7th grader, “Rebecca”, introduces us to fraction busters – a way to simplify solving equations.

7th Grader, “Betty”, debuts with her tutorial. She takes the word problem, translates it into algebra, and then solves it. There are variables on both sides of the equation.

Another debut from two 6th graders, Kermit and Freckles (not their real names).  Watch these two simplify a problem using the order of operations (also known as PEMDAS and GEMDAS). “Kermit” did 100% of the editing and this was her first time ever using Camtasia Studio!

Screencasting on the iPad!  For Free! In this episode, the ScreenChomp App is showcased.   It is meant as a rough “tutorial” and mainly as an introduction to the possibilities we might have using this with our students.

This is a special episode of 2 demo-screencasts of FluidMath. FluidMath is a cool, new math software for tablet pc and IWB users.  It can recognize handwriting and then solve, graph and animate on the fly.   Their Web site is http://www.fluiditysoftware.com/.
