Today, Dyar is joined by Sara Bafo. Sara is an educator, facilitator, writer, and creative producer rooted in freedom, justice, and liberation. Born and raised in a working class community in West London, her practice is shaped by community, organising, and a belief in the power of storytelling, creativity, and collective imagination. Throughout her years of community organising she has created spaces for learning, healing, and transformation, exploring how communities can reclaim knowledge, build power, and imagine new futures together. Together they explore the crucial lessons in the evolving landscape of community organising, the necessary connections between local and global violence, and the importance of abolitionism to create new systems rooted in care.
