Making Jesus Content
by Nugget of Augusta
Welcome to Making Jesus Content. This whole thing actually started at our kitchen table… and with a misunderstanding—which honestly feels very on-brand for how God works in our lives. My wife and I became young adult leaders at our church, and not long after that we were asked to lead discipleship groups. I was walking with the guys, she was walking with the girls, and suddenly our evenings were filled with real conversations—questions about faith, obedience, calling, identity, and what it actually looks like to follow God when life doesn’t come with a step-by-step manual. Those conversations didn’t stop at church. They followed us home. They lived at our kitchen table. And one night, in the middle of all that, I asked her, “Hey… do you want to make Jesus content?”She immediately said, “Of course.”Turns out… we were talking about two very different things.I meant content
