In the story "Collision" by Chris Yost and Marcus To, the former Boy Wonder finds himself back in Gotham with Batman's legacy in the crosshairs of Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins.

Put on your tinted shades and goblets full of red viscous liquid, because Marcus and Alex are here to talk about BLOOD HUNT! This 2024 event by Jed Mackay, Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia sees the heroes of the Marvel Universe forming strange alliances to take on a seemingly neverending horde of vampires who've blocked out the sun. This episode sees Marcus forget to switch which microphone is working.

The first episode of 2025 is a little late but fun all the same as Marcus and Alex take on the classic Tower of Babel! When Batman's secret files and contingencies are stolen by the nefarious Ra's al Ghul, the Justice League is forced to contend with not only their own weaknesses, but betrayal as well.

For episode 57, Marcus and Will take a break from sending each other out of nowhere Tiktok sports highlights to talk about PARTS OF A HOLE, an all-time Daredevil story by David Mack, Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti. The immediate followup to Kevin Smith's GUARDIAN DEVIL, this story features Matt Murdock picking up the pieces after the death of his lover Karen Page and the debut of Maya Lopez, aka Echo.

For the show's third anniversary, Marcus and Chloe read THE FAUST ACT, the first volume of THE WICKED + THE DIVINE! Created by superstar duo Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie, THE WICKED + THE DIVINE follows a pantheon of deities reborn every ninety years before they are all dead again within two.

Manny makes his return to MCMF to talk with Marcus about TRIAL BY SPIDER, the first arc in Cody Ziglar and Federico Vincentini's volume of Miles Morales: Spider-Man. This story sees Miles struggling with the balance of his two lives and facing off with an all-new nemesis, who hates both the man and the mask.

Believe it! Marcus and Chloe take a trip down memory lane to the Land of Waves as they read the first major arc of Naruto.

In episode 53 of MCMF, Marcus and Chloe tackle THE MIGHTY AVENGERS! Spinning out of Marvel's Civil War event, this book written by Brian Michael Bendis serves as contrast to NEW AVENGERS, centering on a team set up by new SHIELD Director Tony Stark and led by Ms. Marvel.

Jessie joins Marcus for the third annual MCMF Pride episode to talk about issues 7-12 of Poison Ivy! Written by G. Willow Wilson with art from Atagun Ilhan, Marcio Takara and Arif Prianto, this series follows Pamela Isley on a cross country journey that eventually sees her reunite with her lover Harley Quinn.

It's a three-man booth for episode 51 of MCMf, as Gary and Will return to talk with Marcus about GHOST RIDERS: HEAVEN'S ON FIRE! The culmination of Jason Aaron's tenure on Ghost Rider, this six issue limited series sees Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch seeking a way into Heaven to stop the rogue angel Zadkiel, who has claimed godlike power for himself.

Ever since the infamous 2007 story One More Day, comics fans have posited the question of if Marvel Comics hates your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, but is that really the case? Come along with Marcus as he gets to the heart of the issue on the fourth edition of Splash Pages.

To celebrate fifty episodes of MCMF, Alex joins the show to talk with Marcus about Spider-Girl! Debuting in What If #105, this title stars May "Mayday" Parker, daughter of Spider-Man in her own adventures, juggling home, school, her new powers and a father who's scared to death of the responsibility that comes with them.

For the 49th episode of MCMF, Marcus and Jessie spend some time with Jennifer Walters a.k.a the Sensational She-Hulk! This five issue story from the team of Rainbow Rowell, Andres Genolet and Joe Quinones features the Jade Giantess balancing her new, tricky relationship with former Avengers teammate Jack of Hearts with her day job as a lawyer to the super-abled, as well as pursuing a mysterious thief who seems to take a special interest in her.

Chloe returns to finally talk at length about her love of Venom, as she makes Marcus experience THE HUNGER. Released in 1996, this miniseries follows Eddie Brock as his symbiotic other half's hunger for human brains grows stronger and threatens their partnership forever.

On episode 47 of MCMF, Chloe returns to talk with Marcus about THE DARK PHOENIX SAGA! Released in 1980, this story by legendary comics duo Chris Claremont and John Byrne is one of the most famous in comics history, following the corruption and eventual fall of Jean Grey, also known as Phoenix of the X-Men. It is also notable for introducing Kitty Pryde and Emma Frost, both of whom become major players in the X-Men franchise and eventually the Marvel Universe at large.

