The song “You raise me up l” by Josh Groban inspires me a whole lot and each time I sing and listen to it, I feel so strengthened like I've got some kind of renewed hope. I learnt this song while is was really a young girl and It had always been the song I remember to sing whenever I was depressed about life. It was tough growing up without a father. Most times while singing the, I would find myself in tears but as I got a lot more older and having a better understanding of the lyrics, it became my song of consolation. I no longer only allow the tune of the song make me cry but I allow the lyrics encourage me. I am a lot stronger because I am on the shoulders of my creator and I am so convinced He is always available whenever I need him. He is definitely raising me up. This is an incredible community and I feel so good to be a part. The song “Good Morning Beautiful” by Steve Holy makes me remember that I am loved and treasured by someone. You know, the best feeling a lady should have is the feeling of waking up in the arms of her lover, with a kiss on the forehead, a bright smile and a warm hug. That feeling is always quite heavenly. I am of the opinion that Steve Holy in his song “Good Morning Beautiful” is trying to pass a message to the male folks on how to treat a lover. He also wants us to know that waking up in the arms of the one you love and getting the assurance of being valued make one strong enough to face the entire days challenges.
