    S3E6 Entertainment and Excitement

    Entertainment is when you're fully focused on what's happening right now. You're not thinking about the past, the future, or everything going on around you. This is often called being in a state of flow.Excitement is a form of entertainment that boosts your energy and stirs your emotions.Happy people tend to experience both entertainment and excitement more often—and they stay in those feelings longer.There are two main ways to create these feelings:Self-created – You actively engage in what you're doing and give it your full attention instead of multitasking.Consumed – Something external captures your attention completely, such as music, a movie, a game, or an entertainer.Think about this question:What's more important to you?Where you go, what you eat, or what you do?Who are you doing it with?If we understand what creates these positive feelings, we can intentionally create more of them. We can also identify what drains those feelings and learn to avoid it.Each night, take a few minutes to review your day and ask yourself:What did I learn today?What made me feel good?What made me feel bad?The last question is often the most important because it helps you understand what's affecting your happiness.At the end of the day, you are responsible for managing your own feelings—not other people.

    S3E5 Social Media Addiction

    If you just go through life “going with the flow,” you might end up somewhere you never even wanted to be. It’s better to live intentionally — make your own big decisions, and save the “go with the flow” mindset for smaller things.What matters most is not how much other people like you, but how much you genuinely like yourself.Don’t confuse looking happy online with actually being happy in real life. An “Instagram happy” life and a truly happy life are not always the same thing. Don't get fooled and don't fool others.Chasing people’s approval is like drinking salty water — the more you chase it, the emptier you feel. You’ll never fully satisfy that need.If you don’t take charge of your own life, someone else will. This especially happens to people who are easily influenced and keep changing their decisions based on whoever they talked to last.A great habit is spending a few minutes every night reflecting on your day:What made you feel good, and why?What made you feel bad, and why?What can you do tomorrow to make your day better?Every few months, take a step back and honestly ask yourself if your life is moving in the direction you want. Don’t just drift — live with purpose.Surround yourself with people whose lives inspire you, and be careful around people whose lifestyle or mindset pulls you in the wrong direction. Prevention is always easier than fixing damage later.Stay curious, ask questions, and keep learning — but get advice from people who actually know what they’re talking about. Not every opinion deserves equal value, especially from someone who lacks knowledge or experience in that area.

    We all make mistakes. The real question is what we choose to do afterward. Will we use those mistakes as opportunities to grow, or will we try to defend our wrongdoing?To judge a process, look at the outcome. Don’t let people distract or confuse you with the details of the process itself.

    S1E4 Happiness

    Mo states that there are ways to approach your own happiness. Firstly, take care of the things that make you unhappy. One best way is to decrease your level of expectation of others and yourself.In business and life one big element for success is to be clear with your level of expectations from yourself and others. While at times we realistically can't have our expectations lined up due to lack of clarity. In these cases we need to have a "buffer zone" as well as remember to take things easy on each other.It is said that 97% of the things we worry about will never happen, and the other 3% we can't do anything about. If we start thinking in this way, it will get easier. Also, if you can do something about a situation, then do it, and if you can't, then don't worry about it.One quick way to increase your level of happiness is to appreciate the things that you have rather than focusing on the things that you don't have. If you do not feel good one day, help someone.Few other elements that make you happy:1: Sunlight. Don't sit in the shade/dark when you don't need to, open the blinds and curtains when you can and try to be out in the sun more often. Don't wear shades if not too sunny to hurt your eyes.2: An $80,000.00 income.3: Having a community and close friends.4: Fish oil and Vitamin D.5: Exercise.Q: for 21 day in a row, write down 21 things that you are grateful for. you can not repeat the same thing and email us at [email protected].

    S1E3 Happiness vs Pleasure

    Failing to plan equates to planning to fail. Knowing the difference between happiness and pleasure will help us plan accordingly, as to which one is missing in our lives and which deserves more attention.At times, we envy the life of others since they have more pleasure in their life, while in fact, that doesn't represent their level of happiness. While pleasure can increase your level of happiness over time, if obtained wrongly it can ruin your level of happiness as well.It's important to choose the words in which we use correctly, eg. if you are frustrated do not say "I am angry", and if you are having fun it is different than being happy.Are your friends the ones who add pleasure or happiness to your life, party friends or friends in need? and what kind of a friend are you?Treating yourself with stuff or food can have a negative long term effect while helping others can be cumbersome at the beginning but rewarding for a long term.Q: What do you do for pleasure and does it help or ruin your level of happiness?

    S1E2 Life's Purpose

    In this episode, Mo states that any purpose, whether it is good or bad, is a driver for life and creates livelihood. However a bad purpose ends up to a bad ending.The final purpose in life, is to have a good life. However smaller milestones/purposes are needed in order to get there.A strong purpose, good or bad, stops you from feeling the present and is useful when present is not pleasant.Review your life every few months to see if you are on the right path to get to where you want to go.  Before going to bed review your day, what made you feel good or bad and why. The way you think, decides the way you feel.Question: What's your life purpose?     S1E1 Introduction

    In this episode, Mo and Beau go through some of the rules which have shaped their lives for the better. These rules which Mo calls the "forgotten basics". The rules that probably we all know but have forgotten about.Some of the forgotten basics include the rule of 20/80, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, one bad act exceeds the value of ten good ones, to go for the low hanging fruits, No Hollywood/sensationalizing but stating the facts, we discuss the Rules but not exceptions to the rules. Learn, unlearn, then change. and most importantly, if you don't make a mess, you don't have to clean it up.Mo explains these basics in a very simplistic, applicable way. He does this by addressing subjects with the goal of maturing them with his audience. He asks not for agreement, but rather discussion on the subjects.Mo's questions for this podcast are as follows:How many people do you wish ill?How many people do you love and care for?On a scale of 0-10 rate the following : Level of happiness, anxiety, depression, financial control, relationships, or any other issues you may face in your life at the moment.After listening to this podcast for a few months, he asks you to answer the same questions to see how things changed.Remember: Life is simple, we make it complicated.
