Wesley Davis - IRC Property Appraiser
November's ballot in Florida is looking at Amendment 3 being a strong part of voter's mindset. The amendment deals with exemptions and property taxes. IF the Homestead is adopted the mileage rates can be increased instead, and that will keep the actual property tax amounts no different. The same amount of tax money will be collected. There is a lot of money on the table, and the idea is for municipalities to be more accountable and efficient with the money they have to appropriate.
