Lil' Poet also know as Raymond Delgado was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. After fourteen years in the city, he moved to Gary,IN to finish school. Bad times and troubles followed him for many years.Until the day he found his connection to music. Lil' Poet found himself listening to styles like Andre 3000, Common, and Kanye West; which the is when found his connection to the style of music he wanted to pursue in his career. As we all know along with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar,Common, and Andre 3000,Lil' Poet's style is unique. He listens too and enjoys today's style, but makes a huge connection to rappers and styles from the late 1990's to the early 2000's. Lil'Poet is not only unique but has great potential to become successful. Music has kept Li'Poet on his feet and out of trouble. His music is not just a hobby to him but mainly his life. Like Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, Lil' Poet has spent day and night making nothing but greatness.
