2 weeks of the season left and we finally had our first 2 teams punch their tickets to the postseason. Both the Brewers and Rays will play October baseball but there is still 10 more spots available and only 4 series left for teams to claim them

We had some great series this week and some very entertaining baseball. We added a couple more eliminations from the postseason this year and stand on the doorsteps of our first few teams officially punching their tickets to the dance. With 5 series left, and about 20 teams still fighting anything can still happen

Games and series keep getting shorter and shorter. For today's episode we go over the August players of the month as well as take a look at the first 2 teams that were eliminated from postseason contention this season. As well as 2 other teams that have more work to do after really bad 4 game series at home 

Cubs finished August with a bang. They had an insane game vs the Brewers hitting 9 home runs. And speaking of home runs, rookies who have made their MLB debut and homered on that same day have set an MLB record with 15 different rookies doing so this year. The race for the postseason continues now with 7 series left to go

As the dog days of summer come to an end, all eyes are on the prize of the postseason. With just 8 series left to go, it's now or never for your team to get hot with just 1 more month of baseball left

We are now just under 30 games left in the season as we approach the last month of the season. Division leads are as much as 8 game down to just 1 game and the wildcard battles are close. The Guardians have taken a slight lead riding a 7 game win streak to get them back over .500. So much still to play for with just over 4 weeks left in the season. 

An Insane weekend of baseball just happened. We had over 50% of the games finish in either a 1 run or 2 run game, and when you have that many close contests, you are going to have some walk-offs. 11 of them to be exact which is just under 25% or 1 out of 4 games. Just insane stuff. Plus another cycle, another big Mariners blowout, and some more history. 

Another great week of baseball as more races around the league heat up including the NL MVP race. You think Ohtani has it in the bag? Pete Crow-Armstrong might be making a case for himself. In other news we had another weird situation in the Ketel Marte saga that just has wondering more and more about him

Joshua Baez, Joshua Baez, Joshua Baez. Writing it 3 times for the 3 home runs he hit in his MLB Debut. Insane history right there. And speaking of history, the baseball community lost Tommy John over the weekend who's legacy as the first person to get the surgery to repair a torn UCL, will never be forgotten 

Another year, another field of dreams game. The Phillies and Twins faced off and Schwarber had a great game. Meanwhile the Blue Jays and Red Sox had a very confusing play happen that ended up gifting a run. And the division and wildcard races are starting to heat up

Last year the Blue Jays, Tigers and Mariners all won their divisions. And while it's safe to say their seasons haven't gone according to plan, they are still are in striking distance for a wildcard berth. But they each have their own gauntlet to go through this month that can determine if they are postseason bound or not 

It's players of the month time again. In today's episode we go though the best of the best for the month of July as well as looking over some of the winners and losers of the trade deadline. Not to mention the historic stretch of baseball the Boston Red Sox have been on

As July comes to an end, everything now halts for this weekend, the last 3 game before the trade deadline. We really are getting to the end game now with one last weekend to make or break a team who has postseason hopes and dreams. The trades made this weekend will dictate the rest of the season for the best teams and the worse ones

The Miami Marlins have gone from 10 games above .500 and 3GB of the NL East lead, to 2 games under .500 and 10.5GB of the NL East. That's what happens when you lose 12 in a row. The Nationals and Red Sox make somewhat of a head scratching trade depending on who you are as we are just 1 week away from the trade deadline 

Boston's impressive win streak is finished at 15 tying a franchise record. They turned their season upside down but just because the win streak is over, doesn't mean they can step off the gas. And speaking of streaks, the Miami Marlins find themselves on the other end of one losing 9 in a row, they need to start turning things around before this season slips away from them. Nolan Arenado gets his flowers after his 2,000th career hit 

As the 2nd half of the season gets underway, 2 teams in the AL East are trying to turn their seasons around with big winning streaks. Boston have won 13 straight while the Orioles have won 7. We also have an extension and a trade in today's episode as we are just 2 short weeks away from the trade deadline

The second half kicks off now with the All-Star break in the rearview. And with the 2nd half, comes the trade deadline. The next 3 weeks could decide you favorite teams fate for the rest of the season if the baseball gods haven't already decided it for them yet. 

The first half is officially over and it finished with plenty of sweeps. Lots of news in todays episode including the 2026 Draft, an extension, a trade, and some more records and fun history. Now we enjoy the All-Star break before the season really turns up ahead of the trade deadline.  

