Love, The Goal - Episode 01 - Reverend Doctor Michael Adam Beck
Michael is the director of Fresh Expressions for the United Methodist Church, and Fresh Expressions is a movement of new church starts and nontraditional church ministries outside of the walls of a church. He is a church planter and also directs Fresh Expressions for Florida and fresh Expressions house of Studies. Michael leads a number of churches in Ocala, Florida, including plants in a burrito bar, a dog park, a tattoo parlor, and a sober living recovery house. And, in our conversation, Michael talks about his own story, how he came to experience the love of God and what it means to put that into practice working with folks in addiction recovery, working with folks across theological spectrums and backgrounds.
