22 - Burn Notice (Characters Welcome)
In podcasting, your most important tool—more important than any vocal technique, any technical skill—is your ability to twist the facts of a TV series to your own advantage. This week, we enter the world of USA Network for the mid-2000's spy comedy (?) Burn Notice. This is our first entry into "blue sky" television. We are thrilled to join Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), Fi (Gabrielle Anwar), the mom (Sharon Gless), Bruce Campbell, and a Guy Fieri type guy as they do spy things in Miami, Florida. 21 - Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Mids Classics)
Lord, forgive me, but it's time to go back to that old me. We recorded this episode in 2021! Or something like that. Yes, this week your episode is a Mids classic. We are once again discussing a teenage witch. Which old witch? The middest witch. That's right, we covered the 90's WB hit sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Why? Why not. This one pairs nicely with our episode on the Netflix original Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

20 - Bluey (HBD)
For the first time in the history of this podcast, we are reviewing a show from Australia! No, not the ABC1 series 'The Slap'. We watched several episodes of Bluey from ABC Kids. We discuss what it means to imagine and whether we would recommend this show for families (the human kind, not heckin' pupper doggos xD). Please join us for a fabulous discussion.

This week, we make our way into the world of true crime with the documentary series that started it all—Unsolved Mysteries. From an assassination that changed the course of history to a reenactment that launched Matthew McConoghey's career, this season 5 episode has a lot to unpack. 14 - All American (Mids Classics)
It may be unseasonably warm, but, if you can believe it, it's football season once again! To mark the start of the new season, we are sharing one of the first episodes we ever recorded: our review of Season 3 Episode 8 of the CW hit series All American. I would like to start off by giving credit to Taye Diggs who gives a wonderful performance throughout the entire series—a series one of your hosts watched for several seasons after this. So get ready to hear discussions about CW, high school, bullying, high school football, college football, professional football, teen angst, teen bullying (one of the biggest issues facing teens today), a secret teen marriage (one of the biggest issues facing teens today), homecoming. Yeah. we've got it all. What's the premise of Mids? Well, two friends use randomizers to pick a show and a episode that we may or may not have seen before—and then we talk about it. So get lost with us, or yell at your ipod nano because we can't get the character names straight. Either way, we're confident that you'll have a good time. It's fine to put on while you're folding laundry. Want to help our show grow? Please rate the show on any platform and write us a review on Apple podcasts. We're told it helps. 13 - The Handmaid's Tale (Mids Classics)
I want to shout out Deniz Gamze Ergüven for directing the episode of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale that we reviewed this week. We didn't get to it, but it was in my notes to highlight her fantastic direction. This episode deals with things a little heavier than our normal fare, but we never know what we're gonna get each week. We hope it is still a fun and interesting listen.I'll note that we recorded this several years ago so forgive us for not addressing how bad everything is.Shout out to Kate Bush for the incredible song featured in the episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WataeV4WsI4And of course, Happy Birthday to Elizabeth Moss._____Special message from David: If you can, please donate to this mutual aid effort to support the MacArthur Park vendors. You have probably seen on the news that people who sell ice cream trying to make a living for their families are being harassed by federal immigration enforcement. They're laying low for the summer so this link is being used to raise funds to assist they directly. https://www.gofundme.com/f/el-pueblo-salva-el-pueblo-mutual-aid-for-street-vendors
