Watch out world, the new head of boxing is here! Had a great talk with, in my opinion, the best lightweight boxer in Africa Philani Mfaku. In this episode, Philani speaks about how important it is to have good boxing coaches especially when coming up in boxing as he digs deep into how he had certain obstacles to overcome to be where he's at now. We had a conversation and being curious as to why cuban boxers do extremely well in amateur boxing but very few of them reach expectations in the professional world. Philani, the best lightweight boxer in Africa in my opinion, speaks about how he thought the fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis would go.

Truly grateful to Tyrique for the conversation we had on his journey and the battles he's conquered to achieve success on and off the field. In this episode, Tyrique talks about the options he had when choosing a nation to represent for international duty and how Switzerland, who have European aspirations, wasn't far off his mind. He also touches on the highs and lows of football and how delayed gratification is an important mindset to have especially as a pro footballer. Tyrique speaks about his time at Newcastle United FC and being in the reserve setup at the age of 17! He expresses what the atmosphere's like being around world-class premier league players.

In this episode, 808x speaks about the humble beginnings of the record label he co-owns (innanetwav) and the goals they've achieved along the way. I was fascinated by the amount of well-known SA artists he works with as he worked with A-Reece to make the hit song "Built to Win Born to Lose" and he talks about what the aura's like during studio sessions. He also discusses the making of his debut album "Project Station 2097".

Always great talking to the lovely Kamogelo Laka. This episode was aired on the 23rd of January 2023. We go on a journey of how she started YouTube and the actions she had to take to be where she is now. She has her own event company called BlakByLaka which hosted her 21st birthday event in Cape Town, a Top 10 event of 2023. In this episode, she opens up about the challenges her event company faces. She was also part of a well-known YouTube Show that aired in 2022 called AreYouTubedIn. I've gained more insight about the show by her telling me her experience with the show and encounters she had with other popular YouTubers.
