Microcosmos
by kara lynch, HowlRound Theatre Commons
The MicroCosmos project makes space to hold and amplify the micro by convening artists who are knee deep in this inquiry to reflect, study, and then encounter a fellow practitioner they’ve never met. These encounters take the form of conversations between these artists as they share their work with one another in response to creative prompts curated by Javiera Benavente, Matthew Glassman, and Nick Slie, MicroCosmos intends to be an iterative, ongoing process that happens not only in the virtual sphere, but also through annual gatherings where deep connections are made, seeds are shared, and the power to create is kindled.
