Killing Time With Arch

This started as a boredom project during the pandemic because I was off work, but it has now evolved into me interviewing TikTok creators exclusively, so if you enjoy TikTok (or even if you don't), tune in to hear me talk with the next awesome creator. I only talk to interesting people, although I find most people interesting. If you know me in the real world you don't know me on TikTok.

Episode 102 - Talking with Veronica aka @Bipolarbetch on TikTok and new bipolar book out now!

***Trigger warning: this episode includes adult themes and discussion of suicide and other topics that could be triggering to some listeners*** Welcome to the Killing Time With Arch Podcast, the show where I talk to your favorite and soon to be new-favorite tiktok creators! My guest today is a fellow TikTok creator who has bipolar type 1 (like myself) and who I think has one of the funniest and realest accounts around about bipolar disorder. She talks about all of the funny and cringey and scary things about bipolar disorder on there and shares some great insights about living with it, all while educating her audience and helping eliminate the stigma around the illness. Her name is Veronica and she goes by @bipolarbetch on TikTok, and in my interview with her I talk with her about everything from the time she put all of her exes together in a group chat to our strict drug regimens. You can find her on Instagram as well, so be sure to give her a follow! If you'd like to watch this episode, you can find the video podcast on my YouTube channel here! Also, the big news since my last episode is that I now have a book out! It’s called One Dude’s Guide to Being Bipolar: How to Stay the Hell Out of Grippy Socks Jail, Achieve Anyways, and Abide Always, and if you’re someone who suffers from bipolar disorder or know someone who does, this book is for you! Check out my author website www.gemcitydudeistpriest.com/bipolardudeguide for more information on how to find the paperback, ebook, and audiobook (which I read myself!), and please be sure to leave a review wherever you read or listen to it!

Killing Time Episode 101 - Talking with Laura @thebpspouse from TikTok

Editor's note: A previous version of this podcast was released in error that did not include the guest's audio and that has since been updated, so if your podcast service hasn't updated it yet to include that then please check back later. My guest today is Laura, although she’s better known on TikTok as @thebpspouse, short for bipolar spouse. As someone who has bipolar 1 disorder like her husband does, I have to say she’s given me huge insights into what my partners have gone through while I’ve suffered from mania and depression, because it affects the whole family. I’ve enjoyed watching her on TikTok for a while now not only because she makes learning about bipolar entertaining, but also because her account is full of so many great tips and is just overall very educational. Join me for my discussion with her on this episode, and if you'd like to join the inaugural weekly gathering of the Gem City Circle of Dudeists' Bipolar Support Group, then please join tonight at 8PM. Details can be found at gemcitycircleofdudeists.org/bipolarsupport. Learn more about Arch and what he can do for you at www.gemcitydudeistpriest.com.

Killing Time Episode 96 - Talking with Kyle AKA "Homebrewcity" from TikTok

Well it's certainly been a minute and I hate that it took me this long to get such a great episode out, but I sat down with Kyle, AKA "Homebrewcity" on TikTok, to talk about homebrewing. And not just your typical beer homebrewing. We also talk about mead, acerglyn, hop tea, and much more. Find him on TikTok at www.tiktok.com/@homebrewcity. The long hiatus is due to the fact that I went through a divorce and planned to move out of the country to Bosnia and Herzegovina around this time last year, but I met someone new and fell in love and decided to stay, so I'm back to podcasting finally once again, and it's nice to be back. I just needed a hiatus is all. You'll hear me mention this in the episode, but I hope you'll check out my new website, www.gemcitydudeistpriest.com, and learn more about some of the other side gigs I'm doing, which range from being a wedding officiant to taking people on trips to Bosnia and Herzegovina. ABOUT THIS SHOW
