Valavan & the 4 others were surrounded. Peroliyon helped Valavan & 4 others with the sword and dagger. In the darkness in the jail the other prisoners & Peroliyon could move with the help of their senses. Sengodar helped the Peroliyon who was stabbed.

In the darkness of Uraindhai Pattinam to the east, there was an underground cave jail. The Chola prince Valavan & Army head Sengodar went to the jail in disguise. And was received by the jailer. Sengodar asked the helping police men "Where is the Traitor". The Traitor said to the Prince, "Prince please go back".
