It’s never too early to start talking about Christmas! Today Kaden talks with Abilene area coordinator for Operation Christmas Child, Naomi Wood.  You might already be familiar with Operation Christmas Child, where you pack the box and send it off, but there is so much more that goes into it. Naomi is going to explain all the details and the impact these boxes truly make and explain how you can get involved in this vital ministry.

Kaden sits down with good friend, Kate Bustos, of Bustos Training. She used to be on radio with Kaden, achieving the number one spot in Abilene. Now she’s a mom of five that helps people reach their health and fitness goals. Kate shares what it takes to have a healthy lifestyle and how it correlates with your Christian walk.

Today Kaden sits down with Craig Jordan, the Assistant Chief of Police for the Abilene Police Department. As you can imagine, it is one of the most stressful jobs you can have.  Craig talks to us today about the importance of being grounded in his faith. He shares some heart wrenching stories and some fun stories too. If you are dealing with a stressful job, he has some really good advice on how to deal with that. Thanks for tuning in.

Kaden talks with Belen Miranda, a resource navigator at a pregnancy resource center. Belen became a Christian at a young age and had many positive influences in her life. Even so, she still made wrong choices, as we all do. Belen found out she was pregnant just after she graduated high school.  Even in the face of this difficult situation, she trusted God to see her through. She now lives out her life helping young ladies that are facing similar circumstances. 

Kaden sits down with friends Justin and Ashley Adames who discuss their approach to life as a Christian in the medical field.  They love their jobs and show real passion for what they do. Justin and Ashley give helpful insight into how they live out their faith in front of their patients and find meaningful ways to not only help them physically, but meet their spiritual needs as well.

Kaden talks with Debra Stewart, a middle school principal, about life as a Christian in our school system. We’re going to dive into some of the do’s and don’ts when bringing God into our schools. In 1962 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional for public school teachers to lead prayer or give any devotional reading from the Bible, but in 1984 Congress passed the Equal Access Act. We will discuss the impact of those rulings and share how teachers can make a difference in student’s lives as they live out their Christian faith. 

Kaden talks with James Gentry and Haytham Mazari. We will hear powerful stories of God at work, including how they are making a spiritual impact on the refugee population in Jordan and how the local church ministers to people on a daily basis. Life as a Christian looks different in the Middle East, but there is much to be learned from these passionate servants.
