Así que tomé la decisión de repartir los Glints de otra manera: compré 1 recompensa épica, 2 raras y muchas de las normales. Al final fue una buena elección, porque logramos mejorar bastante la colección. Con las recompensas que salieron conseguimos que casi todas las cartas quedaran a nivel 2, y además dos de ellas incluso llegaron a nivel 3, lo cual me dejó bastante feliz. Hubo una carta en particular que me llamó mucho la atención. Solo nos salió una copia, lo que me hace pensar que debe ser una carta bastante fuerte para ser de las normales, porque claramente no aparece con mucha frecuencia. Siempre es curioso cuando eso pasa en el juego. Algo que sí se notó bastante es que no utilicé pociones, por lo que ninguna de las cartas salió dorada. Aun así, la suerte me acompañó bastante en las recompensas que obtuvimos, así que no me puedo quejar. Además, esta vez no estuve sola en el proceso. Mi gordiño me ayudó bastante, fue un momento divertido porque abrir recompensas siempre genera expectativa. Apenas le comenté a Bulka que los tenía, lo primero que me dijo fue algo así como “ábrelo no más, para eso son”, y bueno… tenía razón. El único detalle no tan favorable es que ando corta de pociones, así que mis probabilidades no estaban tan potenciadas como me hubiera gustado. Por eso decidí abrir solo los packs que me permitían las pociones que ya tenía guardadas, y dejar el resto para más adelante, cuando pueda acumular un poco más y hacerlo con mejores chances. Igual, abrir packs así, medio a la suerte, también tiene su encanto. Todo este proceso lo hice grabando desde mi laptop, que anda un poco lenta, así que entre el lag, la grabación y la ansiedad, fue toda una experiencia 😅. Aun así, valió totalmente la pena porque me salieron varias cartas muy lindas, y para mi alegría, al menos una fue dorada, lo que siempre emociona un montón. Es ese momento en que dices: “ok, ya con esto estoy feliz”. Ahora viene la parte que siempre llega después del hype inicial: aprender a usar bien las cartas. Yo iba con la idea clarísima de que vendían mazorcas 🌽 (el nombre engaña bastante 😅), pero sorpresa… nada de eso. El menú era más bien una mezcla bien interesante entre comida venezolana y colombiana: cachapas, arepas, parrillas y varios platos con maíz como protagonista. La verdad, todo se veía muy rico y lo que probamos tenía buen sabor, se notaba que era comida hecha con cariño y bastante contundente. Eso sí, en mi caso no pude disfrutarlo del todo porque algo tenía gluten y me cayó mal 🥲. Los demás estaban perfectos, así que el problema fui yo y mi pancita delicada de siempre. Aun así, la experiencia fue buena, el lugar es agradable y diferente, y se agradece encontrar propuestas nuevas. Si vuelvo a ir, seguramente será solo de acompañante y para mirar cómo comen los demás 😆, porque ya aprendí la lección. Igual, conocer lugares nuevos siempre suma, aunque no todo salga perfecto.

