Kim Guy
by Kim Guy
My initial incarnation was as a wyrd/psych-folk singer-musician, and saw my debut solo album, Wednesday’s Child, released in 2010. Subsequent (unreleased) solo albums include self-penned material alongside an eclectic mix of covers from various genres. I have gigged and/or recorded with Elowen, The Rowan Amber Mill (album releases include 'Midsummers', 'Heartwood' and 'Folk Devils and Moral Panics' ) Corncrow (album releases include 'Sweet Nightingale' and 'So Brightly Shining') and The Atwood Machine, and featured on various collaborations; releases including Dark Britannica's We Bring You A King With A Head Of Gold and Rif Mountain's Echoes From The Mountain, both widely available .*UPDATE* The lockdown has given ample opportunity for music to be made here at Wyrd House. Back to my folky roots, and after a 10 year hiatus, The Rowan Amber Mill has just released a mini-album, ahead of a full-length release, when it's completed. Holy Ground (Steve Bailey)
Going back to my acoustic guitar roots, I decided to revisit a song written by Steve Bailey, an amazing artist I 'met' back in the days of Myspace. I hope he'd approve of this version of a beautiful song sadly as relevant now as it was then.

The Atwood Machine (http://soundcloud.com/paulmdye and http://soundcloud.com/kimguy) convened again for some more musicking. Inbetween the serious business of coffee drinking and larking about, this track arose from some noodling and general lack of any clear direction (other than Paul's…
