Hey, I’m back after a short break while working for my friend. I have a little update and talk about what’s coming up!

I talk about missing an episode yesterday and taking a break.

I’m feeling under the weather so I’m sharing a recording of kids singing that I recorded at a cousin’s recital.

I think about how I can tie in leftist ideals with selling used cookbooks online.

I have a headache but I went to the thrift stores and found some books. I don’t think this is a super important episode.

I talk about what I ate and weekend plans for the bookstore.

I talk about buying a mixer, baking, and how food makes me happy.

I made some cookies today which brought up some thoughts about my dad or maybe my dad brought up thoughts of making cookies. I also talk about twee.

Hey, I take a look down memory lane with PBS's Cajun cook and humorist, Justin Wilson. I knew him as The Cajun Cook, but I don't think he ever went by that name. He was on PBS with several different shows, always telling a story, and offering up some humor. I didn't plan for this to be released the day after Fat Tuesday, but a nice coincidence.

I take a walk down memory and talk about the influence of Yan Can Cook on my life as a human being. I watched this show along with Sesame Street and Mister Rogers on WTTW Chicago, the local PBS station for me. It introduced me to Chinese culture and food before I ever tasted anything outside of my small town's Chinese buffet.

Hey, I talk about selling used cookbooks online and how that changes and doesn't change the podcast. I also go through a rough plan of what I need to do to get started. I'm no expert, but I'm just trying to make that money.

Hey, everyone! I did a set of waffle jokes over in Kouts, Indiana this morning and recorded it. I think it went pretty well. The diners seemed satisfied and the waitresses looked like they had a lightness to them after my performance. It's all waffle related jokes in honor of the venue, the Waffle Queen.
