[PREVIEW] Bonus Episode High and Dry in the Alvord Desert

In this bonus episode our Socialists start off recording in the Advord Desert, in Southeastern Oregon, for nearly 40 minutes. They don't discuss much about politics, but instead ponder life, and the mysteries of existence... Or they just spend the time bullshitting.Actually it's mostly that last part. The remainder of the episode is spent with our two Socialists in studio, wrapping up the earlier recording of the episode and talking about some of the experience they had in the great desert of Alvord.

  2. 83

    Episode 85, August 17th, 2026 (Season 2 Finale)

As they wrap up their second season, our two Socialists find themselves in Eastern Oregon in the Alvord Desert. Being a season finale, our two socialists don't really talk too much about politics and news, but take this opportunity to review what they think they did well, what they think they can improve upon, and possibly other musings as they wrap up this season.

  3. 82

    Episode 84 August 3rd, 2026

In this week's episode our two Socialists listen to, and discuss, a little bit of the coverage of the July 29th Senate hearing (led by infamous chode, Rand Paul) regarding Dr. Anthony Fauci. Join us as we embark on a journey down the Rebpulican's witch hunt rabbit hole in order to distract the US population from things we won't really cover... like:The absolutely incompetent bungling of the war in Iran that somehow isn't a war.The Trump administration having to spend over a billion dollars to combat the screw worm after they canceled a program that kept the screw worm in check... and cost a fraction of the price.Salad that will make anyone shit themselves like Diaper Don the pedophile con.Mr. Kieffer apologizes for the quality of the audio. He caught Covid and our Socialists had to record remote for this episode.

  6. 79

    Episode 81 July 13th, 2026

In this week's episode our intrepid socialists decide to shift gears a little bit and talk about the present mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani. Specifically, why is he so popular, why is he so hated and feared by both centrist establishment Democrats and MAGAs, and what our two socialists' opinions regarding Mamdani actually are.

  7. 78

    Episode 80, July 6th, 2026

In this week's episode our two Socialists decide to dip their toes into video content and also go over a specific portion of a Grants Pass City Council meeting from June 17th, 2026.That specific portion of a Grants Pass City Council meeting has to do with the Grants Pass City Council voting to approve, or not approve, the construction of subsidized low income rental homes. If you haven't paid attention to the City Council, and/or missed this specific meeting, then the outcome might surprise you. But whether or not the outcome is what you expected, the outcome was disturbingly dependent upon chicken joints... yes... chicken joints.

  8. 77

[PREVIEW] Paid Bonus Episode June 2026

In our first paid content bonus episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan record out at the Flag Day Protest in Grants Pass in front of the County Courthouse. Our two Socialists spend their time there mostly going over some video clips of the orange shit gibbon's cockfight ring in on the front lawn of the people's house, then spend some time going over what has been the continuous dumbfuckery that is the Trump administration's war in Iran. Our two socialists also do some minor commentary on the protest as they are there, and do a quick interview with a person who was technically assaulted by some creeper (who we assume is a Trumper).Overall it was a good time. We hope to be able to do more stuff like this in the future, and maybe get more protesters eager to talk with us.

  13. 72

    Episode 70.5 April 30th, 2026

In this BONUS episode, Mr. Kieffer decides to torture Mr. Morgan by having them watch, and comment on, an interview that Mike from Mike on Mic gave to former commissioner Foreskin. In this borderline obscenely long episode (just over 2 hours and 30 minutes), Mike comes dangerously close to being self aware, former commissioner Foreskin spins tales, and we swear Mr. Morgan does not almost have an aneurysm. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

But you might come away with a better understanding of Mr. Spurlock, some of his positions as a County Commissioner Candidate, and maybe... just maybe... you might end up deciding Matt has your vote. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  18. 67

    Episode 66 March 30th, 2026

In this week's episode, our two Socialists take another look at our local embarrassment of a representative, Dwayne Wank... I mean Yunker. We cover a brief interview Dwayne had from Mike on Mike at an event Dwayne, and a few other MAGA leaning politicians had in Grants Pass, then we cover a highlights reel of that event where Dwayne talks a big game to take credit for money Josephine County got from a legislative bill that Dwayne voted against. Finally, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go over Dwayne's Facebook post responding to criticism he's received for taking credit for money he voted against, and some of the more critical responses he received. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  19. 66

