Mama Didn't Tell Me
by Rita Fitzgerald and Talia Penninger
mama didn't tell me is a parenting podcast focusing on all the topics our childhoods couldn't prepare us for. The world is a dramatically different place than it was when we were kids, and many of us are learning that we don't know very much when it comes to raising open-minded and progressive children. Many of our parents were taught not to discuss our differences; but as parents ourselves we know that differences are better celebrated than ignored. We think it's so important for parents to have open, honest conversations about how to teach our children to be good humans who lift up other people. Our goal is to be a resource for parents wanting to broaden their horizons, explore their blindspots and raise happy, confident, socially conscious children.
