There's Too Much Wrestling — We Created a Content Monster

Wrestling isn’t worse than it used to be. There’s just way more of it. In this episode, Timmy Baltimore breaks down the real reason modern wrestling feels diluted—and introduces the concept of the Content Monster… a soulless, insatiable beast fueled by billion-dollar TV deals and endless programming demands. From WWE’s massive media rights deals to AEW’s expansion and the explosion of weekly content, the business has shifted from a live event model to a content machine… and the consequences are impossible to ignore. Also in this episode: The Stooge Report returns with chaos, controversy, and questionable decision-making AOP drama and the art of “working”… or not working WWE’s Emmy nominations and what they really say about the business The absurdity of AI-generated crowd photos (yes… really) Why independent wrestling is still very much alive If content is king… then what happens when the king becomes a monster? Sensitive Wrestlers vs The Paying Fan

Professional wrestling has always thrived on the relationship between the performer and the paying fan. Cheers, boos, heckling, chants — it's all part of the experience. But lately, something feels different. Fans are being called out, shamed, or even ejected from wrestling events for things that used to be considered normal crowd behavior. Have modern wrestlers become too sensitive for the very audience that pays to see them? In this episode of LiMPiN AiNT EASY, Timmy Baltimore dives into the growing tension between wrestlers and fans, including: • Fans getting kicked out of shows • Wrestlers calling out crowds on social media • The changing culture of live wrestling events • Cody Rhodes' recent comments about sensitive wrestlers • And why personal feelings might be bad for business Plus in the Stooge Report: • Road Dogg quits WWE creative • The bizarre Ted DiBiase Jr. federal trial developments • And Jade Cargill absolutely destroying everyone in a Twitter war Hop on the Short Bus and ride with Timmy Baltimore. #WrestlingFans, #ProWrestling, #WWE, #AEW, #Wrestling, #CODYRHODES, #danhausen, #wwecreative, #TimmyBaltimore, #LimpinAintEasy, #WrestlingPodcast, #Wrestlemania, #JadeCargill, #WrestlingCommunity, #RheaRipley ========= LiMPiN AiNT EASY with Timmy Baltimore It’s Wrestling, As REAL As It Gets. Undertaker Booking Lucha: WWE's AAA Plans & Wrestling's Culture Clash

The Undertaker is now helping shape the creative direction of AAA Lucha Libre — and that raises some big questions. With WWE holding a controlling stake in AAA, the Deadman’s involvement signals more than nostalgia or ceremonial oversight. It points to a deeper strategy: global expansion, production control, and a potential reshaping of lucha libre for an American audience. In this episode, Timmy Baltimore breaks down: Why The Undertaker was chosen for this role What WWE’s ownership of AAA Lucha Libre actually means The fundamental differences between traditional lucha libre and the WWE style Why “fixing” lucha could be more dangerous than doing nothing Whether this is cultural evolution… or cultural collision This isn’t nostalgia talk or surface-level hot takes. Use Your Head. Don't Land On It! | Timmy Baltimore

