  1. 32

Kyle Fite and Sean Woodward on the Book of the Law

The Book of the law is a beautiful, frightening and profound holy document. It inspires as many questions as answers, as many lightning bolts of revelation as WTF moments of head scratching befuddlement. Still, it demands to be studied and seriously reckoned with. Thank Nuit we have return guests Kyle Fite and Sean Woodward on the show today to offer some real insight, as well as possible ways to read this multidimensional book. Listen, read, mutate. [email protected]

Ad Omen on the Rebellion and Compassion of the Left Hand Path

Ad Omen is an artist and book designer working at the intersection of design, occult research and experimental publishing. His work explores the Left Hand Path  through writing, artist books, visual culture and magical practice. He has collaborated with figures in contemporary occult education and publishing, including Mandy Wilde, Jack Grayle and Shea Bilé. In this conversation we cover his philosophy and praxis, as well as how the punk rock ethos influenced his magical worldview. Enjoy!

    W. Adam Mandelbaum on Modern Demonolatry and 21st Century Sorcery

This episode we speak with author W. Adam Mandelbaum, about his fifty years in magic and how to craft rituals for results versus enacting medieval grimoire cosplay. Mandelbaum also made me laugh more than any guest yet with his quick, cutting humor. Check out his book Modern Demonolatry over at Miskatonic Books.miskatonicbooks.com/product/modern-demonolatry-goetia-without-tears-by-w-adam-mandelbuam-limited-hardcover/[email protected]

Ian C Edwards on Left Hand Psychology and the Sanctified Devil

Excited to welcome Ian C Edwards back on the show! In this episode we talk about that liminal space that connects occult practice with depth psychology, what it means to walk a crooked path and Ian's magical cartography. [email protected]

Lon Milo DuQuette on Thelema and Tarot

What an honor and absolute pleasure talking to master magician and consummate  gentleman, Lon Milo DuQuette, about Tarot Architect and his magical origins. [email protected]

Gabriel PropAnon Kennedy on the Consciousness Exercises and Gimmicks of Robert Anton Wilson

We close out Robert Anton Wilson Month here in the liminal zone with author Gabriel PropAnon Kennedy. Kennedy wrote the inspiring and insightful biography on Wilson (Chapel Perilous : The Life and Thought Crimes of Robert Anton Wilson). In this episode we discuss RAW's favored various exercises and methods for state-change, the 8 Circuit Model and what RAW might've thought of the current political/cultural climate. gabrielpatrickkennedy.substack.comchapelperilous.usliminalcurrents@gmail.com

  8. 25

Richard Rasa on Robert Anton Wilson's Anarchism and the 8-Circuit Model

For the 23rd episode it seemed like a no-brainer to invite someone on to talk Robert Anton Wilson, and who better than the cofounder of Hilaritas Press, Richard Rasa. Hilaritas keeps RAW's books in print, as well as sharing key unpublished collections with the world. Richard is a musician, writer and longtime friend of Robert Anton Wilson. On this episode he shares many interesting stories about RAW, his concepts and a bit about Timothy Leary as well! IMPORTANT NOTE : I fjorded up and repeatedly referred to Richard as Robert in the intro. To my knowledge, he hasn't changed his name or identity. Hope he forgives [email protected]

Shea Bilé on Modern Satanism and Demonolatry

I enjoyed my conversation with Shea Bilé so much that I just had to share this extra content originally slated for the Patreon feed on the main show. Please listen to the last episode first, if you haven't already. [email protected]

  10. 23

Shea Bilé on the history and importance of Satanism

Shea Bilé is a writer, lecturer and evangelist for Satanism. He approaches it with an academic rigor and unbridled enthusiasm. This was a fascinating and occasionally controversial romp through the history of Satanism and how it's developed into such a robust current of modern occultism. Check out the Patreon for even more of the conversation. check out his book Friedrich Nietzsche and the Left Hand Path, as well as his course The Fire and the Wine here : miskatonicbooks.com [email protected]

Exploring The Runes Of The Giants With Ran

On today's show we are joined by author/teacher/translator Ran (Thursaruna), who drops into the current to discuss the history of the Runes and how his understanding and radical working with them are from the perspective of the outsider, the rebel, the antinomian (the Giants), as opposed to the Norse Gods of order and submission. This was a truly inspired conversation. [email protected]

  12. 21

Spencer Sunshine On Countercultural Fascism And The Neo-Nazi Infiltration Of Satanism

Spencer Sunshine has been researching and organizing against the Far Right and Neo-Nazi movements for decades. His book Neo-Nazi Terrorism and Countercultural Fascism is a modern classic on the subject. On today's show we talk how figures like Boyd Rice, Michael Moynihan, Nikolas Shreck and Adam Parfrey subtly and otherwise seeded Neo-nazi ideology into the underground and are at least partially responsible for the modern rash of racially motivated violence. Later in the conversation we talk about how many of the main figures in the history of modern Satanism were either apologists or outright nazis also. This was a wild, occasionally uncomfortable but illuminating talk.

Ike Baker and Marco Visconti explore the mechanics of division and common ground

Despite having much in common on their spiritual paths, Ike Baker and Marco Visconti have been in a war of words on the virtual battleground of social media for far too long. On this episode, we see what happens when they both agree to speak to each other in an extended dialogue over Zoom. I sincerely wish more of the online magical wars were approached this way. Hope you enjoy and appreciate this  special episode as much as I did.

Peter Levenda on Celestial Ascent and the Stairway To Heaven

Legendary writer Peter Levenda rides the Liminal Currents this episode and expounds on how so many cultures had elements of soul travel to the stars. Michael Staley on Kenneth Grant, Crowley and Starfire Press

This episode marks yet another early milestone for us. Michael Staley's writing, publishing and hard work at keeping Kenneth Grant's work in print and name alive has meant so much to both Wyatt and myself. Listen in on the conversation as we delve into Michael's personal journey, working as Grant's right-hand man, publishing both Starfire the journal and the book imprint and, of course, Lam. Not to mention much much more (by now regular listeners are aware our conversational flow, as well as brains, are as squirmy as a frog in gradually heated water).
