The Transformative Power of Beauty and Confidence with Meagan Brown
Send us Fan MailThe Transformative Power of Beauty and ConfidenceWhat if beauty isn’t really about how you look?In this episode of the Midnight Maven Podcast, Jamie sits down with talented hairstylist and makeup artist Megan to talk about something that goes far deeper than hair, makeup, or a before-and-after transformation.Sometimes, sitting in a salon chair can become a turning point.A new hairstyle. A little makeup. A moment of being cared for. REMEMBERING JUDY MARIE | 36 YEARS WITHOUT ANSWERS
Send us Fan MailSeptember 8, 1990 changed my life forever. In this deeply personal episode of Midnight Maven Podcast, Kristal and I step away from our usual conversations and into a story that has been part of my life for 36 years—my mother, Judy Marie, and the unsolved mystery surrounding her disappearance. But before Judy became a cold-case file, she was my mom.She was a five-foot-one, spunky cowgirl with a huge heart. She was creative, fiercely loving, an animal rescuer, a woman who could look at someone else's trash and somehow turn it into treasure. She was a mother, a daughter, a friend—and a person whose life mattered.I remember the hope I felt that day. My mom was preparing to leave an abusive marriage, and for the first time, I believed we might finally have a chance at a different life. Then she disappeared.Thirty-six years later, there are still questions that have never been answered. Questions that don't disappear simply because time passes. In this episode, I share memories of my mother, the events surrounding September 8, 1990, the last time I saw her, and what it feels like to carry unanswered questions for more than half your life. This isn't just a story about a missing woman. It's about a mother who deserves to be remembered as more than a case number. It's about a daughter who still wants answers. And it's about refusing to let Judy Marie be forgotten.Someone has to keep asking. Are We Addicted to Our Phones? Breaking Free From the Scroll
Send us Fan MailWhen was the last time you went an entire morning without reaching for your phone?Be honest. 😅In this episode of Midnight Maven, we’re talking about something most of us are guilty of—our phones. From that first-morning scroll to checking notifications every five minutes, we’re getting real about how technology can slowly take over our attention, our relationships, our family time, and even our ability to just sit and be present. We’re talking about phone addiction, kids and social media, setting boundaries, creating phone-free spaces, finding things to do offline, and why sometimes the best thing you can do is simply put the damn phone down. But this isn't about throwing your phone in the trash and moving to the woods. It’s about finding a healthier relationship with technology—and remembering that the real world is still happening right in front of us.So… maybe put your phone down while you listen.Or don’t.We’re not judging. 😂🌙 Midnight Maven PodcastReal conversations. My "TRUTH" About My Depression

More than you'd think. In this candid episode of Midnight Maven, Jamie and Kristal kick things off with plenty of laughs about surviving the summer heat, wrestling with podcast equipment, and embracing the chaos that comes with creating something new. But beneath the humor is a much deeper conversation.Jamie shares the deeply personal story behind why she made the difficult decision to walk away from her first podcast, Judy's Daughter: The Jamie Goode Story. What began as a way to process the trauma surrounding her mother's disappearance eventually became emotionally overwhelming, forcing her to choose healing over reliving the past. That decision led to the birth of Midnight Maven—a podcast created to celebrate women, amplify their voices, and provide a safe space for honest conversations about life, business, creativity, music, and everything in between. In this episode, we talk about:Why Jamie walked away from her first podcastHow trauma can affect your mental and physical healthThe inspiration behind the name Midnight MavenWhat it means to be a "Maven"Building a community where women feel seen, heard, and supportedPlus, plenty of real-life laughs about Texas heat, Walmart adventures, and podcast growing pains.Whether you're navigating a new chapter, healing from the past, building a business, or simply looking for authentic conversations, you're in the right place.Welcome to Midnight Maven.🎙️ New episodes every week.#MidnightMavenPodcast #WomenSupportingWomen #Podcast #Entrepreneur #WomenInBusiness #WomenInMusic #HealingJourney #TexasWomen #CreativeEntrepreneur #RealConversationsSupport the show🎙️ The Midnight Maven PodcastReal Women. When the Fog Rolls In: Honest Conversations About Depression, Masking, and Getting Through the Day
Send us Fan MailIn this deeply honest and unfiltered episode, Jamie & Kristal open up about what depression really looks like behind the scenes of everyday life. From emotional “peaks and valleys” to the sudden fog that can roll in without warning, they talk candidly about the mental weight so many people carry while still trying to show up, function, and keep life moving forward.Together, they explore the reality of “high-functioning depression” — the ability to work, create, and smile on the outside while struggling privately once the world goes quiet. The conversation moves through personal experiences with masking emotions, self-isolation, and the way creativity, movement, and small daily actions can become lifelines. They also reflect on how different coping outlets like art, photography, writing, music, or even something as simple as a shower or a walk can become powerful tools for emotional release. At the heart of the episode is a message of hope: you are not alone in what you’re feeling. Jamie & Kristal remind listeners that everyone is fighting something, even if it isn’t visible, and that healing often starts with honesty, connection, and finding safe ways to let it out instead of holding it in. They also share encouragement for anyone navigating depression to take things one step at a time and seek support when needed.Raw, relatable, and real, this conversation is a reminder that even in the hardest seasons, there is still connection, purpose, and a way forward.Support the show🎙️ The Midnight Maven PodcastReal Women. BOMBSHELL: Witness Confirms Judy Fell IN The Truck
Send us Fan MailA single phone call changed everything. In this powerful bonus episode, I share the details of a spontaneous call with Ernest Harris. He verifies his alibi but, most importantly, he directly implicates his family member, Kenneth Harris, who was present the night my mother vanished. In this episode, we break down:The Head Wound: Kenneth told Ernest that Judy did not fall out of the truck, but rather fell inside the truck bed and hit her head on the back of Kenny Reid’s truck. This means blood was on his vehicle.A Witness Confession: Kenneth told Ernest that Kenny Reid had plans to take advantage of my mother. The Wells: Ernest grants permission to search the wells on his property, fueling a new, immediate search effort.Pleading for Rhoda: I put out a desperate call for a woman named Rhoda (R-H-O-D-A), a key witness who may have crucial information but was too afraid to give a full statement to police years ago.I am more certain than ever that my mother was murdered. Now, I need your help to prove it.I am begging the Grand Saline community: I need help establishing a professional search team to correctly investigate specific properties, wells, and a creepy area off of Highway 17. “It Wasn’t Just One: The Men Behind Her Disappearance”
Send us Fan MailEpisode Description: For decades, the story was simple: one man was blamed for Judy Marie’s disappearance. But the truth is far more chilling. In this episode, we uncover the dark reality that it wasn’t just one man — it took multiple people to silence her and cover up what happened. Who were they? Are they still alive? And why, after all these years, have they remained silent while a family continues to grieve and search for answers?Join me as I peel back the layers of lies and secrecy surrounding my mother’s case, exposing the men who were there that night — and the ones who have stayed hidden in the shadows for far too long.#JusticeForJudyMarie #TrueCrime #FindJudyMarieSupport the show🎙️ The Midnight Maven PodcastReal Women.