This is the first solo episode of Timmy Baltimore. The interviews under LiMPiN AiNT EASY aren’t going anywhere—but this format exists for the conversations that don’t need a second microphone. In this episode, I talk about why thinking long-term matters more than chasing moments in today’s wrestling business. From smart booking decisions to real-world consequences, this is my perspective on where the industry is—and where it’s headed. Topics covered:  • Why Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Undisputed Championship over Cody Rhodes needed to happen  • William Regal’s warning about neck injuries and the cost of high-risk wrestling  • EC3 leaving the NWA, leadership, and why he’s good for the business  • Billy Gunn’s comments on why many wrestlers today don’t know how to work  • Why modern wrestling often feels like a firework show instead of a well-told story Not every conversation needs a guest. This one didn’t. ========== LiMPiN AiNT EASY with Timmy Baltimore It’s Wrestling, As REAL As It Gets. Timmy Baltimore isn’t just the “Handicaptivating Host”—he’s lived it. Timmy Baltimore, the “Handicaptivating Host” of LiMPiN AiNT EASY, is a physically-disabled pro wrestling personality & creative mind, with 20+ years of invaluable industry experience as an announcer, producer, writer, & booker. Baltimore is best known for his time in WWE’s Developmental Territories of OVW and一once under a WWE contract一in pre-NXT FCW, as assistant writer/junior booker to “THE AMERICAN DREAM” DUSTY RHODES. Timmy is the first 3rd man at the desk in OVW history; served as the guest commentator at the original ALL IN 2018 for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship match between NICK ALDIS & “THE AMERICAN NIGHTMARE” CODY RHODES; and is the play-by-play commentator for MCW Pro Wrestling in Maryland. The relationships & reputation that Timmy has built over the years, provide him the unique ability to respectfully command honest and personal conversations with his guests. This is a responsibility that he does not take lightly; as Timmy himself harbors a heart-wrenching story that gives way to an adverse existence. But neither his physical disability nor the recurring traumatic fallout could quell his passion for the Art & Enterprise of Professional Wrestling. EP.12 SCOTTY RIGGS — WCW, Nitro, The Flock, His Darkest Hour, & The Cautionary Tale He Lived To Tell

SCOTTY RIGGS was a featured TV wrestling star in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during one of the industry’s most important time periods. Best known as ½ of the AMERICAN MALES w/ MARCUS “BUFF” BAGWELL, and later as a member of RAVEN’S FLOCK, Riggs found himself on the front lines of The Monday Night Wars, when WCW Monday Nitro bested VINCE McMAHON’S World Wrestling Federation (WWE) for 83 weeks. But as he reveals in this inspiring & brave interview with Timmy Baltimore on LiMPiN AiNT EASY, Scotty’s most arduous war would be fought on the battlefield of his own mind. In his darkest hour, the former WCW star was fully submerged in an abyss of depression, and ready to be done with this earthly existence. Yet when fate intervened in the form of old friends, Scotty found himself in the midst of the comeback of a lifetime! Hear his full circle story—that came so close to never being told—as he’s never told it before: How one man climbed from the depths of hell so that he can courageously help those who are still suffering.   If you or anyone you know is in crisis, help is available 24/7 with the Crisis Prevention Hotline. ARON STEVENS may be best known for his portrayal of the “Intellectual Savior of the Masses,” DAMIEN SANDOW, and as the wildly popular, MIZDOW; Stunt Double to WWE Superstar, THE MIZ. But as he tells his former OVW colleague, Timmy Baltimore, on this episode of LiMPiN AiNT EASY, Aron had an entire wrestling career both before and after the Damien Sandow character. And despite not being a generational wrestler or nepotism baby, Aron Stevens practically grew up in the wrestling business. In this must listen interview, the former Sandow covers his extensive wrestling career; from beginning his training under the legendary KILLER KOWALSKI when Aron was only 16 and still attending high school, to getting being hired, fired, rehired, and debuting twice on the WWE roster before the age of 30! Aron’s story is one of surviving the ups & downs of the wrestling business, but always being able to land on his feet because of his invaluable experience and ability to “Get Over” with any live crowd. Today, Aron is an integral part of SMASHING PUMPKINS frontman Billy Corgan’s National Wrestling Alliance; the NWA. Stevens is openly and appropriately critical of the state of the wrestling business, with knowledge and wisdom that can only accompany a young 27 year veteran of the industry.   #WWE #WWERAW #SMACKDOWN #Wrestling #DamienSandow #NWA #NWAPowerrr #OVW #AronStevens #Mizdow #ITYSL #HEELS #TheMIZ #Netflix #CodyRhodes

