    Lapdancer: COBRA VOICE

Cobra Voice is an experiment in vocalics. A minimal and disjointed filmic sequence of squelches, creaking, squeaking, shrieks and other vocal induced noise. Like the cobra, the music here snaps, hisses and slides. At the same time, there is an underlying story here, a gentle melody floats in, a scene is painted on the screen of your mind, a cat, a horse, a house, a boat. This is by far one of my most powerful works and I provide it to you free of charge. WARNING: ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

    Lapdancer: Welcome

Lapdancer: Welcome This is my 2nd rehearsal for this Sunday's show at Ebisu Milk. I recorded this set in complete darkness in my small apartment. This set is more "musical" than other sets and, in my ears, has a very complete flow from start to finish. The setlist may flow something like this: 1. Relaxing Introduction with Cello and Alto Sax 2. Noir Suppertime 3. Supernatural Vomit with Percussion 4. Drone for Cosplay: Welcome to Tokyo, Welcome to Hell/ The Heart Doesn't Know Better WARNING: May induce fits of intense paranoia and testicular torsion. Listen at your own risk.

    Lapdancer: MY GIALLO NIGHTMARE

Lapdancer: My Giallo Nightmare This is the first official rehearsal for the September 10th show in Ebisu at MILK. The flow is very brooding and rhythmic coupled with haunting "Goblin" style keys. This set features 3 "cover" interpretations. The first is David Sylvian's "The Heart Knows Better," the second is "Suppertime" by Johnny Cash and the third is "The Lyre of Orpheus" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. This set is creepy and best for late-night walks around the neighborhood or into the woods.

    Lapdancer vs. Special Dental Team

One upon a time there was a band called "Special Dental Team." They practiced very hard, wrote songs called "Rooster Killer," "Eoneoraneunge," "Spank Party Pillow Fight" and "Murls are Spurling." They wore costumes on stage and even played live while a projector projected one of their favorite films, "Troll 2." There was a documentary made about them. Before Lapdancer was Lapdancer, he played bass in that band. Before Johnny Unicorn was Johnny Unicorn, he did all kinds of things in that band. On a rainy Sunday evening, Lapdancer undertook the pleasure of manipulating some songs by this nostalgic band. This is a raw recounting of pain, tears, gastrointestinal malfunctions, chopped beats, sloppy karaoke weirdness and absurd grind breakcore Latin strangeness. Stranger things have happened. Believe this.

LIVE XXX TOKYO LIVE XXX TOKYO

Here it is raw and fresh, just like we like it around here. The official Lapdancer live Tokyo "Noise Attack" recording. Complete vomit filth and mystical spiritual revelations. Recorded 7/1/06 by the kind folks at Binspark.

    Lapdancer

was the final rehearsal prior to the July 1st show at Binspark. In many ways this is a culmination of all of the prior rehearsals, with one exception...It is the best!! Overall, I think it is one of the best things I have ever done. It features a cover of the Staple Singers song, "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." The concert used the same material, but came out completely differently (in a good way!!! The concert was amazing). I do have a recording of the concert, which I have mastered and WILL be uploaded at some point soon. Too many projects going on now and not enough time! Enjoy the piece
