Looking for Him

It's so easy to get lost in our busy schedules or hectic weeks and lose sight of God's mission. This week, I'll talk about my personal experiences with getting lost and losing focus on what is essential in life.

Redemption is freedom, but so many of us are trapped by our sins. We all have the choice for peace, yet many do not want to accept help, whether it's pride, insecurity, guilt, etc. We must walk into redemption with open arms and feel Jesus' love for us.

Being in a season of waiting can feel like you don't have an identity, but as Christians, we know that we don't find our identity in our work or performance; it's how we live our lives intentionally for Christ. In today's episode, I will talk about living purposefully, even in a waiting season, and how we can find the boldness to move from a waiting season to an active one.

Recording this episode was something that God has been putting on my heart. He wanted to talk about how he freed me and how he can do the same for you. Deliverance seems like something that cannot be grasped, but with God's redemption, all things are possible with him.

In today's episode, I had a special guest with me! Nathan Chen discussed his faith and how his struggles reflect God's will. All of us will go through struggles in our lives, but what matters is how we deal with them. Listening to how he took a difficult situation and turned it into something beautiful was encouraging. In this episode, I'll review some of the biggest lessons that I've learned this year. Through my highs and lows, God has always come through and never left my side. In my walk with Christ, he has given me a passion to share these experiences with you all today.

I was inspired to talk about strongholds and the ineffectiveness they can cause in our lives. In "Winning the War in Your Mind," Craig Groeschel spoke about this idea of strongholds and how many of us live with these walls that we built up. In today's episode, I emphasized surrendering not only yourself but your troubles to the Lord.

This episode was so fun to record! This episode is on having a heart of thankfulness and living with intentional gratitude. Over the past few days I've been reading Colossians, first and second Thessalonians where God has been giving me examples of how we should live selfless lives.

In this very first episode I wanted to let you guys know a little bit more about me through my testimony. I talk a lot about the struggles that I've gone through and how God has used those struggles to make me who I am today. Through God's love and continuous grace I am following in a way of obedience in creating this podcast. I hope you guys enjoy and learn something about me through my first podcast episode in "Looking for Him."
