Biotrans was formed back in early 1993 by Marc Pompeo and Oliver Barkovic.Biotrans was signed to Stickman Records in Toronto. Performing live at a few underground Parties (Raves) in the Burlington-Hamilton region as well as Toronto.Two four cut EPs were released under the Biotrans name with Marc and Ollie. The duo later disbanded, and Marc released another two EPs with the help of the Stickmen. 1 four cut EP and a double EP with remixes. Marc Pompeo, currently founder of The Blue Collar Bros. and co-founder of the MPE Project, rebooted the Biotrans brand after 19 years of hiatus. Marc holds releases from 1989 to present, under the following recording labels: Captain Records, Stickman Records, Definitive Recordings, Popular Records, 6&7 Music, Kiko Records/Blackbug/Mr.Jack and Zenzontle Records under the names Biotrans, The M.Pompeo Project, The Captain, and the MPE Project.Incorporating the "old school" sound of the original Biotrans flavor with todays modern electronic vibes.
