Special Guest #131 - Brandall Laughlin

Born and raised in Dallas, Tx where I finished high school and went on to college there as well.  I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BFA with a triple concentration in photography, painting and drawing. I have been continually using my degree since graduating in 1993.  I have four sons, born in 1996, 1998, 2000, and 2002. I moved to Oxford in 2002 when my youngest was just eight weeks old and have been living here for the last 23 years.  For many years I was very active in their schools, with the Humane Society, the Food Pantry and the local garden club, and most recently, I have devoted the last six years to facilitating a grief support group. My career path has mainly been photography.  It began as a little side business and bloomed into full time work for portraits, seniors, families, weddings, editorials, magazine work, website work, advertising and food photography.  I had taken a break from drawing for many years, but picked it back up in 2021 and have established a thriving portrait business. I live in a little house on an acre of land with a couple dogs, a handful of cats and my son’s horse is in the pasture next to my home.  When I am not working, I am a self-proclaimed passionate traveler with, not a bucket list, but a life list. It is a big, wonderful world and I want to see and experience as much of it as I can.  I have a better half that I travel and explore and do life with. My dream job would be to travel the world and take photographs because it combines two things, well three things that I love: my partner, travel, and taking photos.Book links: -https://a.co/d/iak8KLW http://archwaypublishing.com/https://squarebooks.com/book/9781665768979

Following the event, Tonya felt God say that this movement will spread quickly. Unite Auburn. Unite other college campuses. Unite the nation. Since Unite Auburn, Unite has seen over 69,000 college students gather across eleven universities. Through these gatherings, thousands of students have made decisions to follow Jesus and celebrate their new commitment to Him through water baptism. In a nation that suffers from so much darkness, division, and mental health issues, Unite seeks to bring unity and hope to this generation. Tonya has been married to, Chad Prewett, Auburn University Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach, for over 30 years. Special Guest #114 - Dr. Ben Edwards

Ben knew that he wanted to be that kind of doctor, one who took care of the entire family from cradle to grave. He wanted to work with the whole body and the whole family. But then it happened….the divine appointment that would change the course of his life and the life of his patients in a dramatic way. It was time for him to move on to what the Lord designed him to be, a physician who believes that our body is designed perfectly and knows how to heal itself if given the opportunity. Now he sees that all we have to do is to find out what our bodies are missing that the Lord intended them to have, and what harmful things we are being exposed to that shouldn’t be there. Replace what’s missing and remove what is harmful. That’s it. Then sit back and watch the “miracle cure” that is waiting inside of you manifest. Special Guest #107- Kelley Robison

I was born in Batesville, MS and attended both Northwest Mississippi Community College & the University of MS, where I graduated with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Sociology. My career gravitated toward marketing and community education with an eventual emphasis in hospice care. But my greatest joy has been raising a family with my wonderful husband of 30 years, Brad. We have 3 amazing sons. One is a freshman in college & two of them are married, thus adding two incredible daughters to our family. Last year we received the gift of our first two grand babies, Lyla & Lincoln.  We enjoy hiking, traveling, all things outdoors (and doing whatever it takes to get us all in the same state, under the same roof at the same time).  In the past, I have had the privilege of leading high school & adult Bible studies, serving as Family Ministries Coordinator & working on a church staff as well as volunteering in youth ministry. More recently, I have led college Bible studies & served in various mentoring roles. I volunteer in prayer ministries and serve as a spiritual counselor @ Pinelake Church in Oxford.  I am on a lifelong pursuit of understanding who God says we are, as His children & how that impacts every part of our lives. I have a passion for helping others find the freedom Jesus died to give, specifically through understanding and embracing our identity in Christ. I long for authentic, honest, raw conversations about how we combat the lies of the enemy with Gods’ truths that set us free.  I love to spend time sharing these messages with individuals as well as groups who want to know more about how claiming our identity in Christ brings about life changing freedom.  Choosing Freedom Podcast here.

    Special Guest #102- Kelly Bell

Empowering Women, Embracing Change Kelly grew up in Northern California. After completing her high school education, she answered the call of duty and enlisted in the Air Force, marking a life defined by dedication and purpose. While her spiritual upbringing didn’t center around a particular faith, Kelly held a steadfast belief in the existence of God. This belief, however, evolved into a deeply personal connection with Jesus during her time stationed in Altus, OK. It was a coworker’s unwavering love and support, coupled with the warmth of their family, that facilitated this life-altering encounter. In the midst of her military service, fate introduced Kelly to her future husband, and their union marked the beginning of a new chapter. Over the course of four years, Kelly thrived in various roles, with her favorite being the role of protocol for the Base Commander, a testament to her impeccable organizational skills and creative flair.Transitioning from her military career to motherhood, Kelly embraced the role of a devoted homeschooler, dedicating a remarkable 19 years (and counting) to nurturing and guiding her three children. The joy multiplied with the arrival of two grandchildren Kelly’s spiritual awakening ignited a fierce passion within her – a passion to empower women to rewrite their stories of defeat into victory and an understanding of their identity in Christ. She actively engaged in women’s leadership initiatives, extended a compassionate hand to those affected by sex trafficking in Texas, and since 2018, has been an integral part of the Pregnancy Center of Oxford. In a divine twist of fate, June of this year ushered in a new chapter as Kelly assumed the role of Executive Director at the center. This dream role perfectly blends her calling and fervor, allowing her to awaken each day with a renewed purpose: to shower women with love, compassion, and unwavering support right where they are. At the heart of Kelly’s mission is the belief that every person who enters the center’s doors is a divine appointment, “we want them to know they are seen, loved and valued.” Her guiding principle – that saving a life begins with nurturing the mother – echoes through her dedicated work.Beyond her pivotal role, Kelly is an enthusiastic community volunteer, relishing opportunities to connect with new faces, meeting a friend for coffee, reading a new book, or planning an event. As Kelly, her husband Jeff and two children proudly establish their roots in the welcoming embrace of Oxford, they eagerly anticipate the boundless opportunities that lie ahead.  A reflection of their unyielding spirit and commitment to the community. Click HERE for Love First Fall Banquet Tickets! Questions we discuss during our chat:  1. If you had access to a pregnancy center during your crisis pregnancies would that have made an impact?
