Born in the 7th Ward New Orleans in 1974 the HardHead General was born. At the of 14 MC L stepped into the studio and started recording music. By the age of 16 he was writing music for the likes of Bushwick Bill, opening concerts for artists like Ice Cube, U.G.K, 8Ball & MJG, The Geto Boys and more. In 1993 he released his first solo debut Black Robbin Hood which sold over 850,000 copies and remains a hit album to this day. He went on to release 3 more solo albums titled, True 2 Life, Keep Steppin 187th Ward and It Shall Be.In 1995 MC L joined the group Murder Inc. hailing from New Orleans (not to be confused with the label Murder Inc by Irv Gotti) The group consisted of Alamo, Crazy, Legend Man and MC L. It was a collaborative work in an effort to bring different areas of the city together to make 1 HardHead record.In 2010 MC L returns to music with the new album soon to be released digitally worldwide titled 7 Days A Week.