BISHOP KAUN looks like he stepped right out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; a valuable attribute to possess in the cosmetic & athletic world of professional wrestling. Kaun and his GATES OF AGONY tag-team partner, TOA LIONA, have all the tools to dominate the tag division of TONY KHAN’s ALL ELITE WRESTLING (AEW). Yet wrestling lore hasn’t even begun to scratch the surface into Bishop Kaun’s potential. On this episode of LiMPiN AiNT EASY w/ Timmy Baltimore, for the first time ever, the mysterious Bishop Kaun tells his story. In this revealing conversation, Kaun talks about struggling with the duality of his identity as a biracial youth, being a First Generation American, and learning in adulthood that he was born an actual Cameroonian Prince. Though you’d never know that the royal treatment was an option in his life on account of his grueling work ethic, dedication to the grind, and his insatiable hunger for more! Despite being a tag-team wrestler for the majority of his time as a contracted talent, the African Bull Elephant craves the glory of a singles career. EP.5 EC3 — Wrestling’s “OVERMAN” Talks Controlling His Narrative, Philosophy, & Leading The Future

EC3 is undoubtedly one of the most unique stars in all of professional wrestling. A walking dichotomy; a mystery wrapped in a misunderstanding; his career has been appropriately storied and diverse. On this episode of LiMPiN AiNT EASY, host TIMMY BALTIMORE buys us all a ticket to take a ride into the mind of a true wrestling philosopher in EC3. As someone who has been a WWE Superstar, a TNA World Heavyweight Champion, an NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion; it’s no wonder that those within the wrestling world actively seek out EC3’s leadership and guidance. And under the National Wrestling Alliance, as well as his Exodus Pro Wrestling banner, EC3 does indeed lead a band of hungry, talented, stars-in-the-making into a frontier of dynamic storytelling that can only be sourced from the mind of a man, who simultaneously possesses the perfect physique and a passionate understanding of the German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. Yet one does not accumulate the type of success that EC3 has without being a polarizing figure; and without failing forward. It was Nietzsche who wrote, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” Whether he is in the 1%, Controlling His Narrative, or evolving into “The Overman” (because he’s over… man), EC3 puts it all on the line each and every time he tells a story and performs his art. And he certainly does not disappoint on this can’t miss episode of LiMPiN AiNT EASY.   #WWE #WrestleMania #NWA #EC3 #TNA #wrestling #billycorgan #JohnCena #CYN #Sting #AEW #NXT #Leadership #LiMPiNAiNTEASY #ExodusPro   ==========   LINKS🔗 https://linktr.ee/LiMPiNAiNTEASY   Podcast🎧 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/limpin-aint-easy-with-timmy-baltimore/id1800272596   Twitter: @timmybaltimore 🔗https://x.com/timmybaltimore?s=21   Instagram: @timmybaltimore https://www.instagram.com/timmybaltimore?igsh=MXE3ZXRzMmg5MmYxYg%3D%3D&utm_source=qr   Facebook: “Timmy Baltimore” https://www.facebook.com/BrentTarring/   ==========   LiMPiN AiNT EASY w/ TIMMY BALTIMORE is a motivational wrestling-related podcast centered around the human-interest stories of Professional Wrestling & Sports Entertainment’s best, brightest, & most interesting individuals, as they share and discuss the struggles, obstacles, and adversity that they had to face, endure, & overcome on their way to wrestling immortality.   Timmy Baltimore is the “Handicaptivating” Host of LiMPiN AiNT EASY. Whether Matt was known as Brett Major of the Major Brothers, one of EDGE’s Edgeheads, “The Broski” or “The Long Island Iced-Z” Zack Ryder, The Deathmatch King, The Indy God; he proved himself a master in the art of reinvention and keeping his brand relevant. Now as “The Complete” Matt Cardona—a culmination of over 20 years in the wrestling business—he openly discusses his rollercoaster career with Timmy Baltimore on LiMPiN AiNT EASY. From the highest of highs—like celebrating winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the ring with his father at WrestleMania—to the lowest of lows—in having the rug pulled out from beneath him seemingly whenever he had momentum on his side—Cardona never gave up on himself or his belief that his name should be spoken in the same breath with the industry’s greats. One would be hard pressed to find a wrestling career  with more peeks and valleys than Matt Cardona’s, and his journey is testament to what the show LiMPiN AiNT EASY is all about: the entire world may write you off, but your story is only over when YOU decide to close the book on yourself.