For the deeply unhinged two-year anniversary of MCMF, Marcus is joined by his girlfriend Shay to talk about SASS AND SORCERY, the first volume of RAT QUEENS! Released in 2014, Rat Queens was an instant hit on Image Comics' Shadowline imprint before a series of fumbles sent it into hiatus, where it never really recovered. It focuses on the titular Queens, an adventuring party in the town of Palisade, and their constant misadventures both on and off the battlefield.

Manny makes his return to the show to talk about LEAPING INTO THE LIGHT, the first arc of Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo's fan-favorite run on Nightwing. Following the end of the infamous Ric Grayson saga, these issues serve as a soft relaunch of the title, establishing a new status quo for the former Boy Wonder and introducing a character with massive ramifications for him - the mysterious new mayor of Bludhaven.

THE CLONE SAGA is one of the more infamous events in comic history, and intended to turn the world of Spider-Man on its head. Unfortunately, outside forces caused the story to spiral out of control and leave it as one of comics' great "what ifs". Join Marcus and Chloe as they read through the 2009 alternate take on the story by former Marvel Editor-in-Chief and SPIDER-GIRL co-creator Tom DeFalco, Howard Mackie (GHOST RIDER, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN), and Todd Nauck (YOUNG JUSTICE, NIGHTCRAWLER) -- and discuss what could have been for Peter Parker, Ben Reilly and the mysterious Kaine.

Marcus and Gary tap in to talk about DEVIL'S REIGN, the culmination of the second act of Chip Zdarsky and Marco Chechetto's instant classic run on Daredevil. After finding that he no longer knows Daredevil's identity, Wilson Fisk outlaws all superheroics in New York, leading to a war for the soul of the city between himself and The Man Without Fear.

On the first edition of SPLASH PAGES, Marcus digs through one of his all time favorite series, 1993's Robin, to talk about the delicate balance between a superhero's two lives through the lens of the love triangle between Tim Drake, his civilian love interest, Ariana Dzerchenko, and his on-and-off crimefighting partner Stephanie Brown - aka The Spoiler.

For the 40th episode of MCMF, we do things a little differently and watch the Power Rangers 15th-anniversary special, ONCE A RANGER! From the 2008 series Operation Overdrive, this two-part episode features five heroes from the past returning to take on a new threat.

On episode 39 of MCMF, Gary returns to talk about the miniseries X-TERMINATORS! Written by Leah Williams with art from Carlos Gomez, this five-issue grindhouse-inspired series follows mutant heroes Dazzler, Jubilee, Boom-Boom, and Wolverine through a girl's night out gone terribly wrong in what is best described as "gleefully stupid".

For episode 38 of MCMF, Alex (@UGSchoolboy) rejoins the show to talk about chapters 39-52 of Chainsaw Man, the Bomb Girl arc! This story takes place immediately after where the anime left off and introduces Reze, a mysterious girl with an affection for Denji - who now has to grapple with his own new feelings and the ramifications of his relationship with Makima.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!For episode 37 of MCMF, Jessie returns to talk about the Marvel Infinite story KARMA IN LOVE! Released as part of the Marvel Unlimited exclusive LOVE UNLIMITED, this story features Xuan Cao Manh, a.k.a Karma of the New Mutants as she works through troubles in her relationship with her teammate Elle.

For episode 36 of MCMF, Chloe joins the show to help Marcus talk about one of his least favorite comics ever - New 52's Teen Titans.Written by Scott Lobdell with art from Eddy Barrows, this story serves as the origin for Raven and her demonic father, Trigon, as he tests the mettle of Teen Titans leader Tim Drake.

What if there was a superhero who was just the absolute scum of the earth? Marcus and Will answer that question in Episode 35 of MCMF covering THE IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN!Written by Robert Kirkman of THE WALKING DEAD fame, this twelve-issue series stars Eric O'Grady, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, as he stumbles through a journey of heroism and self discovery, learning to not be a complete and total scumbag.

In episode 34 of MCMF, Marcus' friend Charlie joins the show to give their uniquely Canadian perspective on SCOTT PILGRIM GETS IT TOGETHER!Released in November 2007, the fourth volume of the Scott Pilgrim story marks a turning point for the titular character as he reunites with his old friend Lisa Miller and faces two of his deadliest challenges yet.

For episode 33 of MCMF, Marcus and Manny try something different and pay homage to legendary Batman actor Kevin Conroy by watching BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM! Released on Christmas Day 1993, this animated feature is one of the most celebrated Batman adaptations and serves as the origin story for the DCAU's depiction of the Dark Knight.

