Mindfulness and meditation has truly helped me to change my mindset and my life. I struggled with mental health issues for almost 30 years up until this point. My mind and body were so disconnected and I didn't care about myself or my health enough to make any changes to my lifestyle. After practicing short meditations and mindful exercises, I noticed an improvement in my mindset. I started to care about myself. I started to like, love and respect myself just as I was. This led to me making better lifestyle choices and wanting to care about my body and my health. It can take a bit of practice initially but if you stick with it, it can make a huge, positive difference to your mental health.
