The first of a 3 part interview with Paul Sztorc, the creator of BIP300/301; which would enable Drivechains on Litecoin.

You cannot will adoption into existence, you have to create real demand. What are the things you think are meaningful about Litecoin and will create interest and lasting demand?

Talked a little about Gary Gensler speaking in front of Congress and Saylor making another big buy. Then, things took a weird turn. I feel like I was disagreeing with everybody but it was fun at the same time.

We did a deep dive into the various paths that many chains (BTC, LTC, Doge, XMR, BCH, BSV, and ETH) have taken to balance security, transaction fees, inflation, scaling, and many other issues that arise when creating a worldwide, decentralized protocol. One of my favorite spaces to date; I hope to have more like this one.

We take some time to give an overview of what Drivechains are on Bitcoin (BIP 300 and BIP 301) and if it is something we think would be beneficial to Litecoin. I also had some thoughts on subsidized mining, is this a long term problem to avoid. And lastly, there have been some battling factions in Dogecoin that we address.

This week we had Justin from Cake Wallet in, continuing on these same themes each week; using Litecoin, self-custody, privacy, and building bonds between multiple crypto communities. We primary discuss the importance of privacy, Monero, DeFi and Thorchain, and touch on stablecoins as well.

At the tail end of the weekly spaces, we got an update about the situation in Australia with our regular guest Tux and ended up with a very interesting discussion about the importance of privacy and self-custody. Drinks were had... we are bonding the Litecoin and Monero communities.

Discussion about the importance of using Litecoin; usage demonstrates reliability, which builds trust and faith in Litecoin. Also, what is next for Litecoin? We pose an interesting concept about physical assets tied to on-chain coins.

This was one of the most unusual discussions we've had to date; NFTs, Metaverse, Digital Strippers, Education, Free markets, etc etc etc. Had to start out venting a little bit about Michael Saylor and some of the division I see in crypto, but got it out of my system.
