Her story is rich with recommendations about how she reconnects to the community as she moves back into the family home, her “treehouse” that her mother built when she was the head chef at the Apollonian Hotel (one of the last surviving timber music hall Hotels built in the 1870's.).   Boreen Point, is only a 20 minute drive to Noosa River , its cafe's, community and nightlife. Yet Boreen Point sits quietly on the shores of Lake Cootharaba, amongst the Noosa Everglades. The Noosa Everglades are one of only two everglades systems on earth. An unparalleled ecosystem home to over 40% of Australia’s bird species, an important sanctuary for some of our most iconic creatures, the region is nicknamed the ‘river of mirrors’ for its insanely clear and calm waters that cast a perfect reflection of the trees and sky.   Tara, a foodie at heart, shares all her secrets on finding fresh local produce, from mud crabs to local fresh eggs (from the farm), or simply a bite  to eat from the Apollonian Hotel, all 3 minutes walk from her doorstep.