One more series before the All-Star break and there is still time for your team to start turning things around especially if you are in the AL. Tigers and Red Sox are starting to look like the teams we thought they could be, but do they have enough time before the trade deadline? And speaking of time, it is running out on Justin Verlander who says this year is his last. 

The All-Stars are officially revealed. All the starters, pitchers and reserves. We also have to go over the June players of the month and some of the players really turned their seasons around with a great month. 

Over the half way point in the season as the calendar has hit a new month. July. And with July comes the MLB Draft, All-Star break, and the next thing you know, it'll be the start of August and the trade deadline. Time is running out for teams to turn their season around. Still plenty of time though. Just look at the Rays and Yankees, and this week which has seen a 7.5 game swing as the Rays have won 8 straight and counting while the Yankees have lost 7 and counting. This, plus a bench clearing brawl, a crazy player and so much more to start the month of July in this episode

As we end the month of June, we have an unexpected short episode to go over the weekend series and see how the standings are shaping heading into July. With over half the season behind us and the deadline looming, time is running out on some teams

Wow, we have quite the episode to go over just before the calendar hits July. The Mets are a dead team walking, and have fired their manager after a horrid week vs the Cubs. Meanwhile the Phillies did something that no team has ever done in MLB history before. We've got a trade, new CBA proposals, plenty of milestones as well as the conclusion of Phase 1 voting for the All-Star game

First Pete Crow-Armstrong and now Bryce Harper getting the 2nd cycle of the year in just a 5 day span. That might just be as unreal as Kyle Schwarber and what he was able to do in just a single inning this weekend. Among the news this weekend, we also got to look at the Pirates and their recent ability or should I say inability to win on the days Paul Skenes starts 

A news filled episode going over the current votes for the All-Star game starters is among that news. And speaking of the All-Star game, the home run derby will have a new but old refreshed rule set for this year and beyond. We had a cycle, a 300th career home run, a suspension, a trade and more to discuss

There was really only thing I wanted to talk about from this weekend. JACOB MISIOROWSKI. He's been so great in his last few starts, but the one from this weekend is up there for one of the best I've ever seen. So close to perfection. But we also give a shout out to Vegas as the Athletics played their last 6 games there and put up some insane numbers

A milestone filled week thanks to Max Scherzer and Freddie Freeman. Some great games around the league with plenty of rookies hitting their first career MLB home runs. We also have an update on Tarik Skubal and in the AL Central, there is a new team that stands alone in first place for the first time since early 2022. THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX

Pretty calm weekend overall, however we are getting closer to the half way point in the season, and it may already be time to start calling some teams dead. For the Tigers, there maybe hope around the corner with Tarik Skubal, but what if he's traded? D-Backs also went out to get Kepler while he finishes his PED suspension 

That time of the month to go over the best of the best for the month of May and 2 NL pitchers really stand out when you look at it. One of which being Cristopher Sanchez who is all over this episode including his scoreless inning streak which happened to end during his most recent start. We also look at 2 teams in trending directions

New month time. As we start June, we are getting more into the middle of the baseball season. May ended in a bang however with plenty of walk off winners including 4 home runs in a single day. We also look at some of the negatives including Abner Uribe, the Detroit Tigers as well as some really shitty fans 

We have a full episode to wrap up the month of May. We got a combined no-hitter and NL pitchers who have absolute shoved this month. You have the Cubs ending their 10 game losing streak and the MLB and MLB Players Association both giving their first proposals as they work for a new CBA and so much more to discuss in today's episode

A we reach the end of May, one team in particular is trying to get through this month and that team is the Cubs, started the month on a 10 game winning streak but since that ended, it's been little winning and now on a 8 game losing streak. Meanwhile Chris Taylor either retired or didn't and know one really knew but we know now. 