    Episode 65 March 23rd, 2026

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go over a news article from the Daily Courier about a lawsuit against some former, and one current, county commissioner. Then Mr. Kieffer attempts to torture Mr. Morgan with a February radio interview of former Commissioner Foreskin. Finally our two socialists view a video made by a man with the charisma of a dead raccoon who decides to spout his general ignorance on the SAVE act and gender issues as though it was simple wisdom. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  20. 65

    Episode 64 March 16th, 2026

In this week's episode our socialists review the last bit of legislation that our local state representative, Dwayne diaper stain Yunker, spoke on during our states short legislative meetup, and the results of the subsequent votes. Though Dwayne speaks about a few things, he ends up speaking against a bill that has to do with the state picking up the slack after the Federal Government cut medicaid funding for non-abortion services with Planned Parenthood, and our socialists might have a few choice words about Dwayne's position. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  21. 64

    Episode 63 March 9th, 2026

In this week's episode our two Socialists go back a short way and take a look at a little bit of our new County Commissioners. They review a few comments from the peanut gallery of their first business meeting, then address the fact that the newly selected Commissioners (and Commissioner Smith) need to address a long overdue petition from an asshole that the previous commissioners kept pushing back to the point that it is over a year out of compliance. In short, fun times had by all. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  22. 63

    Episode 62.5 March 4th , 2026

In the continuation of this week's episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan stay on task and resume going over Oregon State Representative Dwayne, Diaper Stain, Yunker's addressing of certain state legislation.Does Mr. Kieffer get his shit together and correctly let Mr. Morgan and the listener know what the next topic is each time in this episode? The short answer is no. The long answer is nooooooooooooooooooooo. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  23. 62

    Episode 62 March 2nd , 2026

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan acknowledge that we have two new assigned county commissioners to replace the two assholes who were recalled and resigned. Then, after a couple of announcements, our two Socialists discuss one of our local state representatives in the Oregon legislature... specifically our representative Dwayne Yunker, the arguments he makes for or against some of the legislation on the floor, and whether or not that legislature passes. One of our announcements is regarding a local T-shirt drive with Rogue Indivisible. Rogue Indivisible is doing a T-shirt drive and you can order a shirt online at https://forms.gle/1r4wm3a7EdKwboJQ6. Shirts ordered ahead of time will cost $15, and you will receive your shirt at the No Kings 3 rally on March 28th. If you do not order a shirt, but want one, they will have extra shirts for $20 at the No Kings 3 rally, while supplies last. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  24. 61

    Episode 61 February 16th, 2026

In this week's episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan interview Vicky Palmerton, an individual who has been active in the recall petition against former Commissioners 🤮 and Barnett, and is an admin on the local Rogue Indivisible Facebook group. After this episode, we are going to have a little bit of a break, but we will be back in a week or two. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  25. 60

    Episode 60 February 9th, 2026

In this week's episode our Socialists take a look at a brief video posted by our homophobic representative, Dwayne Yunker, listing legislation that will be debated on this month in the Oregon Government. Then Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan have some fun (we use that term loosely) poking at a more recent video by the Josephine County Republican. After that they watch a few video clips from the news about ICE using tear gas and flash bangs in Portland on peaceful protesters. Also, Mr. Morgan announces that he will be out the week when we would record for our episode to be released on the 23rd, so we will have an episode next week, but not the week after that one. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  26. 59

    Episode 59 February 2nd, 2026

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan quickly go over "Commander" Chris' resignation... video? Wait really, that pompous chode did a resignation video? Well shit, it looks like he did... So, our Socialists review that brief video, then go over some video of a really awesome ICE protest that happened in Grants Pass. Finally our Socialists get into an older-ish news story (about a month old now) involving corruption and incompetence with the Grants Pass City Council. Will the be the start of a new era? Probably not... but at least we'll be there just as frustrated as everyone else with more than two brain cells to rub together. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  27. 58

    Episode 58 January 26th, 2026

This week our Socialist have a new topic, totally unrelated to the drama with the County Commissioners, to talk about...Just kidding. Unfortunately there is still plenty of drama as Barnett's lackeys continue to push propaganda to try to convince the local populace that the recall petition was based on lies, that Commissioner Smith's recalling himself was not legitimate, and the idea that Barnett still can be involved in the process to appoint a replacement for 🤮. Then there's the waste of time and money "Commander" Chris has been perpetuating by having continued meetings wherein nothing can occur all for the sake of appeasing his frail ego. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  28. 57

    Episode 57 January 19th, 2026

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go over the first evening Josephine County Commissioner Business meeting in OVER. A. YEAR. There were lots of commenter in this meeting, and we mean a-LOT. Despite cutting what we thought would be really redundant comments, our two Socialists still had nearly an hour of video to go over, and a little over a third of it is former Commissioner, "Commander" Chris, being a whiney little chode. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  29. 56

