Struggling to heal from the events of the previous spring, Xanthe concentrates on returning the attic to its proper status as a communal space. Vali uses an impressive myriad of excuses not to return his stolen territory and Arkady stands up for fairness. It's a valiant and tumultuous battle to ensure freedom from construction-papered windows that ends up revealing the stability (or lack thereof) of Xanthe's friendship with Rowan. Dumptruck and I talk about DID, the fallout following the dramatic way I discovered I had DID, how they accidentally ruined my life when they were 11 years old, and how they were the first one to tell me that I had DID. The first one I remember, at least. So! We have done away with aliases as far as the perpetrators. From now on, Ash is referred to as Rowan. Asra is referred to as Sage. March is referred to as Val or Vali.
