Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood.

Who could have predicted this!? The Sox are just 1 game out of the AL Central... Are they going to win this division?  How big of a deal is the Murakami injury? Does this derail the Sox playoff hopes with the schedule getting difficult?  Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood. 

Hour 1: Kap & Tyler discussed the Bears seem Indiana bound after an acerbic day in Springfield saw lawmakers effectively place an ultimatum on them: Chicago, or Hammond. Should the Bears just stay at Soldier Field? Re-grading Kevin Warren as the President of the Bears, now that it seems he's failed to get the job done in Arlington Heights. How do you feel as a Bears fan, does it matter? Tyler was in for J. Hood.

Do you need to see them take the Cardinals series to believe it, or have we seen enough in just 2 games? Are the White Sox are making the playoffs? They are one of just 3 teams with actual power in the American League. Are White Sox fans ready to buy it? Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood.

Blew out the Twins 15-2. Would you root against your favorite team? White Sox 1st Baseman Munetaka Murakami is the first rookie in MLB history to hit 20 Homeruns before June! Hour 1: Kap & Tyler discussed the Cubs got off the schneid with an offensive awakening today, breaking a 10 game losing streak beating the Pirates 10-4 including The HAPPening (5 RBI night for Ian!). Seiya remains helpless with RISP, but baby steps. Everyone is feeling okay now, or are you still concerned? Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood.

Hour 2:  Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & Jesse with updates on the Bears offseason.  Kap & Jesse discussed possible Free Agents the Cubs should've signed over Alex Bregman.  Jesse has a story on the anniversary of Javy's play against the Pirates, running back home on a ground out to bait a wild throw and a run scoring. What are the craziest plays we've seen in sports? Jesse Rogers was in for J. Hood.

Hour 1: Kap & Jesse discussed the Cubs lost their 10th straight, in completely noncompetitive fashion, getting blown out by the Pirates. They'll be dogs in both games remaining in this series. We're past what has to change, I think we just let people vent their frustrations with this awful stretch of baseball.  The White Sox continue to be the best story in town, despite tonight's likely loss, and one of the best stories in sports, and they might have something in Rikuu Nishida that can add to that excitement. When will you start to believe this can be an AL playoff team? Jesse Rogers was in for J. Hood.

Hour 2:  MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & Tyler with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.   Kap & Tyler discussed Milwaukee Brewers fan sues the the team for split the pot mishap, Bears stadium nonsense... The Pope wants them in Chicago, per Brandon Johnson. Pritzker basically said they need a hail-mary. Jim Tinaglia said it could come to the final hours. Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood.

Hour 1: Kap & Tyler discussed the Cubs haven't won a game in 10 calendar days, 9 straight losses, their longest streak since 2022. The bats are completely lifeless, PCA continues to be made a mockery of after another leaping miss at the fence today, and it really feels like a spiral. How do we fix this, or are the Cubs just not that good? The White Sox still occupy a playoff spot in the American League... At what point should Sox fans start to really believe this is going to happen? They show no signs of falling apart, and are even calling up reinforcements in the form of Drew Sandlin. Is it Go Time on the South Side? Tyler Aki was in for J. Hood.
