Growing up in an emotionally turbulent household wasn't easy. As a family, we experienced exhilarating highs filled with great adventures, followed by enervating lows shaped by my father's unpredictable nature and struggles with alcoholism. As a result, my relationship with him became one of affection intertwined with uncertainty, where love was often shadowed by instability. But over the past decade, I have learnt that my father is a man of great wisdom—haunted by nostalgia, yet driven by an undivided compassion for those around him. With humour and humility, he shares captivating stories of a life once lived, touching on themes of morality, love, courage, creativity, and loss.