It's Halloween and the one-year anniversary of our first episode!Because it's such a special occasion, Jake braved labored breathing and meat sweats to join Marcus for episode 32, covering chapter 4 of Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's legendary comic FROM HELL.

Manny tags back in on episode 31 to talk about Superman/Batman: Public Enemies! This story by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness features the World's Finest in the crosshairs of President Lex Luthor when a kryptonite meteor finds its way on a collision course with Earth.

This story features the debut of Tim's present-day beau Bernard Dowd, as the Boy Wonder tries to continue the juggling act of his two lives in ROBIN #121-125.

For episode 29, Marcus and symbiote enthusiast Chloe sit down to talk about the debut of the sinister Cletus Kasady, a.k.a Carnage! In this story from Amazing Spider-Man 361-363, Spider-Man finds himself forced to team with his deadliest foe, Venom, as the two try to stop Carnage's brutal path of violence through New York City.

For episode 28 of MCMF, Marcus and Will head into THE VAULT with a great story from Jonathan Hickman's celebrated run on X-Men. Follow along as Synch, Wolverine and Darwin seek to investigate the mysterious post-human Children of the Vault and their threat to mutantkind.This story runs through issues 5, 18 and 19 of the 2019 X-Men series, available on Marvel Unlimited.

On episode 27 of MCMF, Marcus and Will go through one of the defining Marvel stories ever, 1985's BORN AGAIN! Written by legendary comics writer Frank Miller with art from David Mazuchelli, this story stars Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, as his life is turned upside down after his arch nemesis, Wilson Fisk discovers his secret identity.The issues covered here are Daredevil(1964) #226-233, and can be found on Marvel Unlimited by searching the phrase "Born Again".(Content warning: these issues contain discussion of substance abuse.)

On episode 26 of MCMF, Gary returns to the show to talk about that time Spider-Man and Wolverine switched bodies in the Ultimate Spider-Man story SWITCHEROO! This is a very fun and dumb story that gives us a lot of time to talk mostly about how messed up Marvel's Ultimate Universe really was.

On this episode of MCMF, Alex returns to the show to talk about seminal Superman story FOR THE MAN WHO HAS EVERYTHING. Created by legendary duo Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, this story from Superman Annual #11 places the Man of Steel in a world where Krypton never exploded, while his Justice League compatriots Batman and Wonder Woman face off with the menacing Mongul.

For MCMF's slightly late Pride special, Marcus and Jessie read the 2002 miniseries MEKANIX! Written by vaunted X-Men scribe Chris Claremont during his return to the franchise in the early aughts, this story features Kitty Pryde attempting to live a normal life while attending the University of Chicago and finding herself in the crosshairs of the anti-mutant hate group known as Purity.(If you would like to read along, this story is on Marvel Unlimited under the title X-TREME X-MEN: MEKANIX.)

For episode 23 of MCMF, Marcus and Manny review one of the most iconic stories of all time, 1988's A DEATH IN THE FAMILY. Running through Batman #426-429, this story by legendary creators Jim Starlin and Jim Aparo follows the second Robin, Jason Todd, on his quest to find his long-missing mother -- a quest that ends in his death at the hands of The Joker.

On episode 22 of MCMF, Marcus and Jessie pay tribute to the late great George Perez as they witness THE TERROR OF TRIGON! Co-written by Perez and his longtime collaborator Marv Wolfman in 1984, this is the first story of the relaunched NEW TEEN TITANS, featuring the Titan Raven becoming corrupted by her father, Trigon, and the rest of the team's quest to save both her soul and the world.

On episode 21 of MCMF, Marcus and Will put on their feathered caps to talk about GREEN ARROW: QUIVER! Written by Kevin Smith (CLERKS, MALLRATS) with art from Phil Hester (THE FLASH: SEASON ZERO), QUIVER is the story of the return of Oliver Queen to regular publication after his tragic death in 1994. Missing his memories after mysteriously returning from the grave, Oliver finds himself hot on the trail of the sinister Star City Slayer, on a quest to find both.

In episode 20 of MCMF, Marcus and Gary take a light jaunt through the time Batman and Superman went on a double date with Catwoman and Lois Lane in BATMAN #36-37! Leading up to the ill-fated wedding between Batman and Catwoman, this two-part story explores the relationship between the World's Finest as people outside of the capes.
