Episode 5: PlayStation Kills Physical Games

It's a very weird time in the video game industry right now. On one hand, more quality games than ever are releasing month after month. On the other hand, console manufacturers are raising prices, killing consumer choice and making the entire hobby less accessible. In 2013 it felt like Sony were the saviors of gaming, but lately it seems they're doing all they can to usher in its undoing.

Episode 4: The Price of Everything Has Gone Up

Video games? $80. Consoles? $1,000. This is the new reality we're living in as Grand Theft Auto VI raises the barrier to entry while locking content behind an even higher price tag. With so much to look forward to, there are bound to be a few setbacks.

Episode 1: State of Play, SGF, Xbox Games Showcase

In a week that is surely to never be forgotten, all three showcases decided it needed to rain straight fire. From the Sony State of Play to Geoff's Summer Game Fest and finally the Xbox Games Showcase, the amount of video game releases was relentless. God of War Laufey, Resident Evil Veronica, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, Gears of War E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved...COOKED, they have.