No fue algo tan fácil como parece, la verdad 😅. Aunque el video se ve corto y liviano, sí me costó un poco agarrarle el ritmo, porque no soy bailarina profesional ni mucho menos. La canción es esa que estuvo muy viral, la que muchos conocen como “Ingles en miami” 😂. No sé el nombre exacto, pero apenas empezó a sonar en todos lados supe que en algún momento iba a caer. Tiene ese ritmo pegajoso que te obliga a moverte, aunque sea un poquito. Para el baile me fijé en algunos pasos que vi en otros videos, traté de copiarlos a mi manera y adaptarlos a lo que podía hacer con el vestido y el cosplay. No quise algo perfecto ni súper ensayado, más bien algo natural, que se sintiera espontáneo. Hubo intentos, repeticiones, risas y uno que otro “no, este paso no me sale” 😂, pero al final lo importante era disfrutarlo. El cosplay de Jicarilla de San Valentín, con tanto rojo y ese aire romántico pero atrevido, me daba ganas de moverme más que solo posar para fotos. Este cosplay de San Valentín inspirado en Jicarilla the Rime fue una idea que se fue armando. Poco a poco fui consiguiendo las cosas: algunas planeadas, otras adaptadas según lo que encontraba o podía costear. No todo quedó perfecto, y eso también es parte del proceso creativo. Por ejemplo, los volados blancos del gorrito y la capa no quedaron exactamente como los imaginaba al inicio, pero aun así sentí que el conjunto lograba transmitir la esencia de la carta y del espíritu de San Valentín. Algo que quise incluir sí o sí fue la transición del look, porque para mí también cuenta una historia. Al inicio usé una pijamita rosada hermosa, que me regaló mi hermanita Mariely desde España 💕. Venía literalmente de lejos, y totalmente en mi estilo: dulce, suave y femenina. Me pareció perfecta para representar esa versión más tierna y rosada que normalmente soy, y usarla como transición hacia el rojo intenso y atrevido del cosplay final. Fue como pasar del amor suave al amor apasionado ❤️✨. La verdad es que decidí subir el cosplay tal como estaba porque vi que las skins ya estaban siendo retiradas, y no quería que esta versión se perdiera en el olvido. Fue un “ahora o nunca”, y preferí compartirlo imperfecto pero auténtico. Al final, creo que cumple con la vibra romántica, intensa y elegante de la skin: rojo, rojo y más rojo. El vestido fue una de las partes más difíciles: es de seda satén tipo cocktail, algo que no fue nada fácil de encontrar. La capa, curiosamente, fue mucho más simple de resolver de lo que imaginé. El gorrito lo terminé decorando con lo que tenía a mano: una cinta, un corazón y unas plumas pequeñas que, aunque discretas, cumplieron su función. Un detalle que casi no se nota en fotos es que el vestido por atrás es estilo corset, se ajusta bastante a la figura. Nadie me ayudó a ponérmelo, y siento que con ayuda habría quedado aún mejor, pero así es esto del cosplay casero: creatividad, paciencia y resolver como se pueda. Estábamos todos en casa con día libre. Mi papá comienza a trabajar mañana y mi mamá pronto se va de vacaciones a España con mis hermanas, así que quisimos aprovechar este pequeño momento juntos antes de que cada uno retome su rutina. Pedimos chip suey de pollo y otra versión con quinoa, algo que me llamó mucho la atención. Not the typical light drizzle that sometimes appears in winter, but intense rain, with constant thunder and lightning, the kind you usually associate more with other regions of the country, but not so much with the capital. After a long and heavy day, when it finally began to clear up, the sky gave us a beautiful sunset. One of those that appear just when you least expect them. The contrast between the dark clouds and the orange and pink tones was too beautiful not to record, so I took out my cell phone and decided to do it in hyperlapse, so that you could see the rapid movement of the clouds and the changing light. The idea was to capture something relaxing, almost magical. And it looked beautiful live. The problem came later. When I reviewed the video, I noticed that the hyperlapse mode greatly reduced the quality of the camera. Everything looks darker, blurrier, and faster. But amid that movement, something caught my attention: a kind of light or figure crossing the sky very quickly, as if it were an airplane passing at full speed. At first, I thought exactly that: “Oh, it must be an airplane.” But when I showed the video, several people told me that planes don't usually fly in those kinds of weather conditions, especially with such heavy rain, lightning, and low clouds. And that's when I started to have doubts. You can hardly see anything, I know. The video isn't clear and the hyperlapse makes it even more confusing, but even so... something is moving across the sky. Very fast. Too fast. And it doesn't leave the typical clear trail that you usually see when it's an airplane. Maybe it's just an effect of the recording mode. Maybe it's a reflected light. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Or maybe not. I don't mean to say it's anything strange, because there's probably a logical explanation. But after such an unusual stormy day in Santiago, seeing that detail got me thinking.