    Episode 56 January 12th, 2026

In this episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan partake in libations in celebration of the successful vote to recall "Commander" Chris from the position of Commissioner. Our socialists will go over the County Commissioner Weekly Business meeting, an Administrative Workshop, and another Fireside Chat with Chris Barnett, all from January 7th. Mr. Kieffer offers the most humble of apologies for the audio jumping in a few places in this episode. It seems the consumption of alcohol inhibits his ability to properly operate the recording software, and he might have messed up a couple of times throughout the episode. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  30. 55

    Episode 55 January 5th, 2026

In today's episode our Socialists are ditching any local topics to discuss something on the national level. This is in part because the recall election will be over the day after this episode airs, and our Socialists do not want to provide any last minute speculation or do a last minute, "VOTE! VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!" push."So what kind of national topic might be covered," you ask. Well... Mr. Kieffer may have gotten his hands on a digital copy of a very recent 60 Minutes segment that is banned in the US, and our two Socialists juuuuuuuuuust might be watching that segment. This is one of our shortest full episodes, at just over 30 minutes long, and fair warning... the topic is exceptionally depressing and potentially rage inducing. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  31. 54

    Episode 54.5 December 31st, 2025

In their follow up episode for the week, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan interviewed a local journalist and owner of the Grants Pass Tribune, John Oliver Rico. Our socialists start with some questions to get a feel for who John is. After getting some background they turn their questions to some more recent drama with "Commander" Chris.Mr. Kieffer offers his apologies. In editing some of his coughs out of the audio he accidentally deleted a small portion of the interview around 11:15 into the episode. He humbly begs for forgiveness from you, the listener. Please remember to cast your votes to recall "Commander" Chris from office on (or preferably before) January 6th. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  32. 53

    Episode 54 December 29th, 2025

Our socialists are back and have a lot to go over from the past two weeks. There is so much to go over, in fact, that Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan have split this week's episode into two parts. The first, longer part, airing today... and the follow up (which will be an interview) airing on Wednesday. In this part of this week's podcast, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go through some videos of "Commander" Chris trying to control the narrative, an apparent lackey of his pushing some of Chris' propaganda, and a Commissioner meeting where our socialists get to see Wally Hicks for the first time, and Wally politely ends up telling Chris to shut his damn trap about legal litigation before Chris puts his own foot in it.Also a friendly reminder, if you're a Josephine county resident and registered voter, please make sure you have voted in the recall of Commissioner Chris... and turned in your ballot. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  33. 52

    Announcement 003, December 22nd, 2025

Our two Socialists don't have a new episode this week, but they do have some brief ponderings about the holiday, followed by a quick but important reminder. We hope you enjoy this announcement, and have a happy holiday! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  34. 51

    Episode 53 December 15th, 2025

In this week's episode, Mr. Morgan and Mr. Kieffer watch "Commander" Chris' very bizarre one man meeting that somehow wasn't a meeting and turned into an information session for the public that somehow was mostly "Commander" Chris trying to negotiate the meaning of statutes and the county charter to try to make an argument for rescinding Ron Smith recusing himself from participating in selecting 🤮's replacement due to a conflict of interest. It is absolutely more convoluted than it sounds, and Barnett makes a complete and utter ass out himself, as per usual. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  35. 50

    Episode 52 December 8th, 2025

This week has been a really busy week for Josephine county, with lots of stuff to go over. Unfortunately our two socialists have limited time so we decided to cover the most recent developments in the ongoing Josephine County Commissioner recall petition. Barnett does an... interview... we guess... okay, we really don't think it technically qualifies as an interview. It doesn't really improve from there as the two subjects of the recall continue to make questionable decisions to manage damage control or the narrative, and their social media cheer leader really isn't helping. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  36. 49

    Episode 51 December 1st, 2025

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan talk about a written post Josephine County Commissioner "Commander" Chris made in response to the recall petition. Then our intrepid socialists listen to a couple of videos from one of our more hard right Conservatives and muse a little about how this person can misinterpret freedom of speech, and how this same person can turn a video about asking people to volunteer at the Josephine County Republican's office into an advertisement to sell Republican merchandise. Finally our socialists listen to, and comment on, a KOBI news clip about a decision that the Three Rivers' School District made. Mr. Kieffer again apologizes for the coughing, though there is less of it this time. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  37. 48