A big week of baseball with 5 four game sets and 5 sweeps. The Cardinals tarps off movement has started going around the league with fans hyping up their teams and its been working. Brewers and Cubs have swapped at the top of the NL Central and I give my 50 game mark team tier rankings in today's episode 

Another year, another rivalry weekend in MLB. And it led to some very good games and fun series. Kyle Schwarber became the first hitter to reach 20 home runs and is on pace to get over 70. Mariners are also calling up their No.1 prospect and MLB's No. 6 Colt Emerson and are hoping his input can help them start reaching their full potential 

As we reached the mid way point of May, the Braves became the first team to reach 30 wins this year, will this pace keep up for them or slow down eventually. Meanwhile Kevin Gausman joined 5 other active pitchers in the 2,000 strikeout club this week. Cal Raleigh also ended his hitless streak among other things in today's episode

Another episode, another unexpected passing, this time, legendary manager Bobby Cox passed away over the weekend. So in this episode we pay tribute to him, as well as taking a look at the Cubs who have had another 10 game winning streak. We also had our first kind of real trade of the season. Also some fun records and history to discuss in today's episode

A major episode today with lots of things to go over, starting with the Cubs who have once again been the hottest team in baseball and just finished a crazy 4 game set vs the Reds. We also have our first players of the month of the year. We also had an altercation in the Red Sox and Tigers game that has me wondering how the league is handling intentionally throwing at hitters this year compared to others. 

As we get into the month of May, some things are starting to stand out. Such as some impressive players, or teams such as the entire NL Central which still have all 5 teams above .500. Or how about Murakami and Montgomery, and how great they have been to start the year. A simple episode for today but we are only getting started in May

Another week, another manager fired. This time it was Rob Thomson of the Phillies. Will any other teams like the Mets follow suit? In more positive news, the Guardians are calling up the number 1 pick in the 2024 draft, Travis Bazzana as he joins an already stacked class of rookies this season

In the latest news of the 2026 Red Sox, everyone is gone... Well not exactly but might as well be as many different coach's including manager Alex Cora was fired by the team as they are looking to change the outlook of the team this year. Meanwhile Padres and D-backs played an exciting 2 games for the Mexico City series and the Braves become the first team to 20 wins

From one big NL East losing streak to another. The Phillies are picking up where the Mets left of after ending their streak at 12, the Phillies have there's at 9. Meanwhile there is a certain Japanese player who people were saying was going to strikeout a lot, and that he can't hit a fastball consistently that is tearing it up and setting plenty of records. All of that, Dodgers and Giants getting into it and more in today's episode

The New York Mets started 7-4. Since then it's been nothing but lose after lose after lose as their losing streak has reached 11 in a row, their longest since 2004. We also recognize the passing and great career of Garret Anderson in today's episode 

We just had the best week of the regular season so far. Filled with extras, walk offs, major comebacks, 1 run games, multi homer games, back and forth contests and more. We had a crazy battle in the Bronx between Mike Trout and Aaron Judge, as we learned that Mike Trout, as long as he stays healthy, can still be one of the best players in the league. We also had another young kid get a long term extension as that trend continues to happen. Padres have won 8 in a row and are still 1.5GB of the Dodgers. What more do they need to do 

Jordan Walker has been tearing it up here in the first 2 weeks of the season. But what exactly is behind this breakout for Walker and is it sustainable? Meanwhile teams like the Dodgers, Braves and Padres have been off to nice starts while other teams that were on their pace like the Yankees, Brewers, and Astros have cooled off big time

As the first month continues, we had fireworks already between Jorge Soler and Reynaldo Lopez. MLB also showed off all 8 new city connects this year. And why yes it still is early, there are a few teams in the AL that aren't off to the hottest starts and which is the most concerning. 

OH, Who lives in Pittsburgh at PNC Park. Konnor Griffin. Signed a 9 year deal for 140M. Konnor Griffin Who drove in a run in his first at bat. Konnor Griffin. Ok that's enough of that and you better read that in the SpongeBob theme song. But the Pirates are hot and are making a statement with the call up and extension for Konnor Griffin. Around the league you had Jo Adell creating a no fly zone in right field and a young catcher who forgot he's not supposed to hit the snooze button. 

2nd series is in the books and of course it's still to early to read into anything this season. BUTTTT, if we were, we'd talk about how dominate Miami has been and how incredible the Yankees pitching has been. Oh and also CB Bucknor... Ya, CB Bucknor

WE ARE SO BACK. An insane episode for you guys including the longest series recap I've ever done and that's because of so much stuff that happened this weekend. We had extras, we had walk-offs, we had so many rookies ball out with first MLB hits being home runs, and rookies who already have 3 straight games with home runs. Insane weekend with so much to go over, hopefully I didn't miss anything

The time is now. Opening Day is this week which means it's the perfect time for my annual picks for all the awards as well as divisions and my world series winner. How much will I be right about? Or how much will I be wrong about? All we can do is watch and enjoy the baseball that's ahead of us and find out as the new baseball season finally kicks off
