Mrs Hall, former Director of Drama, Head of House and Dean of Chapter talks to Mr Harvey about her journey and experience at Liverpool College. Mrs Hall is now the Lead of the ANCHOR programme at LC.

Adam enjoys sharing his passion for filmmaking and cinema. Adam used to be an actor and director, and he is now a Primary School teacher and the owner of Silverscreen Primary. 

Mr Newton is our Health & Safety Officer as well as being our Contingent Commander of the Liverpool College Combined Cadet Force (CCF). We get to listen to Mr Newton as he tells us how he operates and balances his two important roles within Liverpool College.

Claire Robinson, our former Primary Maths Coordinator. Lewis Harvey gets to chat with Claire about what she's currently up too, her passion for maths and together we reflect on her time at LC.

In this the final episode of the first season of Imagination in Education, Zia Chaudry, MBE, DL, talks about his life as a British Muslim and discusses common misconceptions of Islam. In dialogue with Sixth Formers at the College, he educates and encourages for respect, study and understanding and a rejection of Islamophobia in all its forms.

Dwayne Fields loves the outdoors and he loves adventure. And he excels at both. His family emigrated from Jamaica to Britain where Dwayne adjusted to a new culture, including the experience of exclusion and racism,  and a new experience of the outdoors. He is an inspiration to many young people to aspire to be their best no matter what their background or circumstances, to stand up for justice and dignity for all people and to enjoy the challenges and rewards of outdoor pursuits. His inspirational life story thrills the pupils who helped make this podcast.  

Kate Scott, Inclusion Mentor at Liverpool College gives tips to parents and pupils  on how to keep well during lockdown. She shares her experiences of supporting people unique reactions and attitudes to the reality of "Covid school" and how we can support and accompany each other at this time.

Anna Rothery is currently Lord Mayor of Liverpool. In this episode, she tells us about her own education and about the passion for learning that kept her going. Ms Rothery is the first black Lord Mayor of Liverpool. She describes her own experience of growing up black in Liverpool including inspirational intervention from teachers concomitant with harrowing racism, and displays her passion for public service and bringing people together in pursuit of equality for all.

Gill Ridley faced a unique challenge when the lockdown was announced. With three young children at home, she had to simultaneously teach them and her 29 6-year old charges in Year 1.Gill describes how she went about doing this, what she and the parents and pupils learned, and how we can make our homes the best possible schools.

Professor Atkinson, Professor of Computing and Dean of the school of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computing at the University of Liverpool, describes how her own educational journey led her to become a researcher in computing and artificial intelligence.She discusses the key skills schools should teach their pupils in order to participate actively in a world where computers and artificial intelligence play a big role.