    Episode 50 November 24th, 2025

Holy crap, it's been a month and we're finally back! After a hiatus due to Mr. Kieffer having, and recovering from, a two-week stretch of pneumonia, our dynamic duo is back to go over local happenings. In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan talk about the current status of the recall petition for "Commander" Chris and Andreas 🤮, and our Socialists discuss what is a current attempt that opposition to the recall is using to try to undermine the recall effort. Then our Socialists go over some brief selected clips from the Josephine County Commissioner Business Meeting, from about two weeks ago because there was no business meeting for this last week.Mr. Kieffer apologizes in advance for the constant coughing which we've tried to edit out and/or reduce. He says he's doing much better, but he's still technically recovering. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  38. 47

    Announcement November 3rd, 2025

Our very important, must hear, much wow, announcement. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  39. 46

    Episode 49 October 20th, 2025

In this weeks' episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan (one of them being elated from getting to participate in the No Kings II Rally) take a few minutes to talk about the No Kings II Rally... then they get into the meat and potatoes of the prior Josephine County Commissioners' meeting from 10/09/2025, because there was no Josephine County Commissioner Business meeting on 10/16.Does Mr. Morgan make use of the C word again? Probably.Do our Malt Liquor Socialist solve any of our Southern Oregon Community's problems? Absolutely not. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  40. 45

    Episode 48 October 6th, 2025

In this episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan lack a County Commissioner Business meeting to go over. But fret not, the Josephine County Commissioners FINALLY managed to vote on a lease that (while not holding to the county charter) doesn't completely screw over the Josephine Community Library. Our esteem socialists go over a few video clips, and then discuss an update with "commander" Chris' legal issues in Coos County, and revelations about 🤮's increased salary to a Mr. Sellers via the county's dime. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  41. 44

    Episode 47 September 29th, 2025

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan start off with an apology owed to the Rogue Indivisible Discussion Group, then they hop into the September 25th Josephine County Commissioner Business meeting, and during this meeting Fascist Santa shows up and is a special treat as he is up in a tizzy, and oddly enough Mr. Morgan does not use the C-word upon learning that Fascist Santa is speaking during the meeting. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  42. 43

    Episode 46 September 22nd, 2025

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go over the Josephine County Commissioner Business meeting for September 18th, 2025. Mr. Morgan discovers that a city councilwoman, Kathleen Krohn, is amongst the commentators with the sole purpose of slandering a local resident in an attempt to discredit the recall petition against "Commander" Chris and Andreas 🤮. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  43. 42

    Bonus Episode September 16th, 2025

In this brief bonus episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan decide to give a listen to "Commander" Chris' five-ish minute rambling at the... tribute? Sure, I guess it was a tribute... for the bigoted propagandist who would "debate" people, Charlie Kirk.Spoiler, Chris does seem to make an inappropriate amount of what he said at this Josephine County tribute, for a Kirk, about himself. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  44. 41

    Episode 45 September 15th, 2025

In this episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan have their second interview. This time they question a Matt Spurlock, a local musician, an admin for the Rogue Indivisible Discussion Group on Facebook, and who is helping to support the recall petition of two Josephine County Commissioners. Fair warning, we do end up also discussing the recent demise of a man who pushed conservative propaganda and bigotry under the guise of free speech and debate, Charlie Kirk, for a portion of this episode. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

  45. 40

    Episode 44 September 8th, 2025

  48. 37

    Episode 42, August 25th, 2025

After taking a couple of weeks off for life, love, and probably our general well being... Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan are back in a nearly two and a half hour episode where they listen to the Josephine County Commissioner Business Meetings for 8/14/2025 and 8/21/2025. In those meetings our hosts will discover what incompetence lies within the hearts of men... specifically the current Josephine County Commissioners. Will Blech, Barnett, and Smith finally approve the library lease and bring and end to the drama that Barnett and Smith put into motion with former Commissioner "Foreskin" West, or will the circus continue? The answer may surprise some of you... but it probably won't.Incidentally, there is a recall petition starting in Josephine County for Barnett and Blech, and it is being submitted on the same day this episode releases. We strongly advocate for any listeners who are registered voters in Josephine County to find and sign that petition, and if anyone has the time to help out please feel free to volunteer to help with the petition. The petition HQ will be at 123 SW K Street in Grants Pass. We will share more information, including any online details, on our episode releases as we get those details. There should be an opportunity to sign the petition at the up and coming protest on Labor Day at the Josephine County Courthouse, and there will likely be tables at the Grants Pass Post Office and Saturday Market (among other locations throughout the county) on a regular basis. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

    Episode 41, August 4th, 2025
